I love love love mature ladies brands and styles. I know it sounds silly but I get super excited when I find fun quirky designs from Chicos and Talbots :)
I started reselling part time about a year and a half ago. I watch reseller You Tube videos like it's my job...(my actual job is being a K-3 Literacy Coach) and I LOVE your channel...I can so relate to your personality! This is the first comment I've made on your videos because I usually watch on TV while Im listing and you can't comment on the TV app. I wish they'd change that! I love selling all of the bread and butter brands mentioned here...and I have Death Mountains in my basement because I enjoy thrifting entirely TOO MUCH!!!! Thanks for your awesome content!
I love selling Zara. They make trendy, sometimes very unique pieces. They often are made high quality materials like wool, cotton, cashmere, and linen. For a fast fashion brand, I don't actually come across a ton of it in thrift stores. I also love Banana Republic and J. Crew who make really minimal, timeless pieces that are great year round.
Talbots and J Crew are my favorite bread and butter brands. Great video! Gives me hope since I mostly only find bread and butter brands at my local thrift shops.
Maybe not a specific brand but I love the sleepwear section! I have found amazing stuff there that moves quickly and can sometimes get some great money
Levi’s outerwear popularity lies in the denim jackets and trucker jackets. Their heavier coats can also do great but they’re know for denim and trucker.
I'm about 3 months into reselling as a way to supplement my income and I love your content. Thank you for another insightful and practical video. I find recognizable brands (like a Lilly Pulitzer blouse I found on one of my first sourcing trips) BUT I haven't always been looking for the traits that brand is known for (i.e. the Lilly Pulitzer blouse is a white eyelight instead of LP's trademark bright hues) so I will be researching these brands more thoroughly before I shop again. Keep up the amazing work! You are really helping those of us out here who are still trying to figure it all out! :)
I like starting in outerwear but don’t have the space. Thank you for the video! Some resellers talk about trends and it’s easier to watch than making a trip to the mall. 😊
Abercrombie & Fitch and Zara. I have no idea why Zara sells so well but if I can find it inexpensive I pick it up. Thank you for such great content! It’s been so helpful!
Another awesome video Becky. A brand I don’t hear anyone talking about is Ulla Popken. Particularly in the larger sizes. I have done really well on eBay. A tip for mall & bread and butter brands is to put the year in the title if it’s new. So I would do Lululemon 2023 that way people know it’s modern.
I'm Canadian and started selling in the U.S. on Poshmark and trying to learn what the Bread & Butter brands that are most popular there. In Canada, I find it is different, Zara and some of their sub brands like Wilfred still do well for me here depending on the piece. I like your channel and often watch to see what you're selling to help me find pieces here. I love it when I find great Talbots clothing, doesn't sell here, but does great in the U.S.. I learned that from your videos. Thank you Becky!
I've been liking selling Abercrombie & Fitch! Some great tips in here, thank you! I follow a lot of sustainable ootd pages which I love the concept of but aren't always as trendy, I'll have to hunt down some more trend based IG pages.
Thank you for your videos. Always informative and your vid editor is hysterical. My fav bread & butter brand is Abercrombie & fitch. I actually found an old t shirt from my college days that I sold for $35.
Wrangler is one of my fav bread&butters - their vtg western tops do great for me (bolo prices), the classic snap shirts sell consistently, and we all know their jeans! Great video, and awesome partnership with Reseller's Edge. I've been wanting to join but with extra expenses I haven't had the chance yet!
Hi, I am outside of Phoenix and find a lot of Wrangler jeans, especially men's. Do you find a certain style and/or size sells best (both men's and women's)?
@@beckyparkco aerie sweaters, sweatshirts sweatpants, jumpsuits and flare leggings are typically what I pick up. Definitely the more substantial stuff. And like you said recency is a big deal. COG needs to be low, I never pay up for aerie. If I price it right, my aerie typically sells in a month or less.
I agree! My favorite to pick up is vintage (so I just look for old tags and styles vs the brand). And I'm carrying that over into modern clothing instead of just looking at the brand. been finding a lot of cute Y2K pieces from mall brands a lot of people pass up. I like folks like you are more "down to earth" vs resellers that are like "look for burberry! look for prada!" ok but the average reseller isn't finding that lol xD. I don't mind making thousands off of one item. I just wanna save stuff from the landfill, make a penny or two and get them to some cool people.
I’m brand new at this, I have spent the last 20 years refinishing vintage furniture, but it was time for me to stop dragging giant pieces of furniture around 😂 In my area one of the most consistent brands for women that I find would be Chico’s. But I was passing them up until I saw your video the other day😂 I’ve since gone back and grabbed some of the pieces I had left behind! That video was a game changer.
Thank you so much for all your hard work. I watch your channel every day. You are the best and extremely smart. My bread and butter brand is Lauren, Ralph, Lauren and Michael Kors.
I found my first Penny Lane jacket recently . Had issues and still sold in a couple days. A couple brands I like to pick up that sell pretty quick Pretty Angel, Parsley & Sage and Leoma Lovegrove. They aren't necessarily big dollar but fast movers for me and there are some pieces that sell for more.
I bundled all of my Banana dress shirts together that I not longer wore and sold it all together. Same for my Banana dress pants. Bundles are great to unload my old stuff and make some money back.
Becky, I learned so much from you. Appreciate your content so much. Thanks to you I started to pick up Talbots and got so excited when it sold. I mainly pick up based on style, material content but thanks to you I always search for Talbots. 💖✨
Another great video with super helpful info, even for those who have been at this for a while! Favorite B&b's are J. Crew & Banana Republic, soooo plentiful locally
I've heard some people say that Alfred Dunner doesn't sell for them. But here in rural MO (hey, neighbor, lol), I find a LOT of it, along with Coldwater Creek. Those two brands don't sell for much, but they sell pretty consistently for me.
Love selling Chico's and Eileen Fisher Pants, and Figs Scrubs. I use Vendoo, and have templates for most of the pant styles that I find (Bridette, Julie, Washable Crepe).
Oh, and my favorite bread and butter brand, so far, is Aerie (American Eagle) specifically waffle and thermal knit tops. :) I've been sitting on a sherpa teddy bear jacket for about 2 months so not as quick a flip there.
I just found your channel recently and love watching, very informative. Thank you! My bread and butter brands are Ralph Lauren and Chico’s where ai live in NE Alabama the pickings are very slim. The area is a middle class area and the better brands just arent found here.
I second J Jill. I can find it often and the larger sizes always sell pretty quickly for me. Also, funny that you used a Charter Club 100% cashmere sweater as an example. I found EXACTLY that yesterday when I was out sourcing. Although, that one I decided to keep for myself. 😅
These type of videos are so helpful and these comments are great! I’m just a couple months in my reselling business so I don’t have an abundance of data but I’ve had luck with Abercrombie & Fitch and Tahari Linen pieces. Thank you for offering the giveaway!
I recently found you. I have heard you describe the woman for J. Jill a couple of times now and it's like you're describing me lol. I had never heard of them, but now that I'm aware of them I'll need to keep my eyes open for myself. Thanks for the recommendation! 😂
It is hard to narrow down my favorite bread and butter brand but if I have to pick one it would be Lululemon. It is popular even though the value isn’t super high. I like selling men’s Lululemon pieces almost as much as women’s. 😊 I love your top btw even if the tie isn’t tied. 😂
My favorite items to sell are Jessica London printed wrap dresses sizes 16-22. Every now and then I can find them NWT. I buy them all (by all I mean 2 or 3)
One of my sleeper bread and butters is Walmart jeans brands if they're NWT. They'll only sell between $15 to $20 but I've never had one for more than a month or two. The B&B I get excited about are vintage skirts, dresses and sweaters.
I love love love mature ladies brands and styles. I know it sounds silly but I get super excited when I find fun quirky designs from Chicos and Talbots :)
Yes!!
There are some ladies brands that always sell for me like Catherines and Jones New York. They cater to the mature & professional lady.
Really? Hmmmmm … I generally pass them by. Note to self: “stop passing them by”. 😉
I love selling sketchers and crocs ! They do sooo good 🎉
I started reselling part time about a year and a half ago. I love selling all of the bread and butter brands mentioned here...and I have Death Mountains in my basement because I enjoy thrifting entirely TOO MUCH!!!! Thanks for your awesome content!
I love selling plus size J. Jill and substantial Banana Republic pieces. Great video!
I pretty much always pick up Zara when I see it lol
Calling out your tie situation really solidified how much I enjoy you! 😂 You are my people! 🙂
lollol I WAS SO DISTRACTED WATCHING THIS BACK. It was awful and only got worse and worse somehow as the video progressed lol
Lately I’m loving to sell Abercrombie & Fitch! J. Crew has historically been a best-seller for me too!
Museum Store scarfs, umbrellas, and jewelry sells well for me. Also some of the vintage old navy tee shirts.
My favorite B&B is Eileen Fisher. Sometimes can take a bit of time, but always sells for me!
Talbots and J Crew are my favorite bread and butter brands. Great video! Gives me hope since I mostly only find bread and butter brands at my local thrift shops.
I love selling World Market dresses, coverups, tops, etc. Not worth too much but they are consistent. Never hear anyone talk about that one. Pick me!😂
Id agree on this. The style is unique and they are definitely worth the pickup if you can get them cheap enough
I used to find World Market a lot.. not so much anymore. I always pick it up. It's fun store.
Fabulous suggestion! I agree 😊
Maybe not a specific brand but I love the sleepwear section! I have found amazing stuff there that moves quickly and can sometimes get some great money
Me too .. Vintage always sells
Me too. Love the silk ones!
My favorite bread and butter brand is White House Black Market. They usually have great blazer jackets that are in demand for career wear.
I love selling Patagonia and Ariat. Love watching your videos. They are awesome! Thank you Becky!
Levi’s outerwear popularity lies in the denim jackets and trucker jackets. Their heavier coats can also do great but they’re know for denim and trucker.
absolutely! Their denim jackets can do so well.

I find alot of Zara at my local bins store :)
Sadly, another brand I've never seen locally.
Really? This brand is very common here in Germany and I always wonder if they would sell
My fave is LL Bean, J Jill, J Crew and Talbots
My favorite bread and butter brands are absolutely Chico's and Lauren Ralph Lauren - plentiful here in Mississippi especially at yard sales!
I love Crown & Ivy. In my area, it does well.
I'm Canadian and started selling in the U.S. on Poshmark and trying to learn what the Bread & Butter brands that are most popular there. I'm so jealous of you - I would love to live in Canada. It sounds like you sell on both US and Canadian markets. Very cool!
I like Fashion Nova... I don't know if that's a b and b brand, but it sells for me...
I've been liking selling Abercrombie & Fitch! Some great tips in here, thank you! I follow a lot of sustainable ootd pages which I love the concept of but aren't always as trendy, I'll have to hunt down some more trend based IG pages.
My favorite bread and butter brand is Ralph Lauren!
Must be where i live because i do great with Maurices jeans. Reformation i never heard of. I live on the border of Connecticut and Massachusetts
Thank you for your videos. Always informative and your vid editor is hysterical. My fav bread & butter brand is Abercrombie & fitch. I actually found an old t shirt from my college days that I sold for $35.

Hi, I am outside of Phoenix and find a lot of Wrangler jeans, especially men's. Do you find a certain style and/or size sells best (both men's and women's)?
I’m a new reseller (started in August) and just sold my first wrangler snap button shirt. There were a ton of likers.
Wow this is a great video. Thank you
Love your presentations
I've done well with Goodfellow, also woman Within. Thanks for the video!
Hands down Abercrombie and American Eagle are my best bread and butter. Aerie, AE’s sister brand, also does amazing.
what from aerie does well for you? I keep passing it up but should do more research.
@@beckyparkco aerie sweaters, sweatshirts sweatpants, jumpsuits and flare leggings are typically what I pick up. Definitely the more substantial stuff. And like you said recency is a big deal. Banana Republic is probably my best b&b brand.

Bread and butter that I'll pick up are plus size brands, Chicos, Torrid, Catherines.
Skechers shoes is a favorite bread and butter brand for me! They sell so consistently and I find them everywhere!
My favorite bread & butter brand is Ralph Lauren Polo, maybe not the least expensive to pick up, but high quality & timeless.
I love selling Eileen Fisher, especially their linen pieces. And J Crew, especially their blazers, always sell great for me too!
Mall brands is a great topic. Bread and butter for me is Chicos for Travelers and Zenergy lines.

I do so well with plus size Gloria Vanderbilt as a bread & butter

Great tipd!!
You're making that content - I'm inspired, thank you! ✨️
I bundled all of my Banana dress shirts together that I not longer wore and sold it all together. Same for my Banana dress pants. Bundles are great to unload my old stuff and make some money back.
SO smart. Yeah - selling BR shirts individually sucks the life out of me lol
Becky, I learned so much from you. Appreciate your content so much. Thanks to you I started to pick up Talbots and got so excited when it sold. I mainly pick up based on style, material content but thanks to you I always search for Talbots. 💖✨
