OMG I'm so glad I am not the only one who feels that way about the next day feeling as if you never painted before lol...Great video, thanks for explaining things so well.
Yes, I never realized why this was happening. 2024 felt like I didn't know how to paint any more. I was disappointed with nearly every painting. This is very encouraging.
Thank you for the video! Although I have been painting for a long time, I still struggle with loose brush work and overpainting. I will follow your tips. You are a great artist❤❤
I don't know how this video came into my RUclips feed - but within a minute into it, I registered for the webinar! After retirement from engineering after 30 years, I felt I should try painting which I loved as a young boy. All of painting efforts in 2024 were trepidation and an inability to bring what I have in my head onto the paper or canvas - but what you had to say in this video seems to show me an opening to how I might do it. Looking forward to tomorrow's webinar :)
Delightful work! Thank you for the perfect-timing “Oh, yeah” in studio-research & brushwork-focus, which is the true communication of master work. I wish I’d tuned into your Monday webinar. Thank you so much!
If she followed Howard Lyons usual process, besides just using a reference of his, then she most likely used Photoshop for the mock up. Easy way to put your reference together in a way you like it, without having a ton of reference pictures in another window.
I do! You can apply to work with me through this link bit.ly/4fTXiG8 , but if you sign up for tomorrow's webinar I'll also be going over how to work with me during the session, so I'd definitely sign up if you haven't already! The link to register is bit.ly/3C3euLA :) I'm excited to see you there!
I’ve been painting for almost 6o years. Been teaching emergency medicine for about 40 years. I listened to you for 3 minutes. You spoke words like vision and, vision board and 2025. I couldn’t listen much longer. You might be a good artist but your teaching is so soft as to be nothing but fluff. Sorry.

Which Sargent paintings did you use as reference, or recommend? Nicely done portrait! Easy to follow your painting style ❤

Haha, I'm so glad you feel like you're not alone in that feeling! It's a common struggle! 😂
I feel that way some days I paint like a 5 yr old 😂 and others like a master 😮😮😮😂😂
Great tips she gives in this video

another great video! Very helpful information. I have been feeling the same lately. Thank you!
So glad it's helpful! And you're definitely not alone! 🎨
How did you create the mock up? You started with a reference photo, but did you work on it in Photoshop to get it where you wanted it or what? Thanks

This is correct! I basically experiment with adding a bunch of brushwork and colors until I like how the mockup looks. :)
@@ChelseaLangwhat about those of us who aren’t so tech savvy? Lol I have no knowledge of photo shop
Please help those of us who aren’t able to use photo shop … thanks 😊

Como puedo escuchar el audio original si es que es en inglés?
Hi Chelsea, I have couple of question about your program is there an email where I can send them? Amazing work!!
Yes of course! It's info@chelsealang.com :) I look forward to hearing from you!
I realize I’m not a professional artist. I have drawn a good portrait once, but it’s like you performed a miracle and then said, “ You can do this.” 😅
"Dieser Fall wird mich noch lange begleiten. 🧠"
