I watched the entire video non stop! One of the few channels I can actually sit through the entire video....thanks the knowledge and guidance in helping me DYI my own ride!!
I love watching your videos and have learned so much from watching your different techniques while wrapping different vehicles and it’s really helped me with all of the wrap projects I’ve done so far! Thanks CK!
Impressive to see this done in one piece. I’m surprise of the little amount of waste once the doors and mouldings is done. Also very nice to watch with no compressor going and other people talking etc. Thank you CK
It would be cool if you used the Excess wrap (That can't be used for other parts of the car) to maybe Wrap the Customers KeyFobs to match the car. Might be a cool little extra that some might actually like for a reasonable price.
Great video. I will use the same method for my A5 coupe. I couldnt figure how to do the whole side and door in 1 piece. This is by far the best method Ive seen.
Christian, just love your intro when that flame type music is playing. The bass it has through my speakers rattles my entire tabletop😉 So funny, but cool. Thanks for these awesome interesting tricky wrap vids, & know can only make them when get certain cars in.... Thanks again. Cheers, A👍🏻👍🏻
Holy cow! This is my car you are wrapping! I am loving following along and watching a master at work! I will have to bring along some more hi-chews when I pick it up!!!!
I don’t want to say out of respect to Christian. He can comment if he likes. But i will say he was in the same neighbourhood as other shops that i feel are way inferior to him. One shop, custom wraps, would not even wrap a white car! And their website talked trash about Vivid and Avery and talked up 3M. Christian has shown why vivid and Avery are better. As always, do your research. I would have been happy to pay more with Christian, but the fact he was the same, is a no brainer! If u r in toronto area, dont go anywhere else.
ck, my personal opinion is , it is easier to make the cut with doors close and then open up the doos then do the cut to were you wanted to be on the inse of the doors body frame. i have done ut that way and you dont have to waste time trying to open the doors with the vynil on it.. just my personal opinion. and i want to thank you cause you are my mentor. i reslly apreciate all yoyr videos you have posted. and also for taking the time to educate us. thats priceless thanks a million. saludos!🤗
I'm having trouble in the recessed areas even after good cleaning and applying your technique. It's still popping up and getting nasty bubbles. I even tried popping bubbles and applying slight heat to get it to stick.... Is there a way to bring it back without starting over? I'm out of material to start over unfortunately
CK, I’ll be getting a new Maverick mini truck in the velocity blue and I am wanting to wrap it with a clear matte. I was wondering if you had any videos of this type of material, tips and tricks for doing this. I’d really like to do it myself. I’ve never done this before but I think this little truck, with its basic shape of mostly flat panels and the fact that it’s a clear matte material, I think I should be able to do it. Do you have any plans for doing a Maverick in the future? Love the videos and really dig your integrity! I’m retired and on a fixed budget so cost plays into this project for me. I don’t plan on doing this as a living.
Great videos man. I’m learning a lot. Did my first roof on a q50 it came out great. I’m trying to watch all of your videos to get some ideas and tips for future jobs. Thanks for the tutorials.
i know this an old video but would i need to do if the door trim piece is painted? i have a cobalt sedan and both the front and rear doors have painted trim pieces
the square plastic piece that goes onto the end of the vinyl roll so it can stand up properly, where can I get some? lol My roll of Avery didn't come with one. Thanks in advance
I’m going to finish my roof wrap from the roof rack line down the front window pillows along top of the doors and half way down the back window pillows. It’s tight to fit doing one bit should I start i the middle
Why not use the hard bodyline just above the door handles as a overlay area? easier to do the qaurterpanel in 2 pieces and no chance of lift in the line? Not judging, asking because I'm a beginner learning from your great work! Thanx for that!!
Ever wrap a ford excursion? Looking to diy mine in diamond white. It also has rear panel and roof being 1 piece only issue is that its alot bigger then the Audi haha.
Hey man do shops tend to hire people who know how to wrap cars? I have a job that makes me miserable. I want to get a job at a shop maybe wrapping car or even at a repair shop. I'm gonna wrap my car and do it perfectly and was thinking that I could go to a shop and hopefully get my foot in the door if I have an example of my work experience with me. What you you say to someone who showed up to your shop like that looking for a job?
What do you do with scratches? I recently got some VVivid gloss black vinyl, I used their felt and squeegee. After install, I noticed a crap load of scratches. What do you do when this happens to you?
That’s a fact, all 3 audis I owned had rocky rocker panels which I thought was weird cause there were all 2-3 yrs of age but I guess they come like tht
Bro, the fact that I’m 23 mins in and there still isn’t any heat application is blowing my mind. My girl and I would’ve been yelling at each other by the body groove part lmao
I seen thumbnail and thought oh no.... He is doing something to do with baby shark.... Then seen it was a blue car, bonnet open and vinyl draped across it!
CK, would you consider ending your videos with a picture or two of the completed vehicle? Would help your viewers with ideas on wrapping, then we can all come to you to git er' dunn.
I watched the entire video non stop! One of the few channels I can actually sit through the entire video....thanks the knowledge and guidance in helping me DYI my own ride!!
this makes me appreciate how much these guys charge. I would drive to Canada to have this guy do my car.
I love watching your videos and have learned so much from watching your different techniques while wrapping different vehicles and it’s really helped me with all of the wrap projects I’ve done so far! Thanks CK!
Thank you for making these videos, nobody else makes wrapping videos as easy to follow and as instructive as you do! Thank you for your help!
Impressive to see this done in one piece. I’m surprise of the little amount of waste once the doors and mouldings is done. Also very nice to watch with no compressor going and other people talking etc. Thank you CK
Hoping the disassembly channel will have you taking this car apart. Would LOVE to see those vids!
The door handle and window trim is very easy to take off.
He always makes it look so damn easy! Keep up the hard work!
Christian, just love your intro when that flame type music is playing. The bass it has through my speakers rattles my entire tabletop😉 So funny, but cool.
Thanks for these awesome interesting tricky wrap vids, & know can only make them when get certain cars in....
Thanks again.
Cheers, A👍🏻👍🏻
sitting there like a free spirit.....
Hey man your work is amazing. You're the reason I'm more confident to try this on my Infiniti G37 Sedan, love the vids, keep them coming.
Holy cow! This is my car you are wrapping! I am loving following along and watching a master at work! I will have to bring along some more hi-chews when I pick it up!!!!
Chirag Patel how much did he charge to wrap the whole car

Does he wrap the door jambs as well? How did you get that rock chip on your rear door?

Great video again. Thanks CK.
i know this an old video but would i need to do if the door trim piece is painted? i have a cobalt sedan and both the front and rear doors have painted trim pieces
can we use magnets to outline the doors so we can spot it easier?
So the other side is same peice?? Or u made inlay for other side?
that color is so clean! I like it a lot
You are so Calm !
Can't wait to see the finished product. I was going to go with a dark matte color on my SO but I love that blue
Thanks again for another great video instruction. Much appreciated as always 👍🙏❤
I did this on my civic. It came out really good due to this video.
i know this is an old video but what are those lighting fixtures in the background?
I'd like to see you do some older cars
Wowee, Avery looks soo easy to work with; Easy to glass, not alot of tack
Love your videos! I like the sounds the vinyl makes when working with it. LOL.
Your attention to detail is amazing. I love your work man. Where are you located?
the square plastic piece that goes onto the end of the vinyl roll so it can stand up properly, where can I get some? lol My roll of Avery didn't come with one. Thanks in advance
The white looks so much better
How well does it hold on on the long run? Does it wear out? How does it compare with regular paint? And car wash?
Did you just policy instead of inlay?
👍🏾 gd job on this because I'm attempting to do my vw 2007 jetta in October
Always great watching you.
I've watched a lot of your vids.
I can't say this enough.
Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! Your a Beast
My Jetta mk4 is like that. I have been looking for a video explaining the technique for that piece. Thanks man.
I’m going to finish my roof wrap from the roof rack line down the front window pillows along top of the doors and half way down the back window pillows. It’s tight to fit doing one bit should I start i the middle
Hi, could you have left it all as one piece. like not cutting out the door panels but just cutting out the wheels and windows. or is this harder
Hello, i have a Avery suplier neer me, what's the best series vinil to wrap a car? Thanks
Your a really good teacher 👍👍👍👍😎
Just found ur channel. Any vids on corners and trimming tips? Also When to do inlays and when to use knifeless tap
Yea, on my website www.ckwraps.com
Why not use the hard bodyline just above the door handles as a overlay area? easier to do the qaurterpanel in 2 pieces and no chance of lift in the line? Not judging, asking because I'm a beginner learning from your great work! Thanx for that!!
Should rapid tac be used?
Ever wrap a ford excursion? Looking to diy mine in diamond white. It also has rear panel and roof being 1 piece only issue is that its alot bigger then the Audi haha.
I’m from
Bolivia 🇧🇴 but man your awesome
You're awesome dude! Thank you for the amazing videos.
The link you provided in your description for the wrap seems very matte. Can you confirm if it's the right one?
great work!

How far have/can you wrap into the jam? Do you ever have anyone that doesn't want to see the factory color come in?
Always wondered about that. You cover the outside but what about the eyesores on the inside when you open the doors, trunk or engine bay
You do inlays before wrapping the out side
How far down u wrap side skirt?
What do you do with scratches? I recently got some VVivid gloss black vinyl, I used their felt and squeegee. After install, I noticed a crap load of scratches. What do you do when this happens to you?
Torch or steamer
how much would it be to do the car ???
sooo, I had a lot of glue lines when I wrapped a car in 3M, I understand that that would be my fault? Not the 3m wrap that sucks at the moment?
You can easily over lay after doing rocker panel first due to gravity and following the body line from doors to make it look flush and smooth
You do you
How is his hard card sticking to the side of the car? What for of wizardtry is this?
That recess you stress thanks for pointing 👉 that out the pillar part
Amazing how you do that
The trunk was harder for me im gonna try this method when i get my avery wrap thanks!
Amazing how you do that
That’s a fact, all 3 audis I owned had rocky rocker panels which I thought was weird cause there were all 2-3 yrs of age but I guess they come like tht
can you tell me the name of the cutter thread sir?
I’d like to see a video on door jambs
Bro, the fact that I’m 23 mins in and there still isn’t any heat application is blowing my mind. My girl and I would’ve been yelling at each other by the body groove part lmao
Simply awesome
My car is like this to, did the same technique you did as well
thank you for the help!!!
If you can wrap the whole car in 1 piece, u'll become legend...
I seen thumbnail and thought oh no.... He is doing something to do with baby shark....
Then seen it was a blue car, bonnet open and vinyl draped across it!
wonderful content, only have one question, who was messaging you? 😁👀😆😆
Nice mate!
You need an elevador for the cars
Can you do this in pieces instead of one big one?
If you want a bunch of unsightly seams, sure.
Wow. Just curious. So when you wrap a car to change it's color, the inside stay original color?
Bro what?
Grate job. Thx.
wow your good i love to get my mone carlow done in it is it much money???
$
WOW!!!
Wow and it only took 1 hour !
bout to purchase my first roll messing with your vids..
i dont understand .Why this method? Ive seen other easy wrapped vehicles seem not as tough?
It's the difference between doing a mediocre job and an excellent job.
The wrap is Carbon fibre it’s 2000x500 just about fits
Are those the measurements of the wrap,,,?
Arm span? I think you mean wing stand
Wing stand? I think you mean ring stand
👍
“It’s a little bit challenging if your arm reach isn’t that long”
Me, who’s 5’4” - 🙁
CK, would you consider ending your videos with a picture or two of the completed vehicle? Would help your viewers with ideas on wrapping, then we can all come to you to git er' dunn.
I normally do walk around videos of the wrap once it's finished
This particular one you can also find images of it on the Instagram account @ckwraps
Can u please do a wrapping on a Toyota iM or scion iM
you left out of the video the most important parts, tail light end and bottom piece trim...
just wasted $500 worth of wraps trying to do it without a garage
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😎😎😎😎
Bad choice in colour. You gotta go with Nardo Grey with an Audi.
"hmm..begginer"
You need a camera man my dude ...itmakeyour content better
huge waste of material !!!
First
Love your videos! I like the sounds the vinyl makes when working with it. LOL.
