Funny you did a video on him...his rookie year my mother sold furniture and Devin Harris came in and bought his furniture from my mom. Lol 😂 she got me his autograph, I think I was around 13-14 years old. I know this is random but thought I would share.
Im from Milwaukee & been waiting on this one. Both my uncles told me how much of a bucket he was back in HS. He somehow consistently stays as a bucket on 2k tho
You really did it with this 1 when i was kid growing up in milwaukee he was 1 of the 1st to grow up in Wisconsin went to Tosa East HS go the hometown university and make to the NBA good shit @StuntedGrowth
Thank you for making this video. Us Wisconsin fans don't get to see a lot of our guys make it to The Association, let alone have long pro career. So we have a soft for Devin Harris. We have been saying all the things you said in this video for years. Teams like the Mavs and Nets gave him a raw deal and while he had a great NBA career, it should have been better. But even when was he was playing at an all-star level, he was so overlooked.
I played summer ball with him from age 11 to 15 and back then he had the And 1 handles for real. Dude could roll around on the ground and spin and keep his dribble alive. He couldn't shoot at all though. He is what hard work and potential looks like when it comes together. If he didn't get hurt he would have been a multiple time all-star.
Another cap 6:57 "Never been much of a shooter" devin always had a great mdirange pull up and was a great 3 point shooter growing up as most of us were in that area of the midwest excluding CHicago. SHooting particularly 3 point shooting is a staple for Milwaukee players that made it out of Milwaukee. IM gonna note one last thing is Devin was on an AAU team that had all of my schools plaeyrs on it and he was the 4th or 5th best on the team. Latrell Fleming was the best no contest. Latrell also was recruited to the badgers but never player due to a heart condition. Latrell was a McDOnald's All American(honorable mention) reserve ranked in the 20-25 nationally since his freshman year by STreet and Smith's. He was twice as skilled as Devin same height and deceptive hops, shot a set shot in peoples faces(as opposed to a jump shot) and had more handles than any other 2 guard in our town and was a smart player. Dev had this hezzie move and that super offensive hustle speed and endurance, and midrange pullup he was always a high-quality shooter and rewatching his games instead of just lookign at stats will show you that. He wasnt westbrook or something he was defiintiely what real ballers would identify as a "Shooter"
Knew his Badger teammate Alando Tucker. They had good battles with my Illinois team. Met Devin his last college season. Had know clue he was that good.
Kris Humphries and Devin used to go at it for the best freshman in the Big 10. One of the times where the big ten was fun to watch and before it turned boring, slow sets, and three point chucking as the shot clock ran out.
The onlyyyyyy thing I wish the 2011 championship mavs team had was Devin Harris. He deserved to get a ring. Granted he had his shot in 06 and there’s no telling how he woulda fit on that ‘11 squad but I feel like he woulda helped them. Oh well.
Great slasher and cutter with some defensive chops. Injuries and being a sub-average shooter and playmaker lowered his ceiling considerably. But even as he aged, he'd still get lots of buckets just off of backdoor cuts and give and gos. Definitely had a very respectable and long career.
Nice I was a fan of Devin Harris also. Avery Johnson wasn't for the trade but black coaches have trouble getting their way sometimes. P.S. DeMarr Johnson would be a great story.
Shut up idiot with the race crap. Overpaid, handed everything. Lucky black athletes. You are giving more opportunities than a white coach or player. Get over it
Please one day , Walter berry, why he didn’t make it , Jordan’s point guard at unc Jimmy black, UNLV Anderson hunt or Mark price backcourt mate Bruce Dalrymple all of these guys should have made it based off there college careers Oh! Let’s not forget one of the best defenders at guard at the college level Bruce Douglas, from the Illini
Nice! A.I and Jordan at the end was a nice treat.
He got that injury and was never the same
Can’t play 18 years in the league, and be considered a disappointment. Milwaukee, stand up
LionPeltLoinCloth but he didn’t play 18 seasons,he was drafted in 2004 lol
He played long as fuck tho
Big facts bro 💯

@@tremain7056 Drafted in 2004 and retired in 2019.Do you even maths bro?

Nice! Devin Seems like a cool dude
That Nets team with him Carter and Jefferson was legendary and so much fun to watch
I dont know about legendary! But they were fun to watch!
Once Kidd left they were trash
I think Jefferson was traded before Harris got there.
Devin Harris Was A Good Player . He Had A Stellar Run 👏🏾
Having played against this man in high school it Is amazing what he accomplished. His speed was electric
Im from Milwaukee & been waiting on this one. Both my uncles told me how much of a bucket he was back in HS. He somehow consistently stays as a bucket on 2k tho
WHo are your uncles? I played for Dominican, and DTA younger team went at Dev all the time we spanked Tosa East btw but Dev would get 25or30 on us
People forget about him all the time! He was a baller!
He was good off the bench use to score Mavs should have kept him.
Stunt growth Dan Dickau
Every kid when I was in High School love him. He was crazy a 6’4” PG crazy handle and bounce and he played defense solid player.
What?! He played like 13 years in the league. More than a fulfilled career. He and his grandkids are set for life!
We’re talking about basketball wise relax nobody saying he a failure
He had a good career coming out of Wisconsin. Good video keep that content coming 💯
King Cairo yeah man. That long of a career, as a point guard....you have to really be able to play.
@@LionPelt His career is better the 70% of top picks in the last decade 💯

Dog broke my heart he should of went down as one of the greatest ever definitely stunted growth this ones deep my boy
I fill like this was a bad stunted growth. He was unranked until his senior year. All-Star in the league. Great college career.
Full college career and 18 years in the league. What else do you want from me (in my Tyrese voice)?
Facts! Don't forget NBA all star, Guinness books
@@stuntedgrowth also true!
🔥🔥🔥 one of the most unique careers ever
I’m Wisconsin Lonnie and I approve this message. ™️
He was nice man, I remember when he was the fastest player in the league
Devin Harris is a legend
Playing 18 years in the NBA is definitely not a disappointment.
15 years actually, but still very good.

He had shot that no true mi yute he had a jumper am 3 ball especially in the 04-07 Dallas teams

noremaC 15 ???? That’s a career and a half!!! And he was an All Star!! He had a helluva career!!
@@jamaalhorton2343 most definitely
@@jamaalhorton2343 yup and people forget he had 3 major hip surgeries
I know this is random but Adam Morrison was and IS THE BIGGEST NBA BUST IF WE'RE GOING OFF HYPE
Random but he had one of the flyest chains I ever saw with that “W” chain 🔥
One of the best cutters to the rim of all time
Great vid
I heard you mention Dan Dickau. Would love to see a vid on him or his teammate Casey Calvary
I always followed his career.. He had a great one!!! No rings but i wouldn't complain!!
He was a beast on 2k
A.I. in his prime would definitely beat Harris record. Fastest person I've ever seen on the court.
Damon stoudamire too
good post bro
Definitely Played 15 Seasons
You need to put the merch link under your vids. Your clothes are fire.
Harris went to my college #OnWisconsin
Did anybody watch NBA Rookies in 05? It followed Iguodala, Harris, JR Smith, and Emeka Okafor.
Ayee Wisconsin legend!!!
Knew his Badger teammate Alando Tucker. They had good battles with my Illinois team. Met Devin his last college season. Had know clue he was that good.
Shaheen Holloway!
the best cutter in the league
Young Devin would have been impossible to stay in front of today
Kris Humphries and Devin used to go at it for the best freshman in the Big 10. One of the times where the big ten was fun to watch and before it turned boring, slow sets, and three point chucking as the shot clock ran out.
You should do one on Recesse Gains
Devin Harris was underrated
Do Alando tucker from Wisconsin
my idol
Salute
I’m confused, you said he played 18 seasons but he played from 2004-2019.Your math is off but great video nonetheless
He played some of this season too
Their math is off by 3 seasons. Lol He’s only played 15 seasons which is still good and he has not played this season (19-20).
Devin got the perfect life. 6’3” not super swole so ppl aren’t gonna know he’s a pro athlete, but 18 years of NBA money????? Best of both worlds
Lol josh boone
Damn I didn’t know he was in for 18 years! He was a bucket on the nets
Guy had a nice career
I didn't even know he played that long.
Do Anthony cat barber wss suppose to be the next ai
He was nice in hs fr
He's still a really good offensive player in the G League, he can get highlights with the best of them just don't expect efficiency or consistency
noremaC he was suppose to be doing that in the league
@@kenzt3649 no doubt, hopefully he gets a chance at some point, only 25

Still waiting on that Karlton Hines joint !!!!!
Wow great idea or bogger smith
the season he was drafted was literally the first season handchecking was banned
BIG FACTS!! I’m from the mil also I thought devin Harris was going to be a bigger better Kevin Johnson! If stunted had a HOF he is 1st ballet!💯
He had a very successful career
Great slasher and cutter with some defensive chops. Injuries and being a sub-average shooter and playmaker lowered his ceiling considerably. But even as he aged, he'd still get lots of buckets just off of backdoor cuts and give and gos. Definitely had a very respectable and long career.
Kawhi has the creepiest laugh real talk.
#OnceaNetAlwaysaNet
Can you do josh chilldress
I remember it was either him or Jason Gardner for the Mavericks to pick a PG .. I think it was them may need some #FactCheck

Shut up idiot with the race crap. Overpaid, handed everything. Lucky black athletes. You are giving more opportunities than a white coach or player. Get over it
Correction, he's actually been in the league 16 years not 18. Still impressive though.
He has 18 seasons in the NBA, you can check his stats
18 seasons??!?!?!?!?! I don't know about that bruh.

So many players get drafted to teams and are not put i a position to be successful because the team tries to mold them away from their strengths
