May one of Swedens true metal guitarrists rest in peace ❤️❤️❤️
RIP David. You left us a fucking masterpiece before your exit on this world.Thank you…..👊🏻🤘🏻
So sad news with David Andersson, may that legend rest in peace. This video also hits differently now.. Godspeed to his family, friends and Soilwork.
Just heard of David’s death - this video now in context is very harrowing and difficult to watch. RIP…
Hella hyped for the new album and I may have come late as a listener, but this band is now my favorite, can't believe I lived so long without knowing about these dudes untill just about last year. Went and bought literally every album they have, even like the old stuff. My favorite album of theirs has to be The Living Infinite.
What you think about Stabbing the drama? That's my favourite
@@paulflint6254 its awesome, this band doesn't have a bad album IMO.
@@Tommyvang187 same 👍
Welcome to the family!
Natural Born Chaos!
I'm so sad that he couldn't see the light beyond the darkness. We are only alone in our own thoughts. We are together through David's art. RIP.
Man, this is a powerful glimpse into David’s emotional state. His eye movements, the way he and Bjorn look at each other when the other talks - so much beneath the surface where I can feel what’s unspoken. For as much as he opens up here about his struggles, it’s clear there is much deeper pain there, even just from watching this. Maybe I’m projecting but I feel like Bjorn is very aware of it - and even when you are, sometimes there’s only so much even a close friend can do from the outside of a person in pain.
As someone who lost a creative partner and friend to something similar, I feel for Bjorn here, and I feel for David and mourn his loss. Rest in peace, legend. The Living Infinite is an absolute triumph that I still return to on the regular - you brought us the greatest era of this great band, and too many masterful tracks with Night Flight Orchestra to name. Thank you for brightening the world with your music. I hate that someone with so much offer was struggling so much. Anyone in a similar place, as hard as it may feel, please know that you are loved more than you believe.
Between Soilwork and The Night Flight Orchestra these guys are prolific! Thank you for the incredible music!
Fuk me, he wrote and composed one of the best EP’s of 2022, I’ve been a fan since the beginning, this interview has become disturbing to me. The lyrics on this new EP hit my heart really bad, now it’s haunting.
He said he was having mental issues and break up of a marriage, I was in this boat a few years ago, was suicidal and getting loaded to stop the pain.
The cov just made it worse, by yourself and loosing hope. I heard something in this EP, and now I know why…it’s just sad now.
This felt like it was soilworks best work, best EP of 2022 maybe…fuk me.😔
Rest in peace David Andersson. Thank you for all the amazing music 🖤🤘😔
What a pleasure to have them back! Definitely waiting for their next album, the first three titles are bangers for me. Keep your excellent work soilwork!!!!
Have them back? They never left! Their last three albums are masterpieces!
Panic broadcast will forever be one of my favorite albums!
@@PunishThemMetal i mean, no shows for almost 2 years! They weren't that far, you're right! And I totaly agree about the last three records!
RIP DAVID
You're amazing guys, love everything about your song writing and performance.
Looking forward to the album lads soilwork are always a guaranteed banger of an album 🤘
RIP David. This was an awkward interview, seems like you were hurting.
Oh David.... R.I.P
I had no idea how the band was going through so much over the past year with personal issues, health issues, etc. Im just happy that you all were able to make it through to the other side. Gratefull for yet another amazing piece of art from you guys. Stay safe!
We love you, David Andersson, and miss you.
RIP David, you will be remembered as a legend and will still live on within all of our hearts and the beautiful music you've written!
Wherever you are now, I hope you finally found your inner peace
RIP David. I'm sure we can't blame covid entirely, but I think the idiotic response to covid from governments around the world pushed a lot of people further into hopelessness or over the edge. None of it was worth it and it made no difference.
its been tough couple of years for me physical injury Healed but mental been tougher to heal. Thanks to many bands like Soilwork that keep me going. With friends & family loss the anger & cries internal , But when alone i explode w farming, music & sports helps me keep Sane
Love this kind of a look behind the curtain. Excited for the album!
Metal legends right here folks!
Soilwork never Disappoints
Rest easy David Andersson
I was almost too distracted by the background music lol Love to see the updates!
edit: Saw you back in 2012 at the Congress in Chicago. Never forget the night.
I'm so looking forward to the new album! The last single was killer
Yall should just move to Texas, we'll happily take yall in....all the freedom in the world is here!
Yeah! Nothing screams absolute freedom like forcing women to give birth, constantly scapegoating Hispanics, failing energy grids, and Ted Cruz!
@@DustyGlandon cry me a river hippie, no one cares about your hurt feelings
Rest in peace, brother, thanks for all
Bangers bangers and no fucking clangers!!! So so excited for this release. The music grows with every release but I feel something extra special is coming with this one! 🙏👏💙🤘🎼🍺

Can't wait for the next album! Hopefully we can see more tours.
Fucking love Soilwork
The ONE certainty in my life I can count on is that Soilwork will release an epic album!!! .....again and again!
Man, RIP David
Detta album kommer förmodligen hjälpa mig lika mycket i livet som alla andra gjort, kanske mer 😉
Soilwork har varit mitt favorit band sen 2002.
Tack för all fantastisk musik ni gör gång efter annan ❤️
The first 5 records are definately my favorite. Cuz of all the lineup changes over the years they kinda sound like a different band completely now but glad they're still at it.
RIP David
I need the new album now! Hope yo see you guys in Seattle sometime soon. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
PLEASE do these more!
You guys are the best!
pls never stop making music ! u guys r such a inspiration for so many ppl ! i just love to reflect myself when listening to your songs
Walk straight for a final solution 🎶
Rip David Andersson! 😭Thank you for resurrecting Soilwork and bringing them back out of the brink of mediocrity with "The Living Infinite" and on. You wrote their best work since NBC. Going to be huge shoes to fill and I'm not sure if they'll ever be the same. Have faith in Bjorn bringing in some new blood, just hope it's for the best and not going back to the stabbing the drama sound errr!
This so much. I loved Soilworks early material, Sworn isn't something I really care about much, and I was hyped to hear Peter come back in 2010, but again, it just didn't feel the same, I mean he left the band again cause he wasn't feeling it anymore.
David joins the band and became one of the lead songwriters, and The Living Infinite blew me away. Still love that album. The Ride Majestic came and gave me more songs I can honestly say are in my top Soilwork songs still, and my favorites ended up being songs written by David, like Petrichor by Sulfer, and Aspire Angelic.
The dude was a massive talent. His guitar playing was so tasteful, infectious, catchy.
I honestly don't know if anyone can replace him. I'm not sure I want Peter to come back either if he doesn't care about the band anymore.
Honestly out of all the musician deaths that have happened in the last 5-7 years I think this is the hardest hitting one for me. Rip David.
Feeling anxious for the next chapters!
One of my favorite bands
From the first time I heard soilwork (Steelbath Suicide) - I was sold! Every album has brought so much joy to my life! Thank you guys until death do us part! \m/ love the new black circle!
You guys rock! Fan since 2002. Love the thoughts, and yes, the last 2.5 years have been HELL. Thanks for all the good music from Soilwork and The Night Flight Orchestra. And David, you have my sympathies; been divorced since April 2021 and it still hurts. The music you guys make, It helps more than you know \m/ \m/
Sorry to hear about David....OMFG, another great talent gone too soon. He was only 1 year older than I am. GD.......RIP brother
I love the new record. Have been listening to Soilwork for over 20 years, this one is rather special, definitely stands out in their discography.
RIP Sir😢
I clicked because I thought the guy in the thumbnail was Notch
