You can't win them all Trevor, at least you've tried. The thing that many will not realise until it happens to them, is that "project" cars become very long term before you know it. I have 2 cars that are both SORN that have not seen MOT's for at least 8 years now. I just don't know where the time has gone. I would like to think that I can have one of them back on the road this year, but who knows? Anyhow, please keep the videos coming, most of us really enjoy them.
I continue to like your hard work and presentations. How about a podcast with Edd or Mike? The former more likely than the latter I suppose... Any tips on me finding out who owns an old car of mine? I want to buy it back and DVLA pushed me back when I wrote to them. Thanks again!
Maybe one day! A DVLA MoT and vehicle check are a good place to start. Try googling the number plate, it might have been listed for sale somewhere. Also try a mycarcheck report.
Slight observation on Land Rover- WK reg was(is?) used on a lot of vehicles they registered themselves- whether for management or demonstration or press purposes
The Landy could be used on private land ..farmer or transport company as a "hack" ... We have a truck company near us .. and one of the Disco's they use .. well you have to see it to believe it .. totally effed .. the interior has it's own microbiology / lifeforms and the less said about the rapidly dissolving body work the better ..last time i saw it .. one sill had gone and the other was barely hanging on .. Tailgate hinge at the top had rusted off and the door was secured by a wire coathanger to stop it departing the vehicle totally .. ( on site vehicle .. never to go on the road ever again)
Fair point. I don't usually have any issues using that camera. I tried to patch it with full screen overlays but at some point my ugly mug has to make an appearance...
@@oscarsgarage447 I am told, that with static 'piece to camera' stuff, that autofocus can be turned off and focus manually set using a slider. Don't know, maybe it's just when the subject is too close to the camera or something, because I don't remember this happening in your garage vids.
Unfortunately mine doesn't have that feature. Good point on garage videos. I also usually record in the evening but this was an afternoon so lighting was different. I will resolve it!!

The TVR with MOT history is pretty good it should be around as for the Land Rover a lot of rust issues that could be why it's not on the road
and apparently it never went off road, according to what they say in the episode.

Is there any way of finding out if cars have had track use certificates issued? Seems like that could be likely at least for the tvr.

It depends what we can find out on them, it will probably be quite tricky.

No real results, but still enjoyable. Just one (and only) request - please fix that damn auto focus, it really is quite irritating, haha.
