great shots. and thanks for your diesel heater videos. I built mine with your instructions and its worked flawlessly for a year now and has extended my camping season on the east coast of Canada.
I gotta say, normally I can't stand music dubbed over in these offroad videos, but your selection always seems to fit so nicely and at just the right volume too. Great video per usual!
@@RevereOverland Your videos always have music that sounds like the score from a film over these incredible views, I think it fits great! Looking forward to more, and turning many of the locations you've traveled into a bucketlist of my own!
I love Moab so much. I cannot wait to go back out there again its so beautiful there. I want to hit the La Sals next. Thank you for sharing this and sorry for all the damage.
We loved Onion Creek and Polar Mesa when we did it! We spent that night on Beaver Mesa before heading back into Moab. Dome Plateau looks amazing! Will have to keep that one in mind for next time. Loved the video!
Thanks for the honesty. I have seen many other recaps that seemed to likewise struggle with the reward VS the rough treatment on your rig and your spine
Rob, great to meet and chat with you at the expo last Saturday! Hope to be in the Moab area in a few weeks. Gonna try out your onion creek drive. Another nice video. Cheers
Once again, a very nice video. I am nearing completion of my RTT so we can go places our Lil Snoozy trailer can't. We will bring both, park the trailer and go exploring for 2-3 day trips.
I am in Total agreement with you on the super rocky trails. Did the same thing in New Mexico a few years ago, and after 9 hours of it, the payoff wasn’t worth the ride.
If you have an LC or LX, go ahead and replace your heater T's. The factory plastic ones WILL fail and like he said, when they do they completely crumble. You can get aluminum replacements on Amazon for like $25 and will never have to worry about them again.
This is true, it’s how I knew what it was instantly. I thought I was good because I had relaxed them 50k miles before. Guess I need to look into metal onea
Another great video 👍🏻 keep them coming! Love your videos! Just 1 thing, Quesadillas aren’t made with yellow cheese never ever ever! 😜 The only place yellow cheese is consumed in Mexico is at American hamburger restaurants. Other than that 1 cringeworthy moment everything was great.
I rode my dual sport (much faster than 4x4 speeds) up to top of the world a few years back, and completely agree. That trail kinda sucks compared to so many others out there. Did not hit that trail last time I was out there in May.
I'm headed out there at the end of August into September with my F250. I was thinking about doing Top of the World and Hell's revenge. But I've actually heard that from multiple people about it only really being worth it because of the view at the top. With Hell's revenge it's gonna depend on how much traffic there is on the trail, and I'll be solo and not gonna have a spotter for Hell's Gate. I know I could do it without a spotter, but just wanna play it safe being almost 1700 miles from home lol.
Thanks for sharing your video. I really enjoy your overloading videos. I have seen all of your videos with the subtitles but this video has no subtitles. Can you turn it on this video? Many thanks and Happy Overlanding!
Nice video! Would love to speak to you sometime about something new we are starting at Dan Cummins since I think you are local to our store in Georgetown
//. My short Thai wife loves her tiny Honda, and I am taken by the CR-V package and wish I could buy her one. Still Toyota wins out with me always by being the tank they make. I think Thailand has assembly plants here, also.
@@RevereOverland just supercharge it! You can get a lc or tundra but the power to weight wouldn't be any better. Maybe a gx would, but thats not any bigger.
Hey KY man, keep your original company name and since you're selling your house or are you moving your headquarters or what ? My bad knees keep me from moving out and around but I still have all my cold weather gear from trips to Nepal where they were not totally needed. I love your videos keep your name.
why do you want to sell the 4runner? Also what part of England are you from I'm From Oxford and your accent, though lost a bit with the slight American twang sounds like you are from the west country? I have been here in the USA for 44 yrs.
@@RevereOverland a little like the car RUclips channels do I think it'll be interesting to bring your audience along for the what's replacing the 4runner as a mini series. You've been so dedicated to that vehicle and mods are clearly going to be in the plan for the next one!
Lexus taken down by a common fault and the fix was a $5 part that takes no space and weighs 2 oz. bet he’ll never head out on a trip again without one of those t couplers in his spares bag.
For sure, I honestly didn’t think it will fail again so soon. I replaced them less than 50k ago at my water pump service. Got an extra set in my drawers now!
Some of the best off-roading drone shots on RUclips. Keep it up
Very cool trip. Those are the types of trails we are looking for. Love scenic views.
Always love your videos. Thank you. I love your background music also. It's very befitting to the scenery. Transcending.

I just got back from Moab and Colorado. Such stunning places.
Just awesome I'm so glad Wes got to take his family! I'm only a minute and 15 seconds in and this video is awesome!
Woooooww!!!! Awesome video, love the drone shots, very cinematic!!!!

Love how Wes has his 10 year old son spotting him lol
We went to the Smokey mountain overland rally and he took a class for spotting and has LOVED it ever since. He does a really good job!
That 10 year old is a better spotter than some of my buddies.
Thanks for sharing your adventures. Beautiful videography.
Epic footage, epic music. Nice one mate.

Absolutely beautiful footage man. Goodness gracious it's amazing! Very inspiring.
Right on we enjoyed that! Keep on Dronin'

But we do not trail that much
You do beautiful trail.

Damn awesome MOAB great place to have fun
Nice to see Wes. I really miss his vidios.
Thanks for the kind words. I had to take a break due to an injury but I am currently videoing so I can start posting again
Great news
And we still have our drawer system video to do!
Great video
Thanks great fun, we also enjoyed Onion Creek trail.
3:59 that fender quiver 😂
I was holding my breath the whole time you were going down that was 😧 But it also looks like fun 😊

AWESOMENESS!!!
We were there last month. I totally agree with you about Top of the World. Of all the trails we did it was my least favorite.
Thanks, I’m glad you agree!

It's hard to find good cheese in America!
What? Wisconsin and Vermont would like a word…lol
Vermont cheese is my favorite, but it’s hard to find in most states. We have Cabot in Kentucky, but I couldn’t find it on this trip!

Something as big as an F250 would probably be more comfortable on Top of the World! Hell's Gate would be a challenge though!
Top of the World is getting rougher and rougher. I loved looking down on Onion Creek from above.
That's what we've heard - apparently it used to be rated moderate in the guidebook, but now they consider it one of the tougher 4x4/SUV trails.

Selling the 4Runner?? Egads! What're you replacing it with?
I’m not entirely sure at the moment, but the new Tundra would be good for the channel!
@@RevereOverland Definitely couldn't go wrong there.
Beautiful
What would be coming in place of the 4runner!?!?!?!
Excellent

I’d love to hear from you - I have a contact form on my website that’s the best way!
14:15 What's going on with the LX's gas tank pressure?
Beautiful filming. You say your selling the 4Runner, do you have an idea what your replacing it with?
I don’t know yet, but I’m leaning towards the new Tundra!
Hello there , how low did you desínflate your tires? Thank you.
It was TOTALLY worth it.

I would try never to leave a paved city street in any vehicle not a Toyota. What was your friend thinking?
one of your best videos. what are you looking to replace the 4 runner with? please don't say power wagon!!! lol
Everyone has a Power Wagon, and there’s a good reason for it. I’d like a new Tundra when they come out though.
Wow!
Ouch. Did you miss the escalator around the other side?
BBQ chicken and cheesy potatoes is becoming a staple meal for you.
Every trip!
I like 4 runners but the departure angle seems poor. Was your jeep grand cherokee better offroad?
@reveroverland are you taking the Rimrocker trail to Colorado? If so how was it.
I didn’t, but it’s on the to-do list
This drone footage is cinema quality! Got a questions though, why are you selling the 4runner? Will you stick with a Toyota? Just curious.
Thanks! I want something bigger with more power. I'm not sure what I'll get, but I'm leaning towards sticking with Toyota (or Lexus)!

Why are you selling the 4 runner
👍
It’s okay, you can say “Cindy’s offroad van”
That’s exactly what I meant
Sooo, what will replace the 4runner? ...or is that a secret?
I'm not sure yet!
Trail cred!
How does everyone have so much free time?
I’m a teacher
I read no reverse and seen the cliff 😂
Lol!

I'm from Norwich, and have been here 11 years now! I'm wanting something with more space and power, although I might still keep the 4Runner.

Ahhh, at the end!
But why not more?
It didn’t fit in most of the time. I should have flown it around Onion Creek though.

all of that expensive gear and you havent learned how to eat well while camping yet... gotta prioritize man! lol.
