Just put the T-case in the dishwasher , the wife won’t mind
Great idea.
Lol my wife is the dish washer.. she has no problems if I use the bath tub and make a mess. Then use the oven to dry said part. Even tho I set the fire alarm off. Cause I went back out side lol. The old oil definitely got burnt off.. 😂😂😂😂😂
How did you figure out that two wrench trick? That would have saved me so much time lol. Good video... I did the same adding a billet 29 spline input, now it's coming back out for a 271D, so I need to pull the input back out and put it in the 271 :)
FB firepunk forum.
@@okc_garage I'm going to try that for sure. Ordering a new 271 tomorrow.
@@okc_garage that worked amazing! My 271 is tore down, now I gotta pull the 273 and do the exact same thing. Bought the full rebuild kit from Torque King so it should be good to go when I'm done.
How many times did you pinch your fingers splitting the case like that? Good idea though!
I did smash my finger nail once. That was about it.
Yep you're totally wrong there are lots of tolerances you have to check. That planetary is where you want to start. Over 20,000 on any gears means you buy a new one. So I decide to flexion on the chain is measured. Safest to buy a new one as you have that part. All the bearings clearance has to be measured, they do go bad. Good luck with your project
Are you talking about a t case or the transmission?
How many times did you say the F word doing that?
