I do have a picture of the VW van I took in 2007 while it was parked outside Wetherspoons on union street in Ryde on the isle of wight as I remembered it from the programme.
There were never any factory Rhd Integrales - they were conversions done it the Uk by Mike Spence, Richard Thorne or John Whalley and used a Fiat Regatta diesel rack which was the closest in ratio to the factory Lhd unit.
Hey Oscar, awesome video as always and I've sent you a super thanks. I have to admit, I wasn't too surprised to hear that the VW Transporter had been scrapped; great job by Edd but I was never too keen on that particular generation of VW van, and nice to hear that the Lancia could possibly still be around somewhere 👍😊
I remember reading that the Lancia had to have a steering rack (I think it was a rack) fitted by a specialist Lancia mechanic, which obviously wasn't shown!
around 2010 they did another vw bus type 2, modded the engine, what they dont show is that they fuc@@ the engine up re building it and it went the West Drayto ( serdi) who did all the work for them, none of which was mentioned at all , i know this because i was at serdi when it arrived
Regarding the change of ownership’ on the Lancia. I seem to remember that a pile of V5’s were stolen and the DVLA had to re-issue new documents to all currently taxed vehicles and shows as new V5 issued.
Generally speaking, loads of spicy cars with no recorded tax or MOT history tend to be competition cars. So, its likely the Delta became someone's rally project - and probably sporting a Martini livery...
Hiya mate, love your videos, can you do a documentary on 40ra I don’t think many people will remember the story of such an icon even know the circumstances wernt very good for the met 😂
When picture of the van showed up on twitter in the scrap yard Edd replied that he was sad to see it heading to its end. Gave no clue of who bought it off him though.
hello mate, got a challenge for ya, could you find anything on a 2nd Gen Cavalier GSi under the plate "D987UFT", it belonged to me mum and I've always wondered what happened to her
It's destroyed my love of the series, I'm usually quite cynical and probably just wanted to believe lol. Makes you wonder about other programmes on various subjects, I realise editing goes on but personally there are limits. What's the point in the whole thing otherwise?
Please track down the silver Mazda RX-7 that was in season 11 episode 3. They put some hideous snakeskin vinyls on it and repainted the alloys orange 🤢🤮

The T25 caught fire whilst it was loaned out to one of Paul’s relatives. Edd mentioned this at the NEC show a few years ago
Great info!

Interesting info! I was surprised there were factory RHD ones but I went with the way it was told in the programme.
I bet Brewer’s got that Lancia tucked away somewhere - he knew it was a keeper even back then.
I think Ed did hide that one far and far away from Mike.
he was ripped of way to often
Love these investigations, thanks! If you don't need the recaps:
4:05 VW T25 Diesel Van
9:40 Lancia Delta Intergrale 8v

Hi! Thanks so much for the super thanks - our very first! Glad you are enjoying the series!

Interesting...the seller mentioned he thought it needed a rack, but they said it needed track rod ends and suspension bushes.
That Lacia Delta Intergrale is somebody's shed waiting to make an appearance
Are you referring to the VW Kombi with the vinyl wrap with the bubbles on it which came to an unfortunate end
Thank you for your work
You are very welcome
These videos are brilliant and I always look forward to the next one. According to the MOT history app, the Lancia is showing as SORNed.

Great info, I have some info on that bus after it was sold.
Waiting to see your coverage of the Audi Quattro from an early series.
Stick with us, we will get there!
Id love to see the audi quattro too

Probs just a pile of rust in a barn somewhere like all lancia’s lol
Apparently there was a big job on the Lancia that wasn’t included in the final total
Someone else has mentioned the rack was replaced.
@@oscarsgarage447 and apparently it was an engine out Job
Could it have been turned into a rally car. Wouldn't be an awful lot of money for a base car.
Thanks
Thank you for watching

What other livery would it be!
Paused and subscribed, love these videos
Thanks for the sub!

Let me see what I can do!

Is that Robin Hood? I built one many years ago. Cool 7! and good video!
Sure is, learn more on it here... ruclips.net/video/EnTB4SP9Mjo/видео.html
the green 911 would be good and also the mk2 golf
edds book has the story of the van too.
Thanks for that - I need to get a copy!

Not Taxed since 2001
There weren’t any MK2 Cavalier GSis those weren’t until MK3 G reg. only SR or SRi MK2s.
@@andyb3666 probably an SRi then

I didn't want to wreck anyone's enjoyment of the programme, but I could only report what I found out!
