I will say it again, you have the best cinematography out of any other overland youtuber period!!!
I appreciate it!
Ah!, good stuff!👍👍✌️ Glad you're back.😎😎
I’m not back yet! We’re still out filming, but it’s hard to edit on the road!
Really fantastic video and production quality is top notch, as always. I’ll be watching your videos as long as you keep making them!
Thank you!
Those snow shots! Yes! Can’t wait for part 2!
Good stuff, Rob!
Hi Rob - it was great to meet you at OEX PNW, even if it was just briefly. Several of you have formed a really neat ‘community’ of RUclipsrs, and you all are a bunch of great people. It really inspires me to get the heck out and explore! Thanks for doing what you do!
Next stretch looks fun 😃
It was!
Slo-mo in the snow 👍
My playground!!! Love it out there.
Rob, I love your storytelling.
Just another absolutely fantastic video. Always look forward to the notification from RUclips when you post! Keep up the amazing work and safe travels.
Thank you! Will do!
Made my day!
Great viewing. Well edited as always. Enjoyed watching this episode. 👍
Instead of a dust brush...I use a Makita 18v hand-held mini blower. Gets the dust out of the nooks, crannies, and seals before opening the tailgate. Bonus...doesn't scratch the paint.
I was venturing out there the same week/weekend you guys were. Weather was perfect, the greens were really green, the cows by Canyon Station were happily munching away, the drive was peaceful.
Bojonegoro, Jawa Timur, Indonesia 😁👌
Beautiful are . The drone shoots are Awesome. I'm noticing that your tundra got bite by the Gladiator windshield "bug"😮😮😮.
Very nice video. Would like to see you do a Cross country road trip.
Did that stretch West to East Nov 2022; man was it cold and snow packed! Pony Express monument at the top though with some fantastic views. Stay Safe!!
Awesome!
With 3 different types of rigs, it’s like when Thor, Ironman, and Captain America teamed up in the first Avengers movie
Lol!
Love it
Damn, your drone shots are prime. Definitely pick up a few things.
Last time I was at the Dugway Geode Beds one of my party spent a few hours digging and found nothing. I just walked around the whole time and found 2 geodes just sitting on top of the ground.
Great video. I have always wondered what the off-road PE trails looked like. I have seen the stations that are closer to hiway 50. Thanks.
They’re very pretty, but so is the highway through there!
You mentioned 300 miles between gas stations. I just want to clarify, there is one portion that is about 250 miles (between Dugway, UT and Ely, NV), and no other section comes close to that, usually 50-100 miles between gas stops. But I appreciate you saying 300 miles so people really come prepared.
That’s good to know. Dougway wasn’t on our route, so we had 332 miles between planned gas stops.
@@RevereOverland ahhh ok makes sense. Keep up the awesome work!
I’ve been trying to fully seal the bed of my Tacoma but it’s not easy. So may places where water and/or dust can come in - especially near the gate and bulk head 🥵
It’s pretty much impossible!
Are there videos of your equipment and organization?
Have you ever had transmission overheating warning? Some people have said they get that from overlanding with 37s on 3rd gen Tundra
Yes. It seems to be caused by constant shifting going up steep, slow, winding roads. Limiting the transmission to 1st or 2nd seems to prevent it happening.
Did you pass by Fish Springs on the Utah side? Would be a great place for drone footage in the springtime if permitted to fly there. I just did this route last year and was amazed at the contrast the water provides.
We did, but unfortunately no drones there! It’s a wildlife refuge and in a huge chunk of restricted airspace.
@RevereOverland I had a feeling that would be the case. Great video and looking forward to part 2.
I've flown over it in a small plane. It's pretty awesome
If you where going to start in Missouri to where your friend headed to salt lake how many days did it take you guys?
👍👍👍👍
Take a 18 volt blower and just blow the dust off the back of your tailgate before you open up.
You seem overly concerned about fuel usage. Do not any outfitting companies provide long range fuel tanks for your vehicles? I like to travel here in Australia so I carry enough fuel for approx 1700 km (1000 odd miles) between refills, as required.
There’s nothing available for the 3rd gen Tundra or diesel Gladiator yet. Apparently Long Range America are working on the Tundra.
Fair enough. Australians generally purchase off-road vehicles based on accessories available including, but not limited to, long range tanks given the distances we drive. I guess that's why US vehicles don't sell well here. You should visit and play at some stage. We're proud of tracks like The Canning Stock Route which is approx 1800km of sandhills and scrub between fuel stops. Most remote track in the world that one. Hay River Track. Birdsville Track. They're all amazing.
the rooftop tent on the Tundra looks funny. That's a No for me.
It’s a truck bed camper
