    I just took two classes with Ken Oliver, while he was in Northern Californa, using his Color Bursts. He now has 12 colors available. Ken was so much fun and taught us how to use Color Bursts in so many ways. They are really easy to use. Love them!!! Colors are bright and I can't wait for more colors to come out. Thanks Sandy for all of your posts. You continue to inspire me and I have learned so much from you! : )

      +Sandy Allnock The colours that you have are the "Bright" colours, the other six colours are the "Earth" colours, with a brown in it as wel :)

    I got my new colors of Color Bursts last week. They are much more like fall colors I think. I got the Brusho also and have had a great time "playing" with both. I'm glad you're doing these videos because I want something else to do with them. Also, I love the idea of the thumb tack on the brushos. I just have a little pc. of tape and it keeps falling off! Love the way you put the color on the lid too. Keep up the great work!

    I keep watching your videos over and over again. I can't decide which colors I like the best. I am an aspiring artist, so I think I'll try both. If I come up with any revelations, I hope I can share them with you. The USA and UK doesn't bother me as I have found the Brits to be great crafters and have become acquainted with Sara Davies and her Crafter's Companion products.

    You make awesome videos! I always feel like my work can look artistic even though I'm just using my stamps. A trick I learned from Beverly Anderson was the use of aluminum rivets in place of the tacks; smaller, inexpensive from the hardware store, and works great!

    Another issue is the price. I was just looking at an online shop that had these Colorburst which were only a few bottles and they cost the same as I paid for a box with almost all of the Brusho colors. I don't understand why there has to be such a difference in price and if I heard right there is much more in a Brusho bottle then the Colorburst. Thank you for doing the video!!

  • @FanVidder72

    Clever idea with the thumb tack in the lid. Am I correct in thinking that the Ken Oliver powders are finer grains? I notice that my Brushos are more gritty. They don't appear to be very powder-like. Thanks for the great video.

    • @SandyAllnock1
      @SandyAllnock1  8 лет назад +3

      Yes, there is a different consistency. I like the Brusho better the more I use it, because it doesn't poof out of the bottle across my desk 😍

    • @SandyAllnock1
      @SandyAllnock1  6 лет назад

      They both work the same. Brusho needs to have the holes poked, Colorburst you just shake the bottle. Brusho is more granular, Colorburst is smoother. Brusho colors are more earthy, colorburst brighter. Basically just what I said in the video I guess 😀

      I agree. If u want brown use bistre, no matter what u mix thats what u get...yellow and blue should make green, but nope
