Hematology Overview for Nursing Students

  • This video provides an overview of the hematologic system. Blood components are reviewed with special attention paid to how they are clinically significant to the disease states that will be reviewed join subsequent videos.
    I am Gail L Lupica with over 20 years of experience teaching nursing at the pre-licensure level. I earned a Bachelor Science in Nursing at SUNY Binghamton in 1986, a Master's in Nursing Education in 1992 from New York University (NYU) and a PhD in Adult and Post-Secondary Education in 2011. I have many years of experience in NCLEX-RN test preparation and remediation.

      You're so welcome! Pathophysiology never goes out of style and any medications and/or treatments have a 5-year window after which they need to be re-examined. :)
