Cutler training videos and tips always lead to gains for me when I follow his advice. Even if it's a repeat of something I picked up from one of the old Muscular Development articles and forgot about over the years, being reminded about it in a video is motivating! Just wish the videos were longer
This video is really well done! Even better cinematography, editing, music selection/placement than most of the other videos on this channel so far. And Jay seemed much more fluid in speaking to the camera -- always good, now even better!!
yeah his "prime" is definitely behind him but by his appearance you'd think he would be capable of a successful comeback more so than almost everyone he competed with in his hay day at least.
Jay i want to thank you so much for what you've done for the bodybuilding community through all these videos and articles. They helped me so much and you're the only pro bodybuilder with these amount of informational videos !
Thanks a lot for making these videos Jay. I love your philosophy and training style over many other pro bodybuilders. Every time I watch your videos it just confirms to me that I'm doing the right thing and that with time and consistency, I will reach my fitness goals.
Wow, I recently started doing STANDING rear delts on the pec deck machine because I felt they activated the muscles more than sitting. Now, I find out that Jay has been doing them for several years. Needless to say, Jay is one of my go-to guys when it comes to learning how to weightlift with proper form.
Great workout. And guys make sure those pins are secured in the incline benches. I got a nasty injury once when the pin popped out of a bench and the weight crushed my chest. Always double check it especially with older benches.
I'm the same age as Jay, this workout is surprisingly realistic and I don't have any Sandows so very inspiring for an old natty dude who wants to stay strong and healthy.
Awesome video content shoulders are huge! Mr Cutler still getting after it, the details are amazing @ the end get a little pause, tension good stretch , high volume incorporates free weights etc.
No gyms I've been to have a pec deck at 8:45 to do rear delts. A few used to but got rid and replaced with a more modern version that you're unable to use in the position as he is. It's the best exercise to target them, in my opinion, so my rear delts are somewhat lagging! 😤
DimebagVision , that's why it's important when you train mind muscle connection. Don't get me wrong, Ronnie is incredible, but he lifted heavy unnecessary weight. He trained like a power lifter, not a bodybuilder. How he won 8 Olympias honestly I don't know.
Wow really... kinda how he won 8x. Besides back then dosing wasn't as insane as it is now and things like clen, t3 and DNP weren't as popular. Back then diet, tren and mast were probably the extent of cutting.
A really nice man in a big body...heis perhaps one of the most humble bodybuilders on the planet...wish him all success and good health throughout his life...
Cooler sympathischer Mensch!!🇩🇪⚔️🇩🇪und seine Form eine der besten und beständigsten in dem Sport, Akkurat auch sein feines Training ⚔️Jay Cut 🗡️ ler ⚔️ die Klinge,
Love the content, Jay! Requesting if you can do a vlog on dealing with injuries? Have you ever had to deal with tennis elbow, and if so, how did you overcome it? I'm dealing with it now, but am having a difficult time with it.
Vincent Gambini stretching is key, I’ve had that problem too and I noticed when I did rope pull downs b4 any tricep workouts and focused on the stretch low weight 4 sets and it helped my joint discomfort
I have watched a lot of Jays workouts. He seems to have a small range of motion with chest and shoulders. I am natural. Is it better to do a larger range of motion or is a smaller range of motion better? It may have nothing to do with enhanced or not, but can anyone provide feedback on what’s optimal? I know you aren’t supposed to lock out on chest, or it works your triceps. Just curious for some feedback, thanks!!
Yeah generally speaking you should do full range of motion but it also depends on the exercise and how the exercise feels for you. Hes just a very experienced lifter and he limits his range of motion to focus on the hardest part of the lift
Jay is my favorite Bodybuilder. He said early on that his goal was to retire early and remain healthy. He's the thinking man's bodybuilder, a great ambassador to the sport and a buddy of mine is close friends with Jay and he's every bit as nice as he appears. Chop buster to a fault, but he's a great guy. Class act.
He has a hundred more competitions left. But zero wins unfortunately. Outside of an "old guy" competition he's probably not gonna be able to keep up. He would crush an old guy competition hands down.
I'd rather watch 1 video of Jay Cutler's Workout in 2 months and get a pro knowledge " thanks Jay" than wasting my time watching a video every other day from self proclaimed RUclipsr that will Never BEAT A PRO because he hasn't been one! QUALITY over QUANTITY .
I’ve lifted with some big dudes (no where compared to jay) but their muscles are already so large that they were getting the full contraction in the respective muscle without the full range like I’ve had to do. I notice when I’m doing tricep pulldowns I get more of a pump when I don’t go through the entire motion rather than the whole motion. I have issue getting a good pump in my triceps so I’ve been doing different stances, ranges of motion, movements etc to find what works best. Everyone has their own body type that allows certain exercises to get a good pump in and other that don’t.
I really appreciate the great content Mr. O. Thank you. The only way you could make this video better would be to lose the super-annoying music. It's too loud compared to when you're speaking and I have to constantly turn it down to avoid being embarrassed. Just some constructive criticism. Good luck with the channel. You deserve a million subs.
I don't get the way he does those rear delt cable cross overs, he's sort of pulling them back with bent arms... looks like it's more of a back workout... I always try to keep my arms straight with the cables at shoulder height... I mean obviously what he's doing works lol but I don't get it at all
I think Jay is going to make a come back. Maybe 2019 or 2020. He States he don't have the drive but down deep in there he has it, otherwise he would have not won Mr. O 4 times.
Smartest bodybuilder, not just because of his training but how he planned his retirement as a healthy guy and he’s financially set for life.
Right?! And he's still in EXCELLENT shape

Jay is having a good retirement. Glad life is treating him well
jays the man. you always hear about dexter not aging but damn man what about jay, he holds like no age what so ever in the face its nuts
TiZzLe the majority of people his age look worn out in the face and he's in his mid 40's
Jesse Carr lots of exercise and low stress
yeah his "prime" is definitely behind him but by his appearance you'd think he would be capable of a successful comeback more so than almost everyone he competed with in his hay day at least.
Jesse Carr white people his age looks older
He should try in Hollywood
Dude looks amazing
Jason Daywalker, absolutely would love for champ to train me. You know I'll learn alot. Mind muscle connection good pump.

Jay is my fav bb of all time. Whenever I hit a plateu at the gym I tune in and listen to some of his advice and I always break my plateu.
Jay is so level headed. Great guy!
Awesome video content shoulders are huge! Mr Cutler still getting after it, the details are amazing @ the end get a little pause, tension good stretch , high volume incorporates free weights etc.

Massive respect to Jay most retired bodybuilders they not training any more they just back to a normal life but Jay he's a LEGEND
Long live Jay , thanks for all
Love Shoulder Day! Thx for the tips.
Jay looks surprisingly healthy for a retired Mister O. Just compare to someone like Ronnie.
LandoWSJ , Jay looks incredible after retirement, of course less injuries the Ronnie.
DimebagVision , that's why it's important when you train mind muscle connection. Don't get me wrong, Ronnie is incredible, but he lifted heavy unnecessary weight. He trained like a power lifter, not a bodybuilder. How he won 8 Olympias honestly I don't know.

Jay is the best. Learned a lot after watching him. I live in vegas (summerlin) I need to meet him.

Giving this routine a try tomorrow
i think he has one more competition left in him
He has a hundred more competitions left. But zero wins unfortunately. Outside of an "old guy" competition he's probably not gonna be able to keep up. He would crush an old guy competition hands down.
He has stated that he doesn’t have the drive to train that way again.
@@patrickharlow1098 looks better than 90% of society so who fuckin cares

Who better to take real bodybuilding advice from than the champ.
Jay Cutler: 3:45 "Don't cheat"
Also Jay Cutler: 3:48 (Quarter reps all day)
Still has huge shoulders
Jorge Lujan drugs take care of that cheating
420lifestyles no

Damn! He looks great again!
come on jay!! take of that shirt and pose at the end!
At great content Jay Mr.4x. Do you only have L and XL sizes in your gear?
I don't get the way he does those rear delt cable cross overs, he's sort of pulling them back with bent arms... looks like it's more of a back workout... I always try to keep my arms straight with the cables at shoulder height... I mean obviously what he's doing works lol but I don't get it at all
Ash Barnes its because it helps to pull thru the elbows instead of the hands so you get better activation in the rear delt
Ash Barnes focus on squeezing the delt rather than the traps and it will burn. Gotta have that mind-muscle connection son
Jay fly me out from Texas to come train with u.
thought you were gunna faint at 5:54
Thanks Mr Olympia 💪 you just perfect 👍
hey what are benefits for doing the hammer strength shoulder press reverse way?
9ineMan looks like you can really overload your front delts safely especially if you have some pre existing shoulder issues or injury
Less back support.
Hey Jay in my eyes you are the best bodybuilder in the World. love your channel. greetz from Austria💪💪💪💪
hiii jay i am you fan from algeria tell me you hahe same motivation to day like 10 years a go in gym to train ???

The video is great But the music is some of the worst i ve ever heard in my Life
Sheldon Cooper81 estupid music
