I didn't even realise till very recently they redid the Dalaran music for Legion. I PLAYED Legion, alot however I just thought... at the time that it wasn't Dalaran that had changed... but me. The original sounded so hopeful, so fresh. The new one has a beautiful sense of melancholy that comes with old age... What an amazing soundtrack.
So nice, I had never seen this version of Dalaran I think. One of my favorite places in the entire game. For me, Dalaran was the pinnacle of the classic Wow storyline. What else can you ask of a fantasy RPG game? A freaking amazing magical city floating in the sky.
Still vaguely remember doing one of the daily quest that requires the player to visit a shop called "One More Glass" run by two Blood Elf npcs, I literally thought they have cheese put in wine glasses on the table outside for players to sample. There's also a female Blood Elf npc named Aimee that sells cakes right around the corner, I always liked her lv47 Carrot Cupcake. Thanks for the video Meisio :D
@@Meisio There's an orphanage in Dalaran that has the player choose to take either the wolverine or the lizard-like children sightseeing or something, I take the lizard kid first cause he's always bullied by the other. There are quests in Dalaran on Children's Day every year as well :D
remembering, legion was the last time I played on retail. It was back in 2016 my last year at school before descending into the job life. These days I dont have that much time anymore to really get invested into it. But I Cherish these memories playing together with my friends, walking around in new dalaran and questing together in the broken isles. I loved the storyline and the characters it all felt very well tied till the last patch. Today I mostly help with scripting on legion privat servers, not to steal anything but to maintain the expansion itself. Thanks for your awesome video, you did very well with catching the atmosphere of the city.

The music of Dalaran reminds me of speed running to my rogue's order hall as fast as im on Krasus' Landing. i haven't been to Dalaran since Legion save for a few rare times for Good memories sake. i miss this place
Also i get PTSD from that antonidas statues that's where raids did gears/enchant & gem checks before every run and it's more stressful than the raid itself. But this was in WoTLK i didn't raid much in Legion i basically got carried to gear up quick and catch up with friends but then BFA happened ^^
Was added in 8.35 patch iirc. Don't be so hard on yourself 🙂 Look into it. You still can do the quest which unlocks it for you (there is also a nice achievement and toy to unlock). Salutations Ellen 🙂

Great job mate. I still now go to Dalaran just to chill. Lich King for me was the best expansion. Not only the expansion itself but I felt guildies, mates were closer. Things were more connected.

Even as Legion was about to end and BFA was on the horizon, I had this feeling in my stomach that Legion was going to be the last great expansion, that we were in the good times and dark times layed ahead. Maybe it was a self-fulfilling prophecy, but I barely held on to BFA and stopped Shadowlands after a couple months. There was so much content in Legion that I literally could not finish it all. Honestly, they could have kept Legion easily for another year and maybe I'd finish everything I wanted to do lol
I didn't even mind the AP grind. The legendary system was something that I felt just didn't need to be in there, and honestly was probably better without. They didn't need it. We already all had "Legendary" weapons already.
Great work as always Meisio! Always inspires me to write, work and just relax sometimes. It's dearly appreciated and I can't wait for the next video. But always remember to take the time you need. If things are bad, they'll get better for sure - it's the cycle. Heads up and much love from Germany.

@hawkstrike18+ I did not find pleasure in doing PvP anymore, since I am mostly an explorer. And I also stopped collecting things since it requires a lot of time (which I don't have). There is the rat which you receive as a reward for playing few matches in Heartstone, I'm going with that :) /salute

the more i listen to those abients, the more i understand, why i cant enjoy World of Warcraft today like back then with Wotlk. the magic is completly gone. This Music ist some kind of Art, you feel that the makers worked on the game with all their effort and heart.

Agreed with Prince Moonbeam, I absolutely knew how good I had it with Legion! Dragonflight is decent, in my opinion.

Legion was the last good expansion since WOTLK. Perfect amount of content and a great pace with tons to do on alts.

I was amazed to discover few zones here which I never knew that existed. The level of detail is just impressive.

Still the best expansion. The only really bad thing were random legendaries and AP grind, everything else was perfect.
Even that was bearable. Was the last expansion which I played long enough.

Spent many hours listening to this music after the Lich King release with my mage idling in Dalaran

I always left my characters in Dalaran, logging in and hear Dalaran ambience was peacful, then I'll go wait for the TLPD but I never got him.
