The X20A Strike Freedom and X19A Infinite Justice!
As the title says, we're going to have a good long look at Strike Freedom Gundam mod. The X20A Strike Freedom is awesome, but aesthetically I have always preferred the X10A Freedom. And of course you can customize its colours, or combine its parts weapons with the game's existing AC parts and weapons.
WARNING! : If you want to keep Armored Core VI challenging, DO NOT USE the X20A Strike Freedom Gundam! All the Mobile Suits are quite powerful, but the Strike Freedom is CRAZY!!!! I love it, but I totally understand if others don't. If you use it, it'll be like Another Century's Episode on Easy difficulty. And that's saying something!

NOTE 1: It is still WIP.
NOTE 2: Before using any mod, BACKUP YOUR SAVE on a usb or somewhere else on your computer, and turn off Steam Cloud Saves. And when you're done with the mod, and wish to play online, delete your current save as it will have all the new data from your use of the mods (especially if you saved custom mobile suit or hybrid Armored Core builds) and restore your backed up save. If you attempt to play online without doing this, you will almost definitely be banned even if you've removed the mod itself.

I’m not sure if u noticed this while testing, but if u have the Super Dragoons charged up and fire the beam rifle normally, the Dragoons will fire beams a little after. Looking forward to the Infinite Justice video and if u found what I found!

Seriously??!! Amazing find!! Gonna try it now. Have been running with this Strike Freedom up to Chapter 4 now.. definitely felt like I'm being the MC of the Gundam Seed franchise. If only it can fly longer on air.
@@aspirothzero1151 Which generator are you using? You don't have to use the same one i'm using. I'm just using it VE-20B because i want blue engines and it's good for EN weapons...otherwise you can use others.
I am about to finish my first Ac6 run after seeing your videos (brought it last week.)
This really brings back A.C.E memories. Is the unit balanced? No. Is it fun to press L and R to summon the Meteor unit and overpower EVERYTHING? Hell yeah.
Hell yes!! Although recommend doing all three ending paths before using mods so that you can get the full experience. NG+ and NG++ gives you new missions that were not available on your first playthrough. So not only do you have the missions which you did not choose during Decision points of your first playthrough, you also have completely new ones to experience. That's what makes Armored Core VI so good in replayability. The third run, especially in Chapter 5 feels like you're playing a completely different game!

Gundam Unicorn game by From Software is fairly decent...but yes a new Another Century's Episode game in Armored Core VI engine would be wonderful.

I am both hopeful and apprehensive of it, because just the Strike Freedom alone is "Another Century's Episode 3 Easy Difficulty" strong.

I always compare it to Another Century's Episode since those From Software games are super easy even on Ace difficulty with a fully upgraded unit...and Easy mode on that game is even easier.
tbh I can see Gundam Breaker 4 latter adding it as a DLC or some sorts & modders would latter rip these models, and adding it to AC6

Playing Strike Freedom in Breach the Karman line feels like lore accurate strike freedom and defend the space port with IJ feels like lore accurate IJ.
They're really awesome! And using the Destiny in Attack the Dam Complex and betraying the Red Guns also feels like lore accurate Destiny!
I've discovered hidden melee combos:
inputting melee immediately after QBing will do a 2 hit vertical slashes and holding melee after QBing will initiate a 6 hit combo.
Additional note: you must be QBing FORWARDS to trigger the mentioned above combos. If you QB point blank the motion has a slight chance of going sideways and will not trigger properly.
Yes. This also happens if you use melee DURING Assault Boost. It applies to all the Mobile Suits in the pack.

But if you look carefully, i did do it atleast once(07:43) in the video and it's there in older videos too if not mentioned in text. I do appreciate your comment pointing out the hidden melee for the benefit of others. But mind how you phrase your comments. "then why wasn't it shown.." comes off as really aggressive and rude. Still, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you didn't mean to be rude.

Do it!! I bought Ace Combat 7 twice with no regrets! Platinumed as well as completed all in game stuff on ps4 before doing the same on pc and then used mods!

@@alvarosolorzano5405 Part of the reason why I got Armored Core VI for PC is because.. I knew there'd be mods like this. And as to why I wanted mods even though this game is brilliant as is, is because I wanted to experience once again the magic of Gundam Unicorn on the PS3 by From Software, or Another Century's Episode on the PS2 also by From Software.

Truly the most god tier Gundam mod for AC6 around. The Dragoons are also broken OP... tho, they have a problem of constantly firing even at a dead enemy rather than returning or re-targeting but its a small issue. The other bug is the left handed beam rifle doesn't get painted no matter what. The full burst has no equal in the game, one shot can down a damn capship.... It's lore accurate, but damn it makes even the IBIS series look weak.

And yeah i found this morning nothing could be done for the Left Rifle, so i tried adjusting the right arm rifle. But even with Maximum Luster and zero Reflection it still doesn't look like the left one. but it's better than no change.
@@Archerxtreme AC6 basically needs the Gundams to have max luster/reflect to 'fit' the look of the world. My workaround is to set the mech and parts to max luster/reflect, but set the right rifle only to option 11 or so which is the 2nd lowest luster/reflect so the 2 guns match. It still looks out of place but meh, we have to deal with it for now.
Hi in my game all the gundam beam sabers are registered as right arm weapon instead of right back weapon. How can i fix this?
That's normal. You need to have the Weapon Bay OST upgrade. Then instead of back weapons, you can use it as a weapon bay or rack for your arm weapons.
Beam Sabers ARE right hand weapons. If you want to put them on the back, get the OST upgrade for Weapon Rack, and in the parts menu you choose whether you want a back weapon or weapon rack. beam sabers and rifles are both right arm weapons. You can keep the rifle on the right back rack if you want and default right arm to beam saber. it's your choice.
Even in the vanilla game without mods, Weapon Bay becomes available once you spend OST chips in OS Tuning section. If you have not finished the game, I suggest playing the full game, all three endings without mods first.
Another user had this problem and I realized they hadn't completed the game or even finished Chapter 1. If you haven't finished the game or specifically you are still in Chapter 1 of Armored Core VI, most likely you have not unlocked the "OS Tuning" section or Arena yet. That unlocks during or after Operation Wallclimber. Once you do a few Arena matches you'll have some "OST Chips". Use those in the OS Tuning section to purchase the "Weapon Bay" upgrade. That will allow you to mount hand held weapons on the back.
But if this is your first time playing Armored Core VI, I highly advise experiencing the game without mods first. Three playthroughs. Each playthrough unlocks even more missions than the first. And your third playthrough should be the true ending run. Just my take....

I just delete the old one and download the new version. Since they come preinstalled with MO2, you just have to download and play. In fact if you like old versions better, you can even keep them in separate folders and launch them as you please.

THIS IS COOL! But where is the Beam Cannon in the middle?
There are still lots of bugs that must be resolved. Besides I would also like the Level 2 Charged Shot to be in the form of combined beam rifles with a more powerful shot. I would also like the Beam Shield to have expanded coverage and more effective damage mitigation.
Beam cannon in the middle works during full burst. You just can't see it in the angle that i showed...In photo mode it shows up.
Also what you said about the beam rifle seems to be reversed in the mod. Level 1 being the combined-beam rifle, level 2 just gunslinging...but you'll have to tell the mod maker if you want those. You'll have to tell the mod maker yourself on nexus though.

I will tell the modder that I want both level 1 and level 2 charged shot to be a combined beam rifle form. I really want to play AC6 since I miss my good old teenager years but I need to upgrade my graphics card so I can play it without compromises. AC6 should be modder-friendly.
@@carlojoselitochua2954 Ahhh i get it...unfortunately they don't fire separately. I do agree with you. Modder friendly aside, there could be other limitations within the game. Like with Ace Combat 7 modding too there are quite a number of limitations that prevent certain mods from working beyond certain conditions. The Ace Combat 7 Freedom mod for example cannot land, but it can take off. It's an unsolvable issue.
But considering all the work that's gone into these mods, i don't want to bug Rebellion Silver with my complaints. I'm sure he probably wanted to try something like what you said but maybe had to make-do...If we had additional weapons like 4th gens Shoulder Extensions or some those could have given more options. But in many ways Armored Core VI is inferior to 3rd - 5th gen...
@@Archerxtreme Agree, Armored Core 6 gameplay is inferior without extensive modding. I have already finished Armored Core 4 on XBox 360 Emulator and the gameplay is near-perfect. The Primal Armor is very similar to the Phase-Shift Armor of Gundam Seed Series[Invincible to Solid Projectiles]. I just hope it will be perfected to the best of his/her capacity.

Essentially, Primal Armor is a bit like an all-in-one version of the Core Expansion in AC VI and Phase Shift of Gundam Seed or Gundanium alloy. It is one of the defining elements of a NEXT thanks to Kojima tech....Kojima weapons...now i remember what else i wanted in AC VI but wasn't there......
If a NEXT ever came to Rubicon pretty much all ACs will be wrekt by them.

Maybe it already was? I don't know. You don't need to fight the nu gundam...any arena opponent or any opponent that carried a log will do.

how to unlock meteor?
Reach Log Hunter level 12. If you've already got all Battle Logs, just defeat an enemy that used to have a log, or do one Arena battle. Destiny Wings of Light will also unlock.

As a person who plays only singleplayer games, I am able to have lots of fun by playing the same game many time again and again. But when there are talented people who bring amazing things like this to a game that is already, it makes me want to play again even when newer games get released.
