- Accompany Kirby as he joins Edward and Eddie Sahakian for one of their favorite Havana rituals: a walk down Havana’s historic O’Reilly and Obispo streets from the Kempinski Hotel to Plaza de Arias. Edward and Eddie share with Kirby the many memories formed during their 30 years of traveling back to Havana annually for the Festival del Habanos.
Witness the fusion of past and present as we wander through Havana's eclectic avenues, where every corner tells a story. From the architectural grandeur of colonial buildings to the rhythmic pulse of street music, Havana reveals its character in layers, waiting to be explored. Edward and Eddie Sahakian, with their profound appreciation for Cuban culture and its famed cigars, offer insights that only true aficionados can
As we traverse the city, they share their personal connections to this place, intertwining tales of heritage with the sensory experiences of the present. This isn't just a tour; it's a journey through the soul of Havana, where every step unearths a deeper understanding of Cuban tradition and lifestyle. So come along and experience the city's heartbeat with us, on a walk that captures the essence of Havana's enduring charm.

Kirby’s amazing, but when Eddie enters the video magic tends to happen. The chemistry and friendship between the two makes for an enjoyable journey full of great banter and endless knowledge.
Couldn't agree more!
Agree!
I agree, Kirby is great, but The Sahakian's are on another level!!!
I love that everytime Kirby gets tongue twisted in his own gentlemanly phrasing Eddie just thanks him. Its the best.
Almost as good as when he repeats information he has heard from the Sahakians previously straight back to their face as if it came from him 🙃
@@Rowdy_UncleDave why do people do that? I've experienced it today twice. Why?
@@tombarac8253 momentary lapse in memory I guess
@@tombarac8253 its a known conversation tactic to make people feel like you are engaging. Repeating back what people say is taught for those reasons. It is also just unnatural in general to make videos and podcasts so its hard to criticize, he does a pretty good job overall. I just love the proper way they speak because that is somehow the sales culture around these products. Not quite the case for non-cubans.
@@ar007rI wouldn’t necessarily says it’s a tactic. If i repeat back what you said, I AM listening. Thereby lies proof
Eddie is a superstar. His hair is every gentlemans dream. But his demenour is his superpower.
28:15 I love that while Eddie goes to smell the soap, he realizes that Kirby didn’t smell the one he picked up so he hands it to him, and then takes the other one instead - what class!
Kirby, you are so fortunate to have friends like the Sahakians. Great video, as usual. Thanks.
Some may say that these videos go over the top with the civility. Yes we forget it is precisely because of the loss of this hallmark of a great civilization, that we have so many problems in the world today. When strong moral men act in a civilized manner then we progress as nations. Well done Kirby and Eddie for reminding us of this.
🙏🙏
Tell that to the Cuban regime in how it treats its own people
@@gabrielcastillo13 Whatever happened in Cuba, and I don’t want to downplay it, but Cuba has become truly an unique place where many aspects of society are superior to what is going on in the west. It is not a contest, but it’s just something to enjoy and appreciate. So we can be measured in our respons, like Kirby, Eddie and Edward. Again, that’s easily said without having the experience of living there, but I see so much I appreciate, so much I’d like to see in The Netherlands where I live. In the west smoking is under attack and sometimes we are under attack when smoking a cigar on the streets, yet in Cuba it is celebrated when you do it. So enjoyable!
Love the channel. Can anyone tell me what is the name brand of Kirby’s shoes??? Thank you. And god bless johnny w Philly 🌟✨🌟
They do but.......who doesn't love nostalgia of past times, when love was in the air...... Anything was possible..
Kirby dressed like he's ready to colonize the place.
The Spanish already colonised it.
🤣🤣
😂 along with Indiana Jones
Panama Jack
Haha, exactly. I also would suggest a more natural style of walking...
Edward and Eddie are just strolling, not much talking, just taking in the views and enjoying the moment. While Kirby never stops talking about a cigar. Lol
Kirby, the production value of these videos from Cuba matches the best TV travel shows. The quality is off the charts. Well done.
The editors really do a fantastic job. The amount of work they put into editing these videos in post production cannot be overstated.
I never knew what Camilla Cabelo meant with her lyrics "left my heart in havana" until I actually went and then LEFT havana. No place like it, truly magical. Highly recommend going. Incredible. Some of the poorest yet happiest and most peaceful people I have ever met on Earth.
Truly a special place, no words can describe it and I can't even put my finger on what makes it so special. It's just everything.
It seems like a genuinely beautiful friendship that Kirby has with the Sahakians! It’s incredible to see non-Cubans speak so highly of and enjoy my island! Those spectators that Kirby’s sporting are phenomenal too!
Eddie and Edward are such gracious people!
40 minutes of bliss. I smoked a cigar while looking at you guys and I was right there with you. Thanks
I really enjoyed watching your videos relaxing at home with a good habanos after a long working day
that brought memories back in the years 2004 and 2005 when I visited the island . Sometimes we are caught in to life and forget
our real passion . The world will be missing something without Cuba, it's people heritage and culture. Well done Kirby.
Kirby Edward and Eddie thnak you for giving us all this great content very thankful for that every time may your friendship continue forever the three of you is the definition of living gentleman's
All the episodes are amazing, but this one really captures a Havana vibe! Every second is worth watching!
This is just a incredible video Kirby thank you and mr davidoff
Sublime stuff! Really enjoyable to watch. I love how chilled Eddie becomes in Cuba. His gait changes and he oozes that no rush ethos. Brilliant.
Yeah… they definitely know how to do it.
Thank you for keeping the elegance and sophistication regarding cigars and Cuba !! Some channels think they are cigar professionals but really they are bastardizing our beloved cigars with renaming cheap sticks and not respecting Cuban Cigars and the production. Keep up the good work.
Those americans only know dominicans and call it premium. I mean, rocky patel is premium?
This Cuba series has been so phenomenal! I've loved every episode, especially those that feature the Sahakians!
Eddie and Edward are just overall great people 🇦🇲
At 9:18 Eddie holds his puff so it doesnt blow into the man’s face. That’s proper smoking courtesy. I wish everyone was that thoughtful 😊
Best episode of the Cuba saga by far
These videos are so delightful. I don't even smoke at all. I have never tried a cigar, cigarette or vape, and I am planning on never doing it, and yet, oh boy, I am enjoying this series very much!
Wonderful. Thank u gentlemen for a episode that’s timeless. Huzzah and cheers friends. God bless. Johnny Wajda Philadelphia pa ⭐️🌟✨🌟⭐️
Kirby, thankyou so much for showing a little of the life in Havana. US needs to lift all its nonsence about bringing cigars back.
I never cease to be amazed by the quality, humanity, tactful and generosity that your videos portray.
Many people forget that Kirby and the Sahakians are also running businesses in these difficult times, but still find time to share lifetime experiences that a lot of people would never get to experience. I feel that I have travelled every mile of all your travels.
Thanks again Kirby, not forgetting thanks to Edward and Eddie and the amazing Gemma Freeman.
***Jemma apologies not G.
As much as I agree with you about the completely insane US restrictions, one has to wonder what would happen if the market is completely opened up to the USA. The current level of Cuban production just could not handle it, they will be overwhelmed. Prices will be even more unaffordable than they already are. Of course, I am English, and might not be saying that if I was American!
Such a lovely time is to cherish with best friends and loved ones. Looks like a mission well accomplished.
Well done guys another exceptional video!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
I have absolutely been loving this series. I come from Cuban lineage as the first US born member of my family, and this has been a great look into the life and culture there. I’m living vicariously through you until I can schedule a trip to go.
Glad you enjoy it!
This is not the real Cuba
@@gabrielcastillo13 perhaps not, however, happiness is never grand.
@@gabrielcastillo13 I’m aware of the level of poverty and political turmoil, but Kirby has been covering a lot of the cultural aspects of Cuba, wherever it be the Cigars, clothing, etc.
We all know Cuba is struggling. It’s just nice to see the country covered in a positive light for once
Is there anyone cooler than these 3 gents--especially Eddie....he fits right in.
This Cuba series is amazing to watch❤
Some beautiful chat and scenery squeezed between the adverts.
Damn, I used to live right on those streets as a kid, I was seeing my childhood and the places I used to buy pizzas, hotdogs, etc from!!

Another fine episode. Always nice to see Edward and Eddie. Thanks 🙏 Kirby. Bravo 👏
What a place Cuba is! I can almost see the stress leaving you all.
God bless you and keep always in good health, Edward. What a legend.
Kirby! You must vist Old San Juan!!! Love the scenery and video, but you can enjoy architecture like this in a U.S territory!
As a Spaniard , who had a great grandfather living in Cuba , this video has given me the desire to visit such a beautiful island , which looks so similar to where I'm from , the Canary Islands.Muchas gracias Sr Allison

I have no idea who these gentlemen are but will do a quick google search since this short journey was incredible, Gracias!
Well done Kirby. The charm of the city alongside with the charm of these two true gentlemen would have made for compelling viewing in any case but you’ve also executed it with such quality production that makes this one of my favourite videos on Havana.
Wow, Cuba looks amazing. Thanks for sharing your time in Cuba, and what a thrill to see both Eddy and Edward with you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Kirby and three Sahakians are the erfect combination to learn and enjoy cigars
Kirby this series was worth the wait! You really showcased Cuba, the Cuban people and your friendship with the Sahakians.
Excellent work
Side note question:
What travel bag is Eddie Sr using? Love the look and colors of that bag.
Thanks again, muchas gracias, cheers!
Good job as always Kirby! I dont know why but i can sense a very strange vibe about Havana. Its beautiful indeed but something about it just unusual. Maybe so many tourists but very few young peoples on the street. Very strange country. I doubt i can survive there.
I’m Cuban born and raised there. Remember all the people you see on this video are suffering and cursing the day they were born on this island. You will often see lines of people sitting on the sidewalks, most of the time those lines are for buying simple things such as bread or eggs. People are really struggling. The young people are migrating and leaving the country. Out of All of the people I studied with I would say half have already left and the other half are dying to leave. My entire family has left during the past ten years, some 20+ people or so. Watching this video as a Cuban is truly heartbreaking to me. I’m “Americanized” now but at the end of the day these are still my people. I walked those streets so many times.
many have left the island to nearby countries and the U.S as well.
@@aaronrivero3221 man thats bad. I myself was born in a communist country too but honestly the situation in my country still not that desperate. Furthermore the people in my country still dont know much about the real life in Cuba and the government keep feeding us propaganda like Cuba is a heaven with good health care system etc... I really though cubans have better than us but now my eyes are opened. As a fellow christian i pray for my cuban brothers and sisters more health and soon have a better life condition!
@@waleed8530 Fidel Castro and his minions not so great after all.
@@kimtoannhan7275 Thank you! As an FYI. When it comes to health care it is true it is technically “free”. Except that when you take into account the fact that right now if you need surgery, let’s say, you the individual has to bring the gloves, syringes, anesthesia, and all the instruments to be used in the procedure. And also don’t forget the little gift to the medical team. Lastly, salaries are so bad that it would be better to have no free healthcare and higher salaries. That would still not be good given the fact that they pay you in Cuban pesos but most of the goods they (the state) sells you are in US dollars or another foreign currency. So the average Joe can’t even buy shit. Don’t be fooled Cuba is a disaster area, Cubans migrate anywhere including Haiti or Congo cause that island is just a prison with palm trees.
Great video
The Hermes belt! Pops looking good👌🏾❤
I love how respectful Kirby is towards Edward
It’s really a pity that now a days technical knowledge to do certain constructions has to be imported,as you mentioned in the video. As a Cuban native living in La Habana as a kid in the 50’s I remember the Foxa building, at that time the tallest building in Cuba, the Caribbean and Latin America, designed and built by Cuban talent. In your next trip go and see it, you will not be disappointed.
My favorite video of the Havana Series 2023
Wow! Thank you!!
This has been the best one yet. Hope there are more like this.
Thank you!!
beautiful video, very informative and absolutely fun to watch. ty Kirby for all the hard work you put in to bring us such a show. Also always great to see the Sahakians
I don't wanna bring politics into this amazing video but...3 famous and very rich individuals walking around by themselves in old havana, not necessarily a touristic part of the city, enjoying cigars and feeling safe,at home. Yet you can't do this in other latin American countries or in the Caribbean or you will get robbed and most like killed in some places. Yet United States considers Cuba a terrorist country 🤨🤨, and makes it difficult for american citizens to freely visit the islands 😡😡. God bless Kirby for showing this part of Cuba as well.
Love the attire!
Somewhere my wife and I are visiting this spring. Thank you Kirby for showing us this beautiful place.
Cool seeing Eddie so casual, not what I am used to seeing. If I did not know who he was I would have guessed movie star or movie director. Looks like a fabulous trip.
Great series! Wondering if you could share the side bags that the Sahakian’s are wearing.
Wow! This is like a stroll back in time, it's amazing the differences of everyone's perception of Cuba in videos. This is such a refreshing insight. Bravo 👏. I've enjoyed a Placencia Ehtefal while watching this .
Glad you enjoyed it!
9:37 "You just enjoy it as it comes" sound advice from Edward on life in general.

Joining these three on a walk in Havana, smoking cigars, would be the ultimate experience.
Its changed a lot since I have been to Cuba.

I love how beautiful you talked about Cuba, but you did you noticed how the buildings that are occupied are on the brink of collapsing and seems like they’re abandon. How everyone walking around looks like their souls have been taken. It feels like you guys are from a different planet. Viva Cuba Libre

Every time I see a new video is out and wait until the evening when my everyday life is over and then I sit down in my cigar room smoke a Cuban and watch your videos. I'm looking forward to Gala Dinner if there is a video. Keep up the good work Kirby for President
Love that! Thank you!
It's people, it's history, it's land, it's culture.....it's communism. Hell, you'd think the Cubans have it better than anyone in the world watching this video. I'm sure it's great fun when you got plenty of money, cigars, and you can leave whenever you want to.
