I'm very excited to start wrapping cars. I've got a lot of experience with vinyls and decals so I think it should be pretty straight forward for myself to learn without much more than just hands on experience.
Great work as usual I have heard that because the hood has so much touching especially on the front part it is better to put more material underneath. Why is this incorrect in your experience? Also
The 'point of view' camera angles with the GoPro would be awesome. Good idea. This midnight sun is going to look great in the sun. If you can, when you're done can you show it to us outside? Thanks.
Been watching your videos bro, you do a damn good job 👍. Imma try to do my car also, and hopefully get into wrapping cars as a side job. Good tutorials. P.s. you finished the hood faster than me using the restroom 💩
Before you buy vinyl to wrap your entire car, but a sample and test it out. I have witnessed vinyl that becomes discolored/hazy after trying to reposition it. This type of vinyl can only be applied once and if you screw up, it's over. You just cannot pull on it without damaging it. Of course, it was a low-price vinyl that actually worked for my application, since I was only using small pieces that didn't have any curves or creases.
It’s more entertaining than just being helpful. I’d wish to see all the panels wrapped.. the easy ones could be edited to be at x2 speed with music backgrounds no instructions
Ok I’m back with my comments about you, signing your work! Maybe not the full name (to shut up the complainers, you know, the ones that have their car Dealer ugly badge name in the back of their beautiful car) but at least the CK. I find those letters very classy looking. That colour is outstanding and so is the install. 👍
Just happened upon your channel, found it very interesting & informative. With all due respect, possessing years of detail, mechanical & management of those doing the same, one aspect seriously bothered me, professionally. Hopefully you are open to critique or possibly like myself never reading comments or replies.. Working close to cars while wearing jean that might have, zippers, rivets are frowned upon due to the close relationship between yourself & the automobile. Leaning, stabilizing our bodies allow the possibility for metal parts on clothing to contact/scratch paint or clear coat. In your case the watch & ring is what triggered this rant. A simple trip, becoming off balance while catching yourself could easily cause a swift & natural reaction using a hand with metal objects to scratch a surface so fast, by the time the lesson is learned the hard way, it’s already too late.. Anyway, nice video, would be just as nice without material accessories.. Lol Take care..🙏
The advice in the videos is free for viewers. Many people pay for cable tv and still have ads that come up every few minutes. I also take extra time out of my day to explain and show these things. If I didn't do the videos then I could do the job much faster but the videos do set me back in time spent.
Vvivid films are cheap and low quality 9 times out of 10 compared to a proper 3m or avery sw900. Although i do like the color. I also cringed when you didnt do a tack cloth wipe before laying. I understand that maybe you think its fine or you can tell in person, but when youre putting out "instructional" videos for wrapping its shitty to cut corners. People watching may not know the difference and will skip steps at home doing diy also.
The color and the depth looks amazing definitely comparable to a professional paint job
Awesome to see your channel growing, you will be hitting 100k in no time. You always have great content, keep up the great videos!
2 years later 270k :)

Where do you recommend buying wrap from?
I'm a solid fan of you sir. Your so cool god bless
I wanna learn wrapping with u...but it is so far away from here. I am a Tibetan in Lhasa, Tibet.
what happens if a costumer brings a car with stone chips or dents, do you fix them and then wrap, or tell client to get it fixed
Being that midnight sun, demon black etc have that color change effect do they have to be laid a certain way or direction
Awesome!!
Why would you want such a reflective surface on the hood?
i have this wish for the time you will be wrapping a 350z !! :P

@@CKWraps do you not have a business wrapping customers vehicles? It's a little more than a little excessive.
