Here's an interesting one. I heard that the rapper Cam'ron Cameron Ezike Giles said that he thinks he could average "14 points a game" in today's NBA. In highschool he played against guys like Stephon Marbury and Felipe Lopez and was supposedly top 25 in New York. On "All the Smoke" he said that he always use to "bust Stephon Marbury's ass" on the court. Could you do a deep dive and dispel the rumors and and what if anything stunted his growth? Love your videos.Thank you.
I didn't watch this video but wished Lakers would have kept him. Guy has has heart & played hard every game. From a real Lakers fan who's been to both forum & staples. Used to watch for free on local tv during showtime. Lol.
I remember when the Internet was saying he and Kyree Walker were the future of basketball. I wouldn't say "bust" but I'm surprised he hasn't made it yet. I used to watch him play in Reading years ago. He was really good.
I’m a die hard nets fan. I seen Lonnie play an entire season last year. He could get a bucket on almost anyone. He can create space. He can shoot consistently off dribble or catch and shoot. He can finish at the rim with an impressive layup/dunk package. If there’s an offensive drought from the bench, he’s constantly the water as the only reliable bench scorer. It’s just that Lonnie … idk man. I have no idea why he’s not on a nba bench. He can average a dozen off the bench in his sleep.
Hey could you do a segment of stunted growth teams that never won a national championship and guys didn’t go to the league like the 90’s virgins teams with Curtis staples and jr burrows and the Maryland teams with Exree Hipp
Yeah Lonnie would be a great 6th man on a high level championship team, I’ve seen him play in my city and he can score and pace the game for someone that’s not even a point guard and he can slam it on anyone with handled create his shots, great role player in the NBA but they don’t wanna give him a chance and it’s sad to see that for him
The problem with Walker is that scoring is the ONLY thing he does. He is not a good defender, dosent rebound and is not a good playmaker. If he is not scoring then you don't even realize he is in the game
He was supposed be what ANT Edwards is but the lack of consistency hurt his development. Spurs is not a bad structure but he needed development before playing. Even in college he should have gone to a NBA level college but choice the wrong path, simply put he should have had someone telling him to choose a better path.
The sad fact is once you're valued as a replacement level player your NBA future becomes a struggle to stay on a team. Turns out there's always plenty of guys available who can score on a decent percentage but also play a little D and get you some rebounds. Walker can pretty much only score. I like how his game looks, but he's kinda one dimensional and had 5 full NBA seasons to prove himself.
People in the comments saying all he can do is score he dosnt do anything else .. I forgot the nba was filled with two way players 😂 we can all name 50+ guys who are one way players
as james worthy said "college is where you put the reps in and develop your skills." hopefully nil deals will help players stay and develop bc potential and decent production aint enough to keep you in the league these days. at least for some. for some, if you dont hit the ground running and are clearly on pace to become a number 1 or 2 option...youre out. again, for SOME. iykyk bc no one can convince me that walker cant be 6th man for almost every team in the league
Utah Jazz, could use him, Denver, Philly…he is at least a guy to throw out there if nothing else is working, and I think if someone gave him the minutes and time he could be a plus defender too.
Hope he can find his way back. The talent is there.
Literally has all the physical tools, and a nice game to go with it. Can't believe he's not an important player for an NBA team.

Always pulled for Lonnie. I wondered what happened. Perfect explanation. Good Luck to him. Thanks!
I want Lonnie to succeed. He's too good to be on stunted growth albeit there is work to be done.
On the spurs this kid was inconsistent but when he had it going he was my favorite player😭

Do u blame Lebron 4 him being cut???
That Leap is Aesthetically Pleasing 🏀

The Heat should sign him. Need more scoring especially without Jimmy moving forward
Philly Team Final gets players to the league!
Is that you at the end of the video?

@jaleelmuhammad9659 because scoring is only one part of the game and he doesn't do anything else.
@@T-Addlike so many other mf’s so we gone act like everyone in the nba is two way elite players or rebounders I can name 50+ 1 way players
@modestphillips Name them then
That hair of his though... it rocked! 😊
Do one on arksansas' bj young, one of the fastest players ive ever seen
Hey could you do a segment of stunted growth teams that never won a national championship and guys didn’t go to the league like the 90’s virgins teams with Curtis staples and jr burrows and the Maryland teams with Exree Hipp
Do Mark Macon from Temple
The 25 years old was Pennsylvania Mr basketball 🏀 in 2017 only 27 big typo
I thought he would at least be a Terrence Ross like scorer off the bench for a team, hope he can comeback

Do Dariq Whitehead !
5 star from Duke

If he is not scoring then you don't even realize he is in the game
With his quickness and wingspan you would think he would be a good defender.
Defense and rebounding is a mindset just as much as scoring and dunking is. I expected much more from him.
So we gone act like the nba is full of two way players 😂
@modestphillips it's not but it's full of guys who try.

Denver Nuggets
Yo bro what’s the music in the background
Let’s get a stunted growth for Ben Simmons

The Lakers giving him a bunch of DNP'S hurt him a lot.
THIS!!!! As a Laker fan, he held it down when EVERYONE was hurt. Should’ve given him a three year deal and let him stay
This generation is soft. FOH with these lame excuses
L walker and m fultz got alot in common
How?
Hate to say it but cam reddish next
People in the comments saying all he can do is score he dosnt do anything else .. I forgot the nba was filled with two way players 😂 we can all name 50+ guys who are one way players
He should join the Wolves
Lonnie nice
No
Glad he cut that shit off
He's still a thug

@@Marc-n5e interesting analysis
He didn't really get a true shot...

I forgot about bro 🤔
Started his career with that stupid hairstyle
He reminds me of Clyde Drexler by how he runs the floor.
🐂💩
