Hi Cally, I love the way you do your trees. I'm thinking of trying it using ink and a twig since I don't have the pen. The Brusho just adds a kiss. Thanks for sharing .
Hi Diane, thanks for watching, glad you liked it. You may also like to watch this video on making pens from twigs ruclips.net/video/g_YTU3heHA4/видео.html You could also try feathers. Have fun with your painting 🎨🙂
I love it. wonderful technique. What about music? Just a thought as I was watching. I still would love to play around with Brusho it looks fun and free flowing.
+Sarah sarah Hi Sarah, thanks for watching. I use Arches 140lb hot pressed watercolour paper. I'm sure yupo will be fine, I haven't used yupo myself, but do use ink and brusho on mixed media paper. Avoid papers that are too absorbent, the brusho can sink in and look duller.
Hi, thanks for watching. In this video, I use a traditional dip pen to do the drawing and a round synthetic brush to add water later. Some of the other paintings I showed and some on my website are drawn using the dropper in the Daler Rowney acrylic ink pots or with my own home made twig pens. ( I have a video coming out soon on how to make twig pens).

Hi can I ask what applicator you are using to paint the trees?
