I love using brusho when making cards as I can stamp on top of the coloured background in black which is very effective. You could also use black watercolour paint to paint silhouettes of trees etc. The possibilities are endless.

Just brilliant - no stopping you now. Thanks for the great tips. I have one to create bubbles for an undersea background: - whip up some foam from washing up liquid - spread about an inch thick over your paper (you need a heavy weight 300 gsm+ as it gets very wet) - SPARINGLY (really - not much at all) sprinkle a mix of blues, greens and even a little yellow Brusho over the bubbles ... and wait PATIENTLY!! As the bubbles pop the Brusho lands on the paper and dries to look just like the foam itself - you may need to practice a few times - but it is really magical once you have mastered it. 😉🤩
Thank you so much Chris for your amazing suggestion!!! I think I will need to practice, but it sounds so much fun! Everyone loves Brusho! Thank you again so much for your suggestion and support!! :)😁
I just love your expressive comments when watching how the Brusho reacts to the water! It makes me laugh, too, because I get it! Thanks for the great tutorials you provide!

Never heard of Brusho until I watched your tutorials. Love the effects you can get with it! Now I am going to have to purchase some! Thanks for another great tutorial !
Brush is great for intense colors and experimental painting. I have painted three 24 by 36 abstract color field paintings on gessoed canvas that turned out splendidly…and all three sold. Once dry, several applications of spray varnish, let dry then brush on an additional varnish.
Brusho with the lid off is analagous to Fight Club! You do not talk over Brusho, you do not cough over Brusho and you do not, ever, sneeze over Brusho! Easy to overuse (I didn't intend to turn my cat painting blue!) but wonderful effects even for a complete beginner like me.
Loving your tutorials and the way you use watercolor painting. As you say it's fun to experiment and not have to much structure. Loving it all. Thank you for all the ideas of using different materials
I had to buy some after watching your primrose tutorial, it arrived really quick. I had so much fun loved it and my primroses turned out really well. Thanks for introducing me to Brusho 😊👍🏻
Thank you so much for this! I’ve had brusho for a while and hadn’t managed to use them very effectively until now, had almost regretted buying them. I’m anxious to give them another try with this information.
I have been having so much fun watching you with all the special techniques....and then I’ve given some a run... not an artist by any stretch of the imagination, just having fun ... thanks for all the tutorials, very inspiring

Thank you Karen. I hadn’t heard of Brusho until I saw one of your tutorials. Mine arrived today. I’m looking forward to trying it out. ‘Let’s get started!’ Loved the sunflowers in the background by the way.
Thank you for sharing this very informative tutorial. It's Wonderfull explained and appreciate the many ways you provided so one can use it to achieve the look they're after. I am excited to start experimenting with brush. Thank you again Karen.
So I finally got around to watching the end of your tutorial and I am amazed at the results you got on your little greeting card. It was so quick and simple yet absolutely gorgeous and bright. Wow I have to get more colors of the brusho now. Ugh so sad that I didn't purchase more back in 2021 before prices went up on literally everything. Thanks Karen!
Amazing! And HOW FUN!! Each practice looks like an individual piece. When I stare at them they are like a Rorschach test. Ha ha! Thank you Karen. I have to add, corny as it sounds from this American. I LOVE your accent. You sound so elegant!

Wow thanks for showing the different ways of using it Karen, first of me hearing about it was last week when you used it in your primroses tutorial. This might have to be my next purchase 😉🙂
A very illuminating tutorial indeed (intended). Thank you. In cases like this, it would be quite nice to see a good resolution still photo of the finished greeting card at the end of the video so that we can pause it and observe the effect in detail. But, very well done!
