Pac-Man is an arcade classic that has gone through many changes over the years. So much so that it even got it's own cartoon, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. Today, we are going to take a look at this show, see how this version of the yellow circle held up and what happened to it.

A detail that I didn’t know about until a lot later is that the 4 ghosts designs were based on the ones they had for the PAC-man party game for Wii. Look it up; I’m sure they’re the same designs.
I think that this show was released around the same time that the Wii was a hot item.

I honestly prefer the designs for Inky, Blink, Pinky and Clyde in this series and wish they'd returned for the Pac-Man World remake, as they're more distinct from each other and emphasise their personalities better. I also really like the voice actors they were given.

They're nice, but I prefer their prototypes from Pac-Man Party. Heck, my favorite Pac-Man design is from that game and the cancelled Pac-Man World 2010 game.
Same. As much as I like their classic looks, I like the Ghosts Ghostly Adventures look even more. And I enjoyed Cylindria and Spiral-as one dimensional as they were. It’s kinda a shame that Bandai Namco didn’t incorporate them into the classic Pac-Man games.
@@MetalSonicReject they just kicked Ghostly Adventures to the curb when people were upset about it, with many fans beliving Namco was replacing the Pac-Man World series of platformers with Ghostly Adventures, hence why we never saw Pac-Man in anything beyond Nostalgia Bait, Mobile games, and Cameos since 2014 (Yes, Pac-Man World Re-Pac counts as it's a remake of the original 1999 game)
@Ahmed malake , nah, I think they changed the Party designs slightly for GA. Also, yes, Pinky is adorable in Party (honestly, more so than the show).
The visuals of the show are something else. My favorite part of Pac-Man’s character design in this show is his shoes. I always imagined Sonic the Hedgehog having Pac-Man’s shoes for the longest time ngl.
For me, this show feel like what if Sonic Boom done right. You know, with more action like this

Fun Fact: Bandai Namco’s Mike Chang said that the Pac Man we see in this series is the son of the Pac Man and Ms. Pac Man we know today.
They should've finished the series with no cliffhanger, but I think it's really cool that Pac-Man is friends with the four ghosts he fights with in the game, and Pinky in this show, she's adorable X3

I’m sad we didn’t get a season 3. I really wanted to know what happened to Pac’s parents. Also, although the main theme is controversial, the power berry theme was fire!

It's to see that people are starting to give more attention to the relatively overlooked shows that aired on Disney XD. I loved how this series took a game with a relatively simple idea (Pac-Man set in a futuristic urban setting) and elevated it to something that was truly unique. I adored the aesthetics and background history present in this show, and it's a real shame that we never got a definitive conclusion.
Also, can we all agree that the Power Berries were one of the best things about this show? They looked so tasty!
A lot of these shows make me feel so much nostalgia. Many of these I remember watching for the first time like it was yesterday
I was hoping you’d talk about repository of the ghost’s corporeal bodies that is literally kept in the PRESIDENT’S OFFICE in this show and had a whole episode about it where inky, blinky, pinky and clyde entered it at the same time and all four of them got stuck in the same body. That episode was insane

I remember watching this show. I was actually greatly interested. I'm not exactly sure what drew me to it but I enjoyed it and I think that's really all that matters whenever you watch a show. There are some gripes I have and some negative aspects but I think it did a pretty good job. Unfortunately I feel like a season 3 was needed since it needed to answer a bunch of questions that were brought up during the shows run time.
All in all I give this show a solid 7.5 out of 10
I unironically love this show. Huge comfort cartoon for me.
Although the tone of the show is insane. One second they're like trauma, war, genocide, and then the next second they're like haha fart joke. What a ride.
i personally think it's a good show. is it perfect? no. is it great? ... no~? but is it good? yes. it has a likable set of both heroes and villains, the power ups are pretty cool, even if some are one-offs for a gag but the gag can work some times, and i like how they change up Pac-Man from grown Pac with family with kid Pac who is looking for he's family. though, i think the cool abilities was my selling point as well as the Halloween episodes/special. can't help it: you make a fun or entertaining Halloween episode/special and it's a good show at best.

Me and an old friend used to love this show back in middle school, I've got no idea why we loved it but we did. The series although bad will always hold a special place in my heart. Interestingly the Netherworld and Betrayus ended up inspiring my own character and story, I'll work on eventually. I'm so happy you talked about this show, keep up the great work.

To this day, I've been itching for a new episode! I know they may never continue this show, but the worldbuilding was huge and the lore regarding the Pac World War went hard! I would give anything to finally see Pac and his friends just drop in on the planet of the Pointy Head species and completely obliterate their army while searching for Pac's parents and possibly the rest of the surviving Yellow Ones, as the episode that last aired had implied! Also, I refuse to let the lore revolving around the Overlords of the Outer Regions go unexplained! X D Man, I wish I lived in the alternate reality where this show lived to see its proper finale...
I’ve always thought of this show as “Namco’s Sonic Boom”
A tie-in show for a Wii U game, complete redesigns of the characters (and new ones), people like the show more than the games. Except unlike Sonic Boom the theme song’s been stuck in my head for so long now, lol
I thought the game came before the show in PMatGA's case.
I remember dressing up as a ghost for Halloween because of this show and Luigi's mansion. I loved ghosts a lot lol.
This show was always a good time for me and I really wish it would come back. I thought everything from the story, to the settings, to the heroes and villains was awesome, Especially Lord Batrayus. Everything about him was perfect for being the main villain, from his entertaining personality, his villainous design, to his voice that always sounded like Double D from Ed, Edd, n' Eddy doing an Invader Zim impression. I really wished that they would've kept him around for the game series.
My favorite scene is when Pacman said "It's Pacing Time!"

Actually, it would be interesting if this Pac was a descendant of the original Pacman, and is named after him, along with everything else. Maybe the 1st Pac World War was when Pacman became the hero, and now the records were changed by Betrayus to try to get the Pac Worlders to forget about Pacman.
20 minutes long? The Pac must really be back, he’d want a retrospective on his show to be as in-depth as this

I love watching the show as a kid. I remember playing Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 1 and 2 video game on the Wii U, and it’s a lot of fun with the missions and mini games!
I feel like this series deserves a 3rd season an actually 3rd season and not like where you just put the other half of season 2 and put it in a another playlist for depending for which region you live in. They can't just leave us in a cliffhanger where Elli just whispers for where pac's parents are and also thought the theme song was nice for my opinion.

The show was not the best but I wanted to see how it would go considering it ended on a massive cliffhanger
I loved this show when it came out a week before my 10th birthday. The first 2 episodes started as a dark story but then moves on for a more episodic approach
I remember playing the first game of Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures and watching the tv series. The intro of the show was a banger for me.

I honestly think it’s best that this show was canceled a few years ago. I recently rewatched it, and, it wasn’t terrible, but I don’t think it was as memorable as Sonic Boom.

Tbh, I never liked both Ghostly and Boom.
I always prefer 80s Pac Man and the 90s Sonic cartoons.

Pac-Man and the Ghostly adventures was a good series. There were some funny jokes here and there (besides the fart jokes) and looking at the memes that popped up about a month ago to me shows how much people still care about our chowing down machine during all of those years! I never knew that they had toys for him or maybe I did but the comercial a didn’t grasp my attention too well.
I also like this little idea from the show that the ghost were so kind and trustworthy enough to find their own bodies back. And I also liked how Pam-man was on a mission to find his long lost parents. Such a good series to go back to if you asked me.

As a Voice Actor Fan, this Show did something Cool. Ocean/Canada did the Voices for the Show, but L.A/Bang-Zoom did one or both of the Video Games. I Love Both Groups mostly thanks to Anime & Video Games, so it was really cool hearing & comparing the character's different Voices.
Everytime I think of this cartoon I just remember the one time back in my highschool days, it was pretty dark out, in my mom's clinic watching the tv behind the receptionist desk. Then when we were heading out, I left it in this channel. So now the people in the waiting area, who were all adults and elderly was subjected to this show. I cringe a bit whenever i think about it.
And I will never forget this theme song for as long as I live whether I like it or not
I still watch it sometimes. It's on nearly every streaming service out there and two video games were made tied with the show itself, though the voice cast is slightly different.
This has to be my favorite type of pac man

I was 14 when I discovered this show on TV. The fact there was something I liked actually on mainstream media TV really got me interested in the show. I love the show and helped bring a story to the PacMan franchise. It's also the first time I heard a voice for PacMan. Therefore when I see PacMan (specifically the Ghostly Adventures variant), I hear this voice.
I honestly love the show from what I did see and watch on Disney XD when I could.

I remember when this show started; I would have it on in the background out of sheer curiosity. I was actually somewhat intrigued by what the series tried to accomplish, because I know the PacMan games don't have much in terms of story - you gotta build from the ground-up. However, I do remember some aspects of the show being asinign.
