I do enjoy playing the zone but as someone who mainly played vanilla when it first came out it's very bittersweet. I love the Elune dark moon and the night elves forces. But the destruction of teldresil and the damage to darkshore is the worst thing that happened in the game.i just wish the NE victory was reflexed in game. The music is great tho

Why is Blizzard so obsessed with ruining Night Elf zones. First it was Ashenvale and Darkshore, now Teldrassil... There's barely any Night Elves even left. The last thing I want them is to become purple Humans. Let's hope we get a different zone or something atleast. Maybe restore Dire Maul and make it our capital...
I'd go for a rebuilt Eldre'thalas. If they can somehow keep Dire Maul as a dungeon and Eldre'thalas above, like Orgrimmar and Ragefire, that would be awesome. Or, alternatively, they could expand Feathermoon so the elves could have a port. 😊
As every Horde player should level up in the Barrens, the same can be said about Darkshore for the Alliance. I would love to know number of hours that I have spent in this zone over the past 15 years that I have been playing World of Warcraft. I do prefer the pre-cataclysm version, but there is still a haunting beauty to the place even with all of the changes over the years. And the music is likely the reason for my nostalgia. Thank you for sharing this and all of the effort that you have been putting into these videos over the years.
I leveled a lot of Elves just for the Teldrassil and Darkshore before the Cataclysm. The Nostalgia factor should have been enough for Blizzard not to touch these starting zones too much.

Mari, I know how you feel. I am also an ambience person as well. There are 2 reasons I don't do that anymore: - I don't have too much time, and previously, the rendering times of these videos were just huge (8+ hours). Now they are just around 2-3 hours to be fair. - The main reason is that RUclips is giving the channel a score, based on the number of views of the videos. And since the ambience videos are in general at 1/10 of the views of a normal video, it will lower even more my channel's score (I think you notice how poor are the views in general). I have not abandoned the project. I want either to make shorter videos like this one (360 views of a place: ruclips.net/video/9nSnxmfjlgg/видео.html) or standard ones but anyway, thinking of placing them on a secondary channel. I feel bad that I can't do much for the people who want more ambience or gameplays but I feel I have to focus on giving results with the channel in order to be able to continue my work. I hope soon. /bow

For some reason i see Forsaken theme of this event more fitting Night Elves than the Night Elves one. It has some darkness and grief yet beauty, which displays nature of Elune and Night Warrior: the loss of homeland and at the same time lust for revenge.
I think both themes were composed in regards to the destruction of Darkshore BfA zone. And they picked the titles afterwards. I also love the quiet Forsaken tracks and I agree, they fit better with the destruction of the area.

Is it weird that I'm feeling nostalgic for BFA haha, the gameplay might be flawed but the zones, music, and atmosphere of the expansion were amazing

Loved both vanilla and cataclysm night elves locations (for cata brought us more of beauty tracks). But BfA made me very sad.
