Idk if it will work but you might be able to kill the feedback by selecting "media only" on your phones Bluetooth settings on that specific Bluetooth device. It should take the mic out of the mix... nice upload bro. Helped me learn what I was looking to learn. Respects
Feedback is coming from static between the wires you used on the amp remote & ground. I’d upgrade all your wires using monster cable brand or OFC wires with comparable insulation to prevent static interference! 👍🏼 great video!
Damn dude all things considered, its sounds pretty damn good! Lol when your rolling down the road with the volume up you won't hear that low volume feedback anyway! Just figure out how to get rid of of the rattling bag latches...... But it sounds pretty clean overall! Good job!👌
Nice sound system 🤙, what battery size do u have, or charging system, i bought a bike w/ a sound system something like this and when im riding the voltage drops and practically kills the battery but charges since im riding any recommendations ?
Hey brother, so I am looking to do this exact set up on the highway bars and was wondering how difficult it was to fiberglass the back and overall how it sounds if it’s worth it, I am looking to do 8 inch coaxial Rockford Fosgate speakers
Whats up bro,I cut them and stretched fabric over and fiberglass over that ,you can find videos on here how to do it thats how I figured it out .I think 8 inch are kinda big I get good sound out of the 6 inch .At 80 plus mph the wind takes over at that point
I actually just redone the whole system I will be posting another video on that ,I used 15 min plastic jb weld that shit is really good don't use much this way if you have change something out
I cut the back of them out ,left the speaker side alone ,I cut them then stretched fabric over the cut side and fiberglass over it ,you can find a video on here on how to do it ,alot of guys use that method when they build custom speaker boxes
I just looked on amazon they were ,Kicker KMTES Marine Wakeboard Tower Enclosures For 6" + 6.5" Speakers+Covers But the listing said they were currently unavailable. I am sure they have something similar
Did you drill holes in the bags for the speaker air flow or is it all enclosed? Great video btw. Going through this in my head right now. Way too much information out there. Super confusing
Nice job man like how you bags an not lids. To stop rattling readjust your lid latches with new weather stripping and have it tight tight that's what I had to do with my bags just trying to help you out
Thanks ,I will try that ,it came out nice and clean. The only problem is anything over 35 you really only hear the front speakers I think with the lid speakers you can hear them at higher speeds?
Nope they are running just fine ,sometimes when I go on a long ride and it's really hot out the shut down for a second and then go back on ,but that's only at max volume
How did you mount these in the highway bar? I don’t see the original clip like they have when you buy them? These are the Kicker KMTES pods for 6.5 speaker right?
Yes they are KMTES ,When you get them the original mounting brackets are not installed so instead of installing the brackets included you need to tap your crash bar and use the holes on the pod for the brackets they give you ,and bolt them up I used rubber washers between the pod and the crash bar so they did not rub and it gives a little cushion. Hope this helps you out
After I watched the video again I remembered how I mounted them ,I actually did not use the holes on the pod, I drilled the top and on the side of the crash bar ,when you place the pod on your crash bar you will see where you need to mount them .I used the closest points when the pod came closest to the crash bar .just drill the pod and tap your crashbar and use washers so they don't come loose I may have used thread lock as well .good luck 👊👊
Thanks ,I think it hits really hard for a 6.5 ,when I first did the system I did not do any dynamat ,after I installed that the bass was much deeper .I wanted that sub because I did not want to take up my entire bag with speakers I still have pleanty of room to store all my stuff .Good luck with your build
Na ,just regular speakers .most of the higher end speakers do not use paper cone anyway .So you will be fine, see what the speakers are made out of before you buy them .the way I mounted mine they do not get wet on the inside of the bags .I would not worry about marine grade .
You could've done this video in less than half the time, I almost fell asleep. You shouldn't have taken the time to TRY and read the brand and model numbers off everything. Just post them. I am ready for a nap now.
Best build I’ve ever seen without the damn fairings. Great job 👏
Thank you 👊👊
Im new to bikes what are fairings?
Best build on RUclips without fairings
thank you
This is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for the upload bro!
Glad you checked it out ,Gets kinda confusing when you go to buy stuff .I know I was 👍🏻
Finally somebody that plays some real music for a demo! Go Mark Musso!!!
Couldn't agree more....
Nice Job ! Clean not overboard like the outcome Sir .... enjoy your music choices 👍🏽
Thank you I appreciate that 👍
Idk if it will work but you might be able to kill the feedback by selecting "media only" on your phones Bluetooth settings on that specific Bluetooth device. It should take the mic out of the mix... nice upload bro. Helped me learn what I was looking to learn. Respects
Thank you for the tip I will try that out 👍👊👊
Nice nice nice!! Sounds great! Nice touch on the kick pods! 💜💜
Thank you 🤘
Got my subscription awesome video man love the road king
Those front speakers are awesome.
Thanks man ,they took a bit to fabricate but they came out nice .Thanks for checking out the video
It's the Bluetooth from the LEDs the transmission of that is making the stereo have that hum that's a really good job dude
You lost me on how your Bluetooth connects! Did you say your amp has a Bluetooth connection? If so what kind of amp?
Come DJ my 53' birthday party...you jammin !.....very nice install -your 6.5 pods are one of a kind should patent that..ride safe.
Man your sound it’s wonderful what you got in there
My Soundstream amps used to him and I didn’t have the Bluetooth model. I used to run 3 ST4.1200d’s
Nice work!
I had same rattle. Open latch and Put dynamat behind latches anywhere you can get it without preventing it from closing. Worked for me.
thanks ray ray, 👍🏻👍🏻
That's nice bro I also ride a Road King that thing slapping.... Nice
Thank you ,👍
Nice work
sweet bike build by the way!!
Can u show how u wired everything is it like wiring car audio for power and ground
Damn that sounds good. I run the same amp. 🤙🏿
A Bluetooth Amp care to say how that works
Feedback is coming from static between the wires you used on the amp remote & ground. I’d upgrade all your wires using monster cable brand or OFC wires with comparable insulation to prevent static interference! 👍🏼 great video!
Nice stereo setup . Did you have any balancing problems with the weight of 2 amps in one bag .
White man got some soul✊🏾
Lol
Sounds great can anything be done to stop it from rattling?
I tightend up the latch it's all good now ,thanks 👍
Damn dude all things considered, its sounds pretty damn good! Lol when your rolling down the road with the volume up you won't hear that low volume feedback anyway! Just figure out how to get rid of of the rattling bag latches...... But it sounds pretty clean overall! Good job!👌
thanks, to be honest without the front speakers it would be hard to hear when your cruising at 70 plus .But when I am at lower speed it sounds great .
Do u have a list of the gear here including your amp and bluetooth antenna? Thanks buddy
Nice sound system 🤙, what battery size do u have, or charging system, i bought a bike w/ a sound system something like this and when im riding the voltage drops and practically kills the battery but charges since im riding any recommendations ?
Nice setup man. did you upgrade the battery or stock?
Sounds really nice
I’m thinking of putting 2 sundown 6 1/2’s in my bags with a pair of tens, does a sundown woofer hit your bags not having a spacer?
Nope it does not hit ,I had plenty of room
Sounds good

Nice I put dynamat over my latches stopped my rattling , I have a 05 roadking
Nice video! What do you recommend to use for mounting the amps and crossovers?
I actually just redone the whole system I will be posting another video on that ,I used 15 min plastic jb weld that shit is really good don't use much this way if you have change something out
Did you cover the back of the front pods after you cut them?
I cut the back of them out ,left the speaker side alone ,I cut them then stretched fabric over the cut side and fiberglass over it ,you can find a video on here on how to do it ,alot of guys use that method when they build custom speaker boxes
Where do you have the remote connected to ? So it turns on when your bike does
might be induced by power wire running side by side with audio cables? i have had this issue before. may be grounds as well .
Where did you get the bags from? Great work....
What’s goin on brother, do you recall the speaker pod you used to make these?
I just looked on amazon they were ,Kicker KMTES Marine Wakeboard Tower Enclosures For 6" + 6.5" Speakers+Covers
But the listing said they were currently unavailable. I am sure they have something similar
What fender is that bro? Sounds great! Bad ass bike
Did you drill holes in the bags for the speaker air flow or is it all enclosed? Great video btw. Going through this in my head right now. Way too much information out there. Super confusing
Love it

Hey mark did you have to upgrade anything to the bike to run all the amps and such
Nope they are running just fine ,sometimes when I go on a long ride and it's really hot out the shut down for a second and then go back on ,but that's only at max volume
I have the bluetooth amp...Where did you tap in for the remote wire for the amp?
The fuse box ,get a tester and find a fuse that's hot when you turn on the ignition and tap into that one
Like those handle bars who makes them
You can put a manual eq and fine tune tuning and eliminate feedback.
I can give you some recommendations if you would like.
Thanks ,I have a app on my phone that I use ,its fine only happens when the sound is all the way down. 👍👍
Mybe its my phone idk but it sounds like distorted rattling rather than clean clear base I guess it must sound better in person
It does sound better in person,
Do you have a remote switch to turn your amp on?
I hooked the amps to the fuse box ,when I switch on my ignition they turn on 👍
What battery you running with 2 amps? Is it killing your battery or you running just fine with no starting iasues?
And now you’ve learned that un-reinforced ABS bags sound like crap with subs
How did you mount these in the highway bar? I don’t see the original clip like they have when you buy them? These are the Kicker KMTES pods for 6.5 speaker right?

where did you get the tail lights
And what did you use to mount the pods?
I tapped the crash bar and found some bolts I had laying around
O and I used rubber washers i picked up at harbor freight for in-between the pod and crashbar for vibration
Very nice bike man your music is almost ready reach out to big money rob on you tube he has a filter that will stop that feed back
It's only when the volume is all the way down ,I been thinking about it I think I may have to check my ground
Or thicker cables
How big is your amp i just put 1000 amp and not happy
Nice!! How do you like that sundown sub? I’m thinking of doing something close to your setup on my Road King!
Are the speakers marine grade? I ride in all weather so finding a setup is hard.
Na ,just regular speakers .most of the higher end speakers do not use paper cone anyway .So you will be fine, see what the speakers are made out of before you buy them .the way I mounted mine they do not get wet on the inside of the bags .I would not worry about marine grade .
WHAT TAIL LIGHTS ARE THOSE
Cant put subs with a speaker in the same box the subs air will out power the co ax speaker unless one of them is a seald back.
I still want to use my bags so I did not enclose the sub ,but I still get some nice bass out of that little sub .but thank you for the comment 👍👍
Did you drill holes in the side of the bag for the subwoofer
Yes one big hole so it can move without hitting .then just mounted it using some nuts and bolts .
how do you like your Dany Gray seat?,,, i'm lookin at the same one
kinda hard not much cushion my ass hurts on long rides .but it looks nice
@@thediyguy9456 COOL,,, BUT IT STILL GIVES IT THE LOWERED LOOK
The feedback ur hearing is from ur led strips
Did you track the origin of the noise?
Na ,you cant hear it when I turn up the volume so I am not sweating it .
What kind of dynamite that is
What rear end is that I like to have that set up
baddad

Yeah man ,I am not a youtuber just trying to help out people that are trying to do there own builds ,sorry I bored you
Lock the bags, will probably stop rattle
Thanks I will try that
