Look up Ward Jene Stroud if you want to see the true potential of Brusho painting - & also how you can gain some control of the crystals. I painted a beautiful dragonfly inspired by his & using his sprinkling technique & was so pleased with the result. Enjoy the chaos! But beware that the crystals literally get everywhere!!! If you are sprinkling generously, try using a shallow box to contain them. Or ensure you mist your surface with water to clean it & you’ll find out how sneaky they are at escaping lol.
Looks like a major storm is brewing. Very cool. I have some brushos that I won and still haven’t used them. Not sure why because they look like a lot of fun. Kind of like alcohol inks. Your picture came out great.
You always come up with such interesting techniques and products. I wonder how much difference there is with Brusho versus w/c pencils used with a tea strainer? Which do you think "melt" better? Just curious - you always get me thinking! TFS
Hi Sandy I am fairly new to your videos Brusho particularly sparked my interest How ever I cannot find the rest of your videos I found the one that introduces but you speak of two others Then I found the one landscape with dramatic sky and farm buildings that you used bleach in Could you direct me to the others or send a link please?
What a spectacular painting! Looks like you spent hours creating the sky & foreground instead of sprinkling Brusho magic. Does bleach affect the archival quality?
Yes the brushes would get eaten. Use old ones, I also have some formerly-good ones that finally started to lose bristles and jeep those for crazy uses like this.
Love the sky
This is just wonderful ❤
Would love to see more brusho paintings like this,. Really gives me the confidence as a non artist to give this a go.
Oh Sandy! My 84 year old father loves barns! He would love this painting!
This is wonderful. It looks like a tropical storm blowing in over the farm
Love your painting!
I just bought several jars of Brusho and wasn't sure where to begin; thank you, Sandy!!!

Enjoyed the painting & tips. LOVE Brusho, it’s fascinating to watch the various pigments in the powder to bloom. Even more fun than heat embossing
This is fabulous.
I can't wait to break out my Brusho again! Thanks, Sandy! Inspirational as always.
Awesome ❤

Brusho is super concentrated-many times the pigmentation of pencil shavings. But sorta the same idea on a different scale.
@@SandyAllnock1 Thanks for the feedback.

Probably does, but I don’t really have ANYthing in Brusho that I want to last forever LOL
@@SandyAllnock1 Shame as it’s beautiful!
Sand please link that white tape, found some white on Blick but I do not think it’s the same. Thanks in advance
What kind of brushes do you use with the bleach. Can the bleach cause your brushes to deteriorate?
Yes the brushes would get eaten. Use old ones, I also have some formerly-good ones that finally started to lose bristles and jeep those for crazy uses like this.
I've had paper artsy powders forever and need to pull them out! Thanks for sharing this technique!
Ditto!
I am concerned that the bleach will eat into the paper. Need i worry?
I didn’t. You might try a small piece and see what you think. Try a little bleach on one area and a lot on another and see what happens.
Thankyou. That's good just wondered.
Just keep using that paper till it’s dead
🤣
U have to get a leash with Brusho … or let them run free 😅
Take ‘em fir a walk or let ‘em run🤣
