Now make another one, so you can race your friend. Then get a extra of the bumpers & cones, then you can make the track go outside as well as inside (when the weather is nice)
Challenge for you Andy? Build me an ebike with my old rock hopper but here's the challenge IAM skint and on universal credit I get £240 a month. Can you take the challenge???
I love topics on RC, the problem associated with this sport is the expense. The faster and more powerful the vehicles get, the more it looks like a "brilopad" after a crash. (Nothing salvageable). Right up me street this subject! Go play Andy 👌😎
Begin with a naked Vista to save weight and a full-time cooling fan. You can't put the air unit inside or it will overheat, but you can put the camera in place of the windshield to lower the centre of gravity. HDzero (Sharbyte) will be much better, lower weight and will run on lower voltage.
Them batteries also have a regulator circuit at the positive end. It stops the cell current dropping lower than 3v. And stops charge past 4.20v. I have the AA versions. Moving onto lipo life, and lifepo4 diy solar.
@@andykirby when you charge them again and hits the same higher voltage, check the current, if it says zero, the charge-phase has elapsed and the battery is no longer accepting charge. The charger might be (timed). Usually 4.20v when the bms cuts out.

why dont you parrell both sides ie still 4 bats but running 2p 2s
Yes, good idea... thought about doing this, maybe later 👍🏻
@@andykirby thought it made sense seens the batt config is kind of wonky anyway
You make everything you do fun and interesting. Great video and music Andy!

I'm not sure these ones are as they hit 4.5 volts on that charger the other day... whoops!
