Hello Beau, My name is Raul, and I am very new to eBay. I started my store (Bailley's Closet) in May of this month. I've researched and viewed countless of videos and folks doing this for a living. I must say YOU are the most trustworthy and sincere person I have seen doing this. And wanted to say thank you! You are a big part of me actually doing this. Your tutorials and guidance make this seem way less intimidating. I am in my 50's and work fulltime in Retail but my goal is to do this fulltime someday. You’re such an inspiration to me! It’s hard to find videos longer than 20 minutes on this topic. I started 2 months ago with 1k in sales so far just from my own wardrobe. It took weeks before my first sale but once I realized this was possible I started investing my mornings into reselling for a side hustle (I work 50-60 hour weeks at my waitress job bc I dropped out of school). Now that I’ve realized how fun it is to be your own boss I plan to eventually go full time! Sales keep getting better as I learn and this month I’m projecting 1.5k
My long term plan is to invest in a 5,000 sqft warehouse on my parents land and hire a couple employees. If I can serve 30-40 ppl at a time for 8-12 hours a day I know I can be successful with this.
I wish I could give this video a million thumbs up Beau! You inspire me to learn more so I can share that learning. I cannot think you enough for sharing your knowledge. The timing is definitely from above as I soon transition from a full-time educator/part-time educator to a full-time reseller/part-time educator for a season:) Great stuff right here!! Excellent video!! I have watched so many of your videos!! Great idea to write down goals. I want to do 3-5 listings a day to start. My first listing was on 4-30-2024. Right now my average is 2-3 per day. I can tell I’ve gotten much faster at listing items. Had issues and I was getting frequent error messages about the photos on my listing. I had to take screenshots of the pics and then delete them, crop, and upload a 2nd time. I figured out a work around that helped a lot. I take the pics on my phone then upload. If I take pics from the eBay app - that’s when I got the error message. I was gone most of the pm today and not able to take any pics this pm when I got home due to lighting. I bought some LED lighting but they aren’t bright enough. I am returning them and have ordered brighter lights. I needed to do something so I created drafts on eBay and all I have to do is take pics tomorrow during daytime to finish up 3-4 listings.
I'm having trouble, I label my clothes via hanger , i take a picture of the number and include it in the listing a d honestly it looks terrible, it helps me find the hanger item quick, but looks terrible for the customer/ listing , almost like a deal breaker😂 help me please how do I inventory correctly? I hear a customer can do a charge back on you if you sell an item as not as described? can that happen? What charges can ebay charge if you get a customer who is not happy with their purchase?
Hey beau, quick question i have about 140 men's polos and gold shirts, when i am doing sell through say ralph lauren polos, do i do general ralph lauren or would i do raple lauren XL for better numbers for sell through or just Ralph Lauren Mens polo and pull the 90 day sell though? Thanks

this video is overwhelming to be honest. I have not tried ebay for like 4 years as I gave it up and went to selling locally but now I am gonna give ebay 110% now. I will be sourcing on good will which my costs are 5.00 per item or higher. I am excited to see what damage i can do to my store with 666 reviews lol
There’s good information here, but only watch this two hour and eighteen minute video if you are okay with an ad every five minutes. Literally. I timed it. If you’re trying to listen while driving or doing other things, it is extremely time consuming and distracting. You either have to stop what you’re doing every five minutes to skip the ad, or you have to listen to as much ad time as content. I get that creators need to make money, but this is excessive.
I wrote you right after you’d returned from your RUclips hiatus… you said you were clearing out the store and getting out of eBay by the end of the year, I’m confused? You’re continually ramping up inventory and doesn’t seem like that’s your plan???

I’m hoping I’m not gonna get porked on the shipping though. lol. they don’t always show all the options I ended up using FedEx rather than UPS they suggested and saved $20 that I would’ve had to pay above what they paid for shipping. Have to be on top of these things in business Hey $20 here $20 there. All adds up

How can I get a store review

This has happened maybe 1-2 times out of 20k transactions on eBay.
So how do you sync your thermal printer to eBay.
I just plug it into the USB input and it gets detected by my PC

I ordered a bunch of priority padded flat rate USPS envelopes just this month in 7-2024 are these accepted for USPS ground advantage?
No they will not be accepted as USPS Ground Advantage.
