Thank you for reviewing my store, its Christine with the Esche Collection! To answer your question I only received VERO's in the beginning when I started my store- there are only a handful of brands I've learned that check and send out the warnings to Ebay and Poshmark often so I usually try to find pics on instagram or just do mannequin photos for those brands specifically now. Most of my sales are on Poshmark and that's where I started as a reseller so I've been trying to grow my eBay store (actively learning more and more of how it works, such a different animal from Poshmark) more so the title structure you suggested is great because I'm used to titles that work for Poshmark's algorithm so I need to start revamping my eBay titles since its different!
Also sometimes when you search something up, itll populate other brands as well. This will cause false actives/solds ratio. So what id like to do is filter by category, brand, and used to get a more accurate sell through rate.

Hey Beau, Hope you can help me. 1). I've got all my listings on Calculated Shipping with USPS Ground Advantage, but have transitioned 27 of them to flat rate $8.95. I exactly weigh every single item, with jeans always over a pound. The shipping price you are seeing on the item is it being shipped to Oregon from me in Florida, maybe thats why you see such high shipping? I cant see it on my end, when I look at my store, it shows me what the shipping cost is to ship to myself locally. I checked the ebay 'shipping calculator' for a shirt I sold today. It gave me a quote much lower than what it appears the buyer paid for calculated shipping.....do you think there is something wrong with my shipping policies? I dont know how to tell or what to fix. 2) Also, On your RUclips video, the view on our end is fuzzy so I can see my items you are scrolling through, but I can't really read the title or the shipping cost. Same with other stores you show their listings. 3) Also, Id estimate one third of my inventory is stuff from last year, before I moved and before I really started evaluating my store and the STR. So Ive left them in the store, and just keep dropping the prices, trying to get even a few bucks for them. Should I just remove them? Im really surprised Im not selling more, Ive been dropping prices every week. Something is wrong, but I dont know what! Any ideas?
Hey Beau, wasnt there a change in something with the shipping on Ebay in June or July? Something about passing on pricing discounts or not? I read something about it from someone, but I didnt hear from Ebay. DO you know what that was?
Generally many resellers on RUclips prefer not to share their store or they have a second "learning" store that they will share. having a bunch of looky-loos from RUclips gawking at your store and not buying anything changes the traffic patterns, eBay sees that you are not converting those customers into sales, so it's not good for your store, unless your social media presence is such that it actually increases your sales.
@@prosperousutensil8178 And his social media presence is very large, a lot of sellers on RUclips smaller than him benefit from increased sales because of social media so that is not an excuse. I think if you are selling courses and giving advice there should be some kind of reference. I think he had his Postmark up and if that is the case why not Ebay.
