Here is a tip to consider. When I bought these last year I used a push pin inserted into the center of each lid. Then when I want to use it, I pull the push pin out and have a very tiny hole to sprinkle small amounts out. It was the only way I could think of to be able to control the amount that comes out. Hopeful this helps someone else.
Yes, I show that towards the end of the video. :-) Almost a must for me as otherwise you could have a giant mess on your hands~ :- These were a lot of fun~
@@DebbieWalkerArtmadeeasy I did see that you mentioned the push pins toward the end! The pins are a life saver for me…. Or else I would have Brusho all over my house, carpet and yard most likely!! lol!
I did and do the same. Poke a hole in the middle of the top. Easy to control the amount. No need to open the top, which is risky...can easily spill or you get too much.
Debbie, I love watching you paint and listening to your narratives. My grandma was an artist and art teacher and I miss her. Although I’m sure I’m at least twice your age, I think of you as grandma.😋
Im probably older than you think! like minds friend. Im thrilled to be known as Grandma, that is so special, beautiful., I adored my Grandma, she was everything to me! Im glad you enjoy my ramblings lol. Cracks me up what comes to me sometimes. Happy painting beautiful artist.

LOL! Yes that's perfect, definitely a party in a box. Can be very messy. It is interesting because it comes out multiple colors although once you blend them they become the color they say they are. So much fun to work with either way~ I hope you give them a try. Have fun most of all!
@@DebbieWalkerArtmadeeasyI have the exact same set of colours! They are a bit pricey if you get them individually…approx $15-22 each, but this set cost me about $70 for 8 colours. I’m just starting to play a bit with them. Glad I learned about the pin trick before I got them! ☺️
Right??? I know I am going to have to hide my wallet? I say the same thing! Thank God I get a few small things here and there, hopefully one day ill be noticed by a BIG company! lol And they will give me fun products! Meanwhile I just also bought the irridescent Brusho set?!! shhhhh

I wouldn’t have dared to try and tip it out of tub . I’d have it everywhere ! Before I bought pins to pierce lid I used to use a fine ultra dry brush to apply it . Will have to dig these out again .
Yes, I thought about it halfway through the video, and then shared the best way, (safest way) is to stick a push pin into the lid and sprinkle out from there :-) Pouring it out could definitely be disastrous! Definately dig them out, I have been having so much fun with them! My fingers have been constantly glowing a pinkish hue though :-[)
Discoloured fingers is par for the course for me with ink pads , alcohol inks etc . Since I rarely get out of the house I don’t care and my carers know of my crafty compulsion . Those glittery watercolours I was swatching a few days ago took a couple of washes to get rid of but the water I was washing my brushes in was pretty lovely .@@DebbieWalkerArtmadeeasy
Julie yes! Our crafty compulsion is the perfect word. I have found those inkpads do the same and very much worth it! I feel like it is the sign of a true artist to have ink, glitter on me!
Wonderful, yes they are really bright! I thought great for landscapes as well, and my first playing with them was for just that. There are other ways to use them though that are fun., I will share another tutorial or two and share a bit ore what I do. I hope this inspires you to get them out and play! Wonderful Sabine! I'm thrilled this inspired you, I have had this Brusho watercolor crystals for a year and just getting the opportunity to play with them, and they are so fn. be careful though use a pushpin in lid to sprinkle out they can bet dangerously messy! But fun. :-)
Thank you Indian, I Hope you give it a try, such an interesting and fun medium to play with, and lots of ways to paint with it. Don't forget the push pins in the top. Have fun most of all.
So much fun! I have some of these. Be careful not to sit near an open window or around a fan. It goes eveywhere. I think someone said not to get it on your skin so I stoped using it. I'll have to check it out again. So pretty. Thanks.
LOL Yes, thank you for that Ann, great tip. I did get a bit on my skin although I washed it off and it came off pretty easy. Ill google that too, if it is toxic, or just that it can stain for a day. Thanks you Ann for the thoughts! Good stuff
such gawjus colours Debbie…..thank you for sharing your foray into Brusho….so delighted for this tutorial…..onwards and upwards to delightful exploration ❤🎉❤

It is so much fun!! Im so glad I think you will have fun with them, I will also share more ways Im playing with them. they are quite unique. A salt shaker would be great too! Be careful it does come out easy and boy can it be a mess. (Part of the fun maybe??)
Yes, I typically tap and let it sprinkle out, but thought I better show the push pin tip because I can see how it can pour out in a huge blob, and wow, what a mess! I hope you give it a try! so much fun xo

The brusho is awesome to use. The only thing is it wouldn't be good if you sale your watercolor paintings because if they ever got wet after its dry the whole painting would be ruined?? You couldn't wax the finished painting and you wouldn't be able to use the spray finish on the painting so the only thing you could use this brusho for is just playing around??? Cool colors though! I like how they are different colors. Have fun. 😊 JK FLORIDA USA 🇺🇸.

Why don’t you punch a small hole into the lid with a pug pin so you can control how much crystals come out of the container. Opening the lid and try to get a mall amount onto the paper is too risky of pouring too much.
