Jeff, I have the same stickers on my S2, helps these feeble old eyes a little bit. I would like to thank you here for the extremely helpful videos you produce
Just got my goosky s1 and the bluetooth module makes fine tuning the flight characteristics such a breeze. No more scrolling through settings one at a time, they're all just right there, on the app. I can see everything at once which makes it so much easier to tell exactly what's set to what in the flight controller.
Is Goosky planning to have a direct competition to the OMP M1? I would love to see a Goosky S1 version with the front opening for the battery. I will buy it for sure.
If you want to call it competition… I’m told the owners of the two companies are brothers, and given how similar their stuff is, you won’t convince me they’re not sharing R&D and design geometry, etc. not that there’s anything wrong with that, I’d buy either one, they’re all nice quality hardware. “competition” just doesn’t seem like the right word to describe jt. Software is where I find them equally lacking. I’m spoiled by Vbar.
Hi Jeff! thanks for the great video! I have made a factory reset on my S1 and now I cannot have the original settings as the reset made everything to mid setting. Could you let me know the values for the first page of the app? thanks!

So it’s the same tuning as the OMP, just with a GUI? I like it. Can someone explain the difference between speed and agility in this context? Is agility like expo? Or is it more like agility on a Vbar?
Jeff? where can you download the version of the application that is used in the video? - versions available in the app store and on the site have a different look. apparently for this reason do not work with my RS4
I'm having this issue , I move the slider to adjust 0 pitch at mid stick and it does nothing. What am I doing wrong ?? Really sucks that he didn't answer you question. Almost like he doesn't know how to either didn't even demo how to make the adjustments and procedure how to.
Goosky Bluetooth app only works if the transmitter is bound to the receiver, for some odd reason. one would think it should work whether there is a transmitter or not, but no. also, if you are using the buttons on the Goosky controller for servo centering, you have to move the transmitter sticks all the way, and if the radio is set up so that out put don't go all the way, the servos will not move. +100% and -100% or 1000 and 2000 for the servo to move. it's not proportional movement.
Hey everyone I’m having an issue with my S1. I am trying to change my positive and negative pitch in the parameters using the Bluetooth connection with my iPhone. I can connect fine to it etc. I click center servos. (should anything actually happen? Because nothing does) When I click to adjust the positive zero and negative pitch the center servo button shuts itself off going back to gray. So I adjust the settings. I click save, then I go back out and come back in, and the settings have not saved. What am I doing wrong? Thank you!
Goosky App servo centering only work if your transmitter is on and bound to the receiver. not sure why. but that is the case. also, if your channel output is not 100%, it would not work. must move stick all the way, to get 1000 or 2000. if the max and min output is set less than 100%, then it would not move the servo.
How to configure the T8 control on this helicopter? my t8 can't bind on this goosky S1 model If anyone knows, please send me step by step instructions so I can get him to respond to the control, please?
Turn on the T8 transmitter. Plug the battery into the Goosky S1. From 1 meter away or less, click the bind button 3 times on the Goosky S1 Flight Controller. You will see it flashing rapidly. Once it's fully bound you will see 2 lights, one solid, and the other blinking slowly. You will also see the blades twist and raise up and down a few times while it's setting itself while binding. Now it's bound and ready to fly. You will NOT have to do this again. You will simply plug in the battery to the S1, turn on the T8 transmitter, it will search and find the Goosky S1 by itself, do the twists, raise up and down again, and you're ready to fly again. MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON A FLAT AND LEVEL SURFACE BEFORE BINDING, AS WELL AS EACH TIME YOU TAKE IT OUT FOR A FLIGHT. If it's on any type of an angle, when you turn on that transmitter, and plug the battery in on an un-even surface, it will calibrate it thinking it's straight and level, while really having it at an angle, will make the heli have trouble when you set it on a perfectly flat surface you plan to launch from. This will cause horrible drift as well as control problems, so ALWAYS turn the radio on, and power up the S1, on a flat and level surface before flight.
Ps, I believe Ill be Sending My Hard earned retirement money to Goosky s1 to start . My Blades will ebay an rcgroups sell or be left in my estate. Been waiting on Simplefied blue tooth. Amazing tks
This guy gets it! I have had it with the miserable experience of my S1 and S2, Im converting my S2 to a Rotorflight system. Putting them both on ELRS with an RP2 receiver alleviated much of the issues on my S1, but my S2 is still just unreliable. I have to hold my breath every damn time I take off if the gyro gain will kick hard Yaw left and roll right. I ruined a brand new set of $30 blaes the day after I put them on. Just because the machine decided to keel over hard while it was spooling up. My speedyBee mini FC arrives later today and I can start soldering in the new setup and be done with goosky's crap avionics once and for all.
Big fan of the channel and all that but unless someone has never used bluetooth or downloaded and app before this is a complete waste of 3:38 minutes of someones life. This "you can move this up and down and this up and down" instruction is completely pointless. Thanks for all the other actually good advice I have received from this channel
I’m very impressed that someone who hasn’t used Bluetooth or downloaded an app is getting information from RUclips. Happy flying brother, if you’ve made it this far you’re probably fine without the app
This is good but i would like to see a more detailed explanation of each setting and how to affects the helicopter.
yeah that’s what i was hoping for the tool tips in app make no sense in english

How do you set the pitch on each blade to get +/- 13 degrees? @@Ariautoace

Good to see you on Heli Direct!

Yeah man, wish you had gone a little further in to how it works and what the settings do, especially around the servo centering bits.
Maybe you do a video, how to upgrade the firmware for the Goosky gyro 😊

They have a list of helicopters and coming.

Hi, great video, can please suggest Bluetooth settings for beginners on the S2?
Thank you in advance!
I don't suppose this would work on the OMP Hobby version?
No, the OMP models do not support the Bluetooth.
Just finished setup on my RS4 and with the autolevel on im getting a drift to the rear and left...any way in the app to adjust this?
Just ordered the S1 rtf, will the Bluetooth work with the goo sky controller that comes with it?

You must uninstall, then reinstall it should work then
Make sure your transmitter is OFF. My BT won't connect if my DX9 is on
Jeff, I'm unable to adjust 0 degree pitch on my S2 with either bluetooth or directly on the controller. Any ideas?

Instability mode my S2 drifts a little to the right how can I alleviate ?? (Adjust aileron gain ?)
My RS4 did the same so i trimmed the Channel in the transmitter from max +50 to max +30 and the drifting was gone ✌🏻
Think this would work on ikon2 fbl
What does the centre setting do for the main blade pitch. I played with it, but saw no difference…

Isn't all of this done in the radio?
Can the Goosky gyro work with other helicopters other than Goosky heli?
I don't see why not. but I don't think servo direction can be changed?
also, if the elevator servo is in front, it probably can't handle it.
oh no! I bought the Goosky rs4 gyro to work with my ALZRC 42, Heli, I plan to set it up this weekend
