Segu too small! Mikey W has to mature mentally! Farrakhan may have a chance but it depends how he does at WVU & he has to bulk up a bit! Just my opinion! 🙏🏿
A big problem is these guys feel themselves way too much before they ever do anything. The first real reality check they get is not making it to the NBA or not having the success they imagined. By the time they grasp they’re shortcomings or see themselves fall behind it’s too late; all the guys they were better than in high school or college worked hard and developed something while a lot of these highlight hoppers get complacent. A huge part of being great is knowing how to work from a disadvantage, come back better from losses, and accept the need to grow. All of this is born out of humility.
The problem I always saw with Mikey was that he showed early signs of filling out. I'm 6'2" and have been so since the age of 16, but was much more slender than him. Yet we both have rather short arms, so that combined with his muscularity did not bode well. Much of his game is predicated on overpowering skinny teenagers. Segu is probably the best pro candidate out of the three.
@@jterry414AAU ball is different today than in the 90's, like your highschool coach was the person a college coach would keep in contact with, he was the gate keeper, now the gate keeper is the AAU coach, AAU is big business now
That's what happens when high schoolers are treated like celebrities in America. No high school sport treats their athletes like celebrities like high school basketball players get treated. They don't know how to work when they get a million followers. When they get to college, they get exposed by normal guys who know how to play college level ball. After that, they want to transfer to a coach who favors them like that's the reason lmao. That's not how the real world works let alone the NBA. Some guys have it, but the vast majority of guys who are famous in high school will become less than average NBA players who no one talks about anymore. It's crazy to me, as a European, how American kids can transfer to all these different high schools just to play a sport, and in the hopes that they will get drafted in the NBA. They have no respect and then everyone wonders why they couldn't make it lmao. It's easy to play against normal kids who know they won't make the NBA in high school, but when you put these kids in a concentrated environment where everyone is there because they have skill, they get exposed.

The two problems with these RUclips sensations are that players can look great in HS, but don't have an NBA position and the highlights can obscure their deficiencies (like shooting, passing, ball-handling, defense).
I think Mikey Williams will have the most promising career because he is the best but it is also about network. His father's Vertical Academy has given Trey Parker a spotlight. He is now on Drifty Elite with Bryce James. Mikey has also played with Bronny. Also he started with Overtime that created the Overtime Elite. Look at Emoni Bates who left Memphis for EMU, got a gun charge and still got drafted. If your network is big enough, they will find a spot for you.

Mikey is a scorer tho and horrible on defense who is putting him on the floor. there are much better scores in the nba way more efficient and better shooter.
Mikey Williams being a shorter scoring guard reminds me of Donovan Mitchell, who's also a shooting guard in a 6'1 body. What is it that separates Mikey from D. Mitch as undersized 2 guard prospects? When I see Donovan on the court, he looks to be around 6'4, which was surprising when i found out he was barely 6'1. Mikey, even though he's listed to be an inch taller at 6'2, seems smaller compared to Donovan. Other than that, what else am I missing on their differences as prospects as to why Donovan became a top Nba prospect? Based purely on basketball standpoint and not his off court issues, does Mikey has the same potential as an undersized 2-guard similar to Donovan Mitchell?

I seen his stats did he actually play good in summer league or was it just empty stats?
And the band played on
mikey williams got snubbed for bronny james
Idk having Mikey on here like he isn’t a freshman in college doesn’t seem right
Then you didn't watch the video
For segu his issue really was just a lack or size & below average shooting from range, eerybody else has real holes in their game
Shoulda added DAMON HARGE
Mikey could be the next Jalen Green but he chose to be a 🤡
Idk if that’s the right comparison at all… Jalen went the prep school route, Mikey was transferring consistently. Athleticism yeah they’re similar. but it’s 2 completely diff situations with both of them. & Jalen was an all American while Mikey had more clout and hype on his side but was never an all American according to rankings
Mikey, in a way, plays for the highlight… Jalen, in HS, plays to win cause he played with other all Americans
What did he do
Mikey always seemed like a cocky clown
You sound like a hater.
Sharife Cooper....stunted growth next
Personally I thought he should have stayed in college another year
@@johndavis9321 Would been college superstar and with the nil money he would make more than a undrafted NBA player
Who is that
@@andrebryant5081 plus I think his game needed more development particularly offensively
@@baconeggcheesepodcast9390 Look Him Up
Noah’s growth wasn’t stunted he’s just being black balled like Chris Jackson(mahmoud abdul-rauf) was because of who his grandfather is
Who is his grandfather?
@@frizzylowkee9053Louis Farrakan, leader of The Nation of Islam....
@@mistermann3225 dang all these years I seen the last name but never thought they were related
@@frizzylowkee9053 neither did I until I looked it up. The last college basketball player that I knew was related to Farrakhan was a player that played for Virginia years ago. I don't remember his first name....
He isn't good enough stop lying
Mikey Williams is about 6'1". There's no way is he 6'3" lol.
Mikey got screwed though. His career going left didn’t have much to do with his game.
Yeah, he was falling down the rankings even before he caught that charge.
Mikey Williams just graduated high school. He hadn’t even had a chance to play in college yet. Right? So how can he be stunted growth already?
He might be going to prison
@@andrebryant5081not happening buddy.
Nah he's on the Memphis roster right now, he most likely will be playing.
@@andrebryant5081
I didn’t know about that before I watched the video. So that does change things.
I thought bro in the middle was NBA youngboy😊
Stop getting your hands tatted before you make it to the NBA! You got to get the bag bag first
Shabazz Muhammad!
Mikey was definitely good wnough to be a McDonald's all american...Doesn't mean much though many McDonald's all americans didn't turn out to be the best players later on , snd many who weren't turned out to be great players!
Mikey 6’1
Longest intro ever hurry up bro
