had to stop watching for a minute to say thank you for not posting a 30 minute video. As a busy nursing student i dont have the time to watch a long drawn out video. Got the info down in a short time. Thanks!

I have spent hours trying to wrap my head around shock for my last final exam of nursing school. This did what my teacher, textbooks and articles could not do. THANK YOU GAIL!!!

You are a truly gifted lecturer, and you have no idea what I would give to have professors who teach as you do. Lots of other YT nursing content creators focus on "remember these key words for your exams," which is helpful in that capacity, but I really hate that everything has become focused on shortcuts and the "what do I need to know for the exam?" mentality. Your lectures are concise and easy to understand but at the same time, you are really tackling the root of the material and making sure that the viewer UNDERSTANDS what is HAPPENING, which is actually really important for a real nurse! We are not going to be students forever, and we need to know more than how to pass a test. I love that this helps me actually wrap my mind around the heart of the matter. Thank you so much for doing what you do.

Spot on. I like how this tells it how it is. I really learn this way and the other videos are just as well produced. Great teaching. Thanks!

Wow!!!! Ms. Lupica this was AMAAAAAZING !!! Straight forward so simple but depth of concept! I am in my last semester of my ADN and I have a cardiac exam in two days...i came from radiology into nursing school and I have known alllll about RAAS and BP and how the lungs do one thing and then the aldosterone the other and I knew the BIG concept of improving circulatory pressure since Nur102 but no one has ever explained it as "the angtiotension conversion gets you TONE of the vessel and the aldosterone takes care of the VOLUME." That was so goooooood!
I had a light bulb moment of gaining deeper knowledge of nursing.
    Thanks again, honestly, thank you.

      Wait
      Second mindblown moment
"Cardiogenic shock is just extreme heart failure."
How did I not think of that ?!? :)
