If I don't understand wrong, it's using a race chip custom map so it does not care.
Anything more aggressive and you're asking for its premature breakdown and a huge service repair bill as BMW's are mostly made of chinese plastic.

Guys! This was awesome. I’ve watched hundreds of your videos. And I enjoy them all. But this, this here recaptured my attention, as if I was a viewer on day 1 again. What a great comparison. Sure we can compare the raw data and you guys do a great job sharing that data. However, I gotta say there is something to this side by side comparison. As an American, I salivate over the thought of the Autobahn and to see American Muscle lining up with one of the best from Europe in the M3, boy that was fun. May I suggest a car you haven’t tested yet? Im the lucky owner of a C6 Z06 Vette with the fabled LS7 motor, that’s 7.0Liters mania. It’s the lightest Vette ever produced as 3100 lbs. its 505 BHP, 475 torque with a redline over 7000. And it’s NA. I’d love to see you drive this beast on the Autobahn to get your take. It’s the car that out Corvette on the map /world stage in Lemans and other racing circuits as all it did was win. As car enthusiasts, do yourself a favor and find one and run it! And let’s see more of these types of side by side comparisons. Reminds me of American races in the backwoods of the south somewhere or in the desert of So Cal. Good work boys
Would take the Hellcat, love that American V8 sound and it's something different you don't see often in Europe and specially in the Netherlands because our not so nice government taxes you to hell and back for cars like this (and then there is the not so small issue about fuel prices) 😬

M3 G80 with manual gear shift instead automatic, perfect!, my congratulations. I love the manual gear shift.
Even better was the 700hp Supercharger Mustang that you drove. Manual and that wonderful whistling Supercharger coupled with a V8. Icing on the cake was the speedometer showing Ground Speed. 😁
But a very small 5l V8😏

The Hellcat running wild on the unrestricted portion of the German Autobahn, its natural habitat. Loved it...
I also have RaceChip in my Diesel Turbo SUV - it makes a huge difference. Nice and fast American car - the dash looks like it came from the 90's. European cars have the best looking dashboards ever.

Please do a review on the Cadillac CT5 V BLACKWING. I promise you will love that car. You get luxury plus a manual and its just shy of a regular hellcat in terms of power but the handling that beats a M5

It's amazing how with less power that M3 still can run or just follow the Hellcat. For me M3 all day, is just all what I need.
He close the power gap allot with the Down pipe, exhaust and remap.
Great daily with these carbon fibre seats and racing suspension etc..

charger is fuel thirsty, m3 has newer technology, honestly charger is if you have the passion for big v8s and muscle cars....
I see 23-24 mpg in highway with the hellcat, not much difference with this small bmw at 24-25 mpg... The difference is when you break the bmw the price is higher.

@@adrianstephan4011 The difference is much bigger, you can easily cruise for more than 30 mpg in the M3. Also the price to repair the hellcat would be much higher here in europe.

@@adrianstephan4011 in highway eco mode at 70-80 mph in the 8 speed versión... Yes, the normal hellcat without the widebody is a bit better too... The engine runs arround 1800 rpm at 70 mph.

My Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody was $95000 sticker price US. Either way, I’d say a Redeye is the way to go.

@@lambokiller9970 To me, there is no comparison. Only one of them is a muscle car. Also, as a toy, the Redeye is a so much more fun, and those are the two things I’m interested in. Otherwise, it’s $150000 for the M5 CS only.

The all season p zeros really are just awful. They come on the Challenger Hellcat too, once I got them off I exchange for some Nitto NT05s it was an insane difference. Being able to actually get some power down was incredible. Now I'm running NT555RIIs on the back and the NT05s up front and she really grabs the road compared to beford
Nittos are grippy but loud as hell. terrible harmonics

The Charger for sure 😍
Recently saw a video with the M5 CS vs. the new Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. The BMW was much faster in a straight line even though the Cadillac is a beast and has more power. Surprisingly though, the Cadillac had a slightly faster lap time even with a manual and RWD only. Would be amazing to see the Cadillac on the Autobahn. It is far more suited for it than the Charger in terms of stability, chassis rigidity and aerodynamics.
I disagree. My charger hellcat is superb concerning stability on the Autobahn even at 300kmh+. BMW M5 and Caddy will do the same. Long wheelbase and high weight helps a lot.
@@nickthequick9826 Well I guess I stand corrected if you have actually driven those speeds. I was just going by the host's comment about how the hood shakes at high speed and the card doesn't look like it is the most aerodynamic.
