I used to work for the EPA and let me tell you, they do NOT care about the environment, they care about how many fines they can hand out to us peasants. The EPA has become one of the worst wastes of tax money and one of the biggest laundering sites for the controlling elite scum.
You are crazy! Lol. ATF isn't meant for combustion, and although it might help with some lubrication, you still run a risk of damaging the engine over a long period of time, it might not hurt in right away, but some time or another it's not going to be beneficial for the entire engine over time. You can run a Diesel engine on Kerosene, heating oil and and a lot of them will run on bio-diesel, but ATF, no, I don't recommend it. I'm a certified Diesel Mechanic and I've worked on 6.9, 7.3 and 9.0 Diesel engines, and I've worked on Cummings, Detroit and a couple Cats, I've never heard of anyone running ATF in their engines. Like I said, automatic transmission fluid isn't meant for combustion engines, not to be ran all the time. Now, we used to dump some ATF down into the carburetor of a gas engine to help take the knock out of an engine, but never to run it in the fuel tanks of diesels on a daily basis 24/7.
@@roypatterson9910 I'm also a certified Ford diesel mechanic. I ran it for 5 years and well over 100,000 miles without any problems. Their are other techs in my old dealership who have been running it longer than I have. The amount I saved in diesel fuel will cover pretty much any injector or fuel system failures.
@@h8troodoh I don't notice any. Powerstroke tech talk with arod actually did a video on it a couple years ago. We showed dumping it in and starting up the truck and driving. No smoke was really seen
Don’t do it. There is no fuel pump to help the thicker fuel go through the filter so it’ll clog up easy. I ran engine oil mix in my little Yanmar & did they for a while until recently the filter kept clogging even tho it’s filtered to 2 microns. My truck uses the same fuel & since it’s got a fuel pump pump it can take it. Veggie oil will destroy it, I tried it on a 7.3 Powerstroke & it hurt the injectors.
Vegetable oil is more viscous than diesel fuel. To run it in a modern diesel engine requires preheating the veg oil with either an electric preheater or engine coolant heat exchanger
For the same price of a Yanmar one you can get a decent used Yanmar L70. I found a guy on Facebook & bought 3 Yanmar L70s each for $100 they need parts/fuel tank & fuel system. Got 1 to run & put it on my Sears suburban & another one will be going on my 82 212 in place of the old tired Kohler. The Kohler needs a rebuild, but I’m unsure what I’ll do w it next. I’ve got a 216 that’s not in as good of shape w bad writing harness so I’m deciding if I drop it in the 212 or 216. The 212 was a solid reliable tractor just burns a lot of oil.
A few months ago, I bought a Gimex 170F, 4 HP through Amazon Mexico for $500. Gimbel, the supplier, stocks parts, this is a Yanmar knock off, so Yanmar parts fit.
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time 'Til touchdown brings me 'round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home Oh, no, no, no I'm a rocket man Rocket man, burning out his fuse up here alone
This engine is for stationery use only. Unlike the 168F etc, this one will not lubricate itself properly in anything but a level, stationary environment! Don't put this on a minibike!
I like the crank rather than pull rope start
If someone finds (1)of these listed for a decent price? Please post a link! I really want the hand crank start version!
Totally Cool! Love that puff of jet black diesel exhaust. "EF" the E.P.A. !

A stack and a flapper
I've never seen one like that I've only seen the red and orange ones with pull start.
Where can I buy one at
What are these little diesels typically used for?
pumps, gen sets, tillers and everything in between
turbo it like hennessey did to the engine in your t-shirt haha

they will fire up backwards but not on purpose

Yeah... you have exhaust fumes coming out of the muffler... so you're good !
So will it run off kerosene?
How much does the engine cost ?
Let us know how long it last
Ok
I like it!!!! & I want one
I guarantee it will love automatic transmission fluid. Ive been running straight used ATF in my truck for years (97 7.3 powerstroke).
It’ll love ATF, engine oil, & anything except veggie oil.

Did you start on diesel, warmup, preheat engine oil prior to running through then shut down on diesel?
