I recently discovered overnight oats and have made the most delish combo. Blended steel cut oats with chia seeds, peanut butter powder, almond milk and agave syrup! I also added a teaspoon of chocolate protein powder but in that case i would eliminate the agave so it’s not too sweet. Super good. Top with your favorite berries!!
Add some greek yogurt!!! Lots of protein. Calling a bowl of milk and seeds a meal is insane! I usually add hemp and chia seeds on a bowl of greek yogurt and a good amount of fruit. Even then so l, i usually have a protein shake too. Together they will satisfy me until lunch. Im a hungry babe tho 🤷♀️
@@Romerix11 for me I need a lot more than yoghurt, seeds, milk and fruit. My digestive fires are burning everything so fast that I need some grain to feel full
So many options make this recipe fit for almost any palette, or what’s available one’s home. On timing, I want my chia seeds to be very soft, so let them soak in the liquid longer. ❤
Yes it’s more like an healthy dessert it didn’t even kept me full even though i added more protein i wouldn’t do it again as a breakfast oatmeal is a way better option and it keeps me full maybe try that out
Only the best breakfast ever! Fiber, protein, fat (maybe from milk), and all the nutrients and antioxidants from the fruit?! I could (and do) eat this every day!! 😅
I can’t use frozen fruits anymore . Sadly a local factory had frozen fruits shipped out that were contaminated with Hep A. I guess it’s time to start growing my own fruits (:
these are "Weck" jars, it's a German brand, and they are intended to be used for preserves, like compott, jam, etc. I have no idea though, where you would buy them in other countries (I'm in Austria, and here they are sold at every kitchen supply store, but I also inhereted about 100of them from my mother & grandmother.) These exact jars are especially great, cause the jars get wider towards the opening, and are also suitable for preserving breads, or cakes in them. But for this specific use they are kind of a waste, since regular reused twist lid jars work imo better to freeze. These containers ate meant to withstand a lot of heat and the lid, when used with the red rubber seal ring will be held on with vacuum only, after the content has been cooked for preservation, and the lottle metal clamps are only there while they are heated, usually. so in this context.a regular jar with twist lid is more practical, imo. but the esthetic is nice of the Weck jars. I hope you can find them in your area. ❤
@@sayyndie 17 grams of protein in 100 grams of chia seeds. She added a teaspoon of chia seeds in each jar. Teaspoon is 4-6 grams. Hence, less than one gram of protein from chia seeds in one jar. Cow milk has even less protein. In total, one serving of such "cereal" gives max 8-10 grams of protein (that probaly will include a tablespoon of any nut butter). It is recommended to have 20-25 grams of protein in one meal. And you can't catch up on protein with your next meal because it is hard to assimilate large amount of protein all at once. So yes, it is a key to know the exact amount of nutrients you are getting from your meal. I like precision because I work out a lot and need all my nutrients accurately assessed.

Just an FYI, if you don't like bitter. Chai seeds in the fridge get a much stronger bitter flavor. If you don't mind them but find them a little bitter, don't do this.

What are the ingredient measurements
I’d probably plop in a heaping tablespoon of plain Greek yogurt for extra protein.
Can this be taken in between meals or only at night?
Can you say what the cal count for one jar
Why pb powder instead of regular pb?

I love that you found a way that the berries aren’t refrozen because they’re added last. Love this. Thank you. 🎉
You are so welcome!
I added sliced almonds, and a sprinkle of coconut…delicious! Thank you!
I love this but I like Bananas and almond butter on mine. Coconut whip on top of chocolate chia pudding is a dessert craving hit too. 😋

Great recipe, but you skipped the important part. You put in the fridge for 4 hours so the chia will be ready and then the freezer?
The frozen fruits is a smart idea
