- Last year Outering Road in Nairobi was described in a United Nations (UN) global road safety meeting to be one of the most dangerous roads in the world.
World Resources Institute (WRI) acting Global Urban Mobility Director Claudia Adriazola-Steil stated during the meeting that the road had claimed many lives with many of them being pedestrians.
In the meeting held in New York, United States, Claudia said that the Outer Ring Road was, however, not the only example of dangerous roads in the world. - Наука
Enock you are the best ,nobody in Kenya can give us detailed documentaries like you .🔥
Ooh najaribu tu ndugu. I believe there are many who do a better job than I do...Maybe we haven't just discovered them.
He is a game

Thanks Abu. Much appreciated. Pole pole tutafika.Wangwana walisema, "ipo siku"
The part where a lane ends abruptly is deadly especially at night. Something needs to be done urgently. My namesake kindly document one about magadi road and the need for urgent expansion
How bad is it? Haven't been there
@@KenyanHistorian So bad, narrow road, with many potholes, no lane markings steep descents, narrow culverts, rowdy matatus and contractor supposedly doing the recarpeting has abandoned site 3 weeks now leaving boulders at the side of road. Just to mention a few
Thank you for highlighting this, roads arr poor
This road has never been officially launched....the foundation stone is at the Doonholm Flyover...meanwhile there is no footbridge in Doonholm...also the Doonholm Flyover was supposed to be constructed in a manner that traffic joining Jogoo road from thika road, kariobangi and umoja join seamlessly by going down then up but only 3 turns were constructed instead of 4.Also within Doonholm there is a Service lane which has been occupied by traders and very difficult to manuevor with a vehicle....the traders need to be evicted ASAP and the drainage unclogged.
Thanks for the additional observations and information. Let's hope KURA will do something about it.
@@KenyanHistorian I really hope so...this plus all the concerns raised in the documentary is very urgent...one life is too many to loose.
It was actually launched by Hon. Uhuru
@a-zpiece9731 Yes, it was launched
did you try and interview KURA or KENHA? i would love to see a journalist take them to task@@KenyanHistorian
This is on another level historian🎉🎉 good work.
The concern authorities should look at this.
Thank you so much, Prof. My hope is that the Kenya Urban Roads Authority will have a look and act. Thank you sir.
Thanks you for showing this
i used to always wait for your news part every time, i love your documentaries very detailed
My fav channel when it comes to documentaries, kudos man
Asante sana..
Keep up with the good work buddy. We are here to support you.
Thank you, I will
KURA should conduct a road safety assessement, carry out continuous road safety awareness and sensitizations for all road users, re-design and construct new footbridges for the outering road.
haha. joke of the year. they only started marking ngong road a week ago after 5 years of accidents, deaths and complaints. bumps dont follow standards or regulations, police are on the take, and the road agencies are just fattening pens for the pigs
That pink PSV matatu driver is using his phone while driving..Wah!!!
keep up enock am one of your biggest fans i watch every new post you make minute by minute you are going far
Enoch this is a good piece, enyewe mwanahabari will always be journalist kila kitu ni taarifa
Napia the influx of hawkers in almost all footbridges along Thika Superhighway,
Excellent job
Very Educative. Kudos👊
Ukimaliza hii kuja hii stretch ya NHIF-GREEN Park terminus, when Upper-Hillians are headed home after 5pm, its a night mare.
Gud jb bro Enock,i love the way you present your vlogs, absolutely brilliant narration🎉❤ keep it up man..congratulations 🎊 👏 💐,Dubai
Your documentaries are on another level, kudos
I really appreciate sir.
Izo mutura nlikula za 350 kama sjui....tamu sana
I'm in love with this channel
Thank you so much sir. Appreciated
Along Mombasa rd driving towards Imara daima and i swear motorcycles driving aginst traffic on a highway daily... nobody is stopping this madness
At Alsops, pipeline, fedha, kware, people will run across the road under the footbridge.
Wow! Nice. Great job!
Hii road kutembea solo usiku most prob utatiwa ngeta
very informative
Glad you liked it
Underpass are usually dirty and smelly to make it worse they lack lighting.
Isn't it safer than using the streets? In our city they use the under path day and night. Please explain Thanks.
But isn't it safer than walking in the middle of the streets? It makes no sense.
Gaiii!!!Mumeona hiyo mututra ya mbao! kwani naishi wapi
Ii roadi hukua mbaya walai .Kwanza io masaaa ya jioni hukua noma.
It's a 10km road that has 11 footbridges. And if you are keen enough, people cross haphazardly just where the footbridge is.
Negligence of pedestrian and motorist
because we have no jay walking laws in kenya. or if they exist, never enforced
Was once hit by a motorbike near Donny roundabout which threw me towards an oncoming truck. I almost died. Injured my foot but have since recovered. 10yrs down the line am left with scars for memory.
Uyo dereva anaangalia simu ameogopa😂
Hakuna mtu amenotice hiyo mtura inakaa tamu😂
Ni tamu sana. Huwa sipendi mutura but nilikula nikaitisha ingine... he he
Nice mtura
Kudos i like the documentary about Kenya
Footbridge unaweza porwa usiku.
Bana
My uncle died by hit and run on this crazy road :(
Pole sana kaka. May he continue R.I.P
What annoys me most is that there are no street lights on the roads for along time now.
Well Done! Enock💯
We have tens of bodies that manage our roads; KeNHA, KURA, KERRA, NTSA, Kanjo, Kenya Police etc.
All they do is collect 'taxes' and move on with their lives.
That stretch, all the way from Allsops to Tajmall and back have no light
The roads just end anywhere, for instance as your near Donholm, the road just ends in the middle of the road. Same case from Tajmall as you approach Fedha
The same case is Northern Bypass, after Utawala. Terrible road though newly constructed
You clearly are unschooled
@@BizSasayou don't make sense
Pia Fridah is an MD of KBS?
My cousin died on this road pale inashikana na ThikaRD........something needs to be done ASAP, this road is a death trap.
At 4:03 matatu kadere caught in 4K ultra HD.
He he
I like you content and i really wonder what our government is doing about that. The death tall is alarming yet no one seems to mind that those are peoples kids and parents out to win for their families daily bread and getting back a death report is so heartbreaking.
Sometimes it's not the government. Someone using the wrong lane knowingly and crossing in undesignated area. It's us putting our lives at risk.
The police has to enforce law both to pedestrians n drivers that does not follow traffic rules.
Good reporting Eno'
True..kwanza m hupita na senke yangu nikicross kuenda fedha
Oh God have mercy 😮
The documentary is perfect. If only Sikolia could translate the Kiswahili version to English, and let the thing go global.
I’ve driven on this road. It is one of the worst designs I have ever seen in Kenya 🇰🇪.
Good work Enock. Let's hope some re-design will be done.
Wait, this is a brand new highway and it's falling apart already. They should have built barriers to prevent people from crossing the road and have highway traffic cops patrol regularly.
I use this road daily and I've stated how careless and incompetent people in government are......this to me shows the effects of corruption because the contractors am very sure have a standard on how to build roads that favour both motorists, cyclist, and pedestrians. It's basic knowledge but the person or people who ware tasked with this road clearly ate some money, cut cost as much as possible thus the contractors had to do what they were paid.
pelekea hii murkomen we hear what they have to say.
Eastern bypass too is a nightmare
Watu wa duthi wako na kiburi sana i was hit by one of them on zebra crossing in Westland near consolatta school ringroad Westland
Wrong mentality
You don't respect them on the roads too q
One time I went to the barber, after reaching, got to ask where's the guy who shaves me.. silence then I'm told he got hit just under the fly over with a car and died. Body was taken to city mortuary the rest is history
worth subscription
I will never ever defend boda boda riders. I know how uncouth they can be
I had one of my friend who used to live kwandege and worked at quarry he used to cross the road at quarry bridge but he got late one day upon crossing he saw two guys from front and back who tried to attack he was forced to jump from the brdge landing on the stairs of it down thank to God he only broke his finger .. so so dangerous those bridges. Are so dangerous
That pink matatu driver is definitely irresponsible driver
The matatu driver's reaction at 4:16 after realizing he was being filmed texting while driving😊
While driving i am more watchful of the bodas more than other vehicles, and while am on foot , am more worried about accidents by bodas more than cars. You can sometimes never see them coming, always speeding, never following traffic rules and if anything happens, chaos will reign
I agree 💯
Ohh God na hii ndio barabara Mimi utumia
All road users need to change their attitudes on how they use the road. But most importantly the body incharge of roads should put things in order. A proper road is more than just having tarmac.
They have now started fixing the lighting from Tajmall, thanks for your effort the documentary had reached the necessary authorities
How expensive is it to build a footbridge using the allocated funds😳...mp wao just grinning to the bank all year round
Hiyo sio kazi ya mp.
KENHA, KURA, Traffic NTSA. Mp is just a law maker. Ama unaelewa aje. Heri ungesema governor.
public driver on the phone endangering lives. with camera evidence why can't it be charged in the court of law? first channel i have seen at least highlight bodaboda menace. it seems the govt has given up on traffic offenses
Anybody using that road is just one step to their maker. Very dangerous. Very deadly.
It's so sad and shameful of the government which can't even put streets lights or in such a highway they could erect several foot bridge's
Matatus just made Outer Ring Road terrible, they just stop whenever, make U-Turns whenever, you wonder are there no serious authorities manning this road? The foot bridge also is full of things hence people prefer they risk to cross the road
Exactly 💯
I believe how roads are built is the problems. They should have pavement for pedestrians and another for bikers and carts just like Europe
Francis Gaitho always talks of the Engineering aspects of tenderpreneurs, the budgets are allocated but the contractor will not fulfill all the constructions to be done. Sad!!
Sakaja...do something to this deadly road l
Very dangerous indeed.Pedestrians fear using footbridges because of muggings
I once witnessed a lady being knocked down by a motorbike at The Outer Ring road and the mistake wasn't her. She crossed the road from the other side coming to Fedha stage and the road was clear only to be knocked down with a motorbike that was using the wrong side. After the motorbike hit her, it sped off like nothing had happened and all people could do is just watch and ask her if she is hurt
Usiku jiza tupu weeeh
Waiyaki way has sudden unmarked bumps can you check on it
Very dangerous
Transport ministers please install in n under security lights to avoid robbery
Vandalism forms part of the dark nights on outering road.
blame the government contractors you dont live there to understand how those roads are built ,or even you aint an architecture , any architecture can tell you the roads design there was misfit
Kangundo road is another one
2023..alone we lost 23people
"Ama kwako iko sawa?" ....man has to be sure
Unmarked roads cause a lot of deaths along roads
Pedestrians ignore the footbridge at mutindwa an pipeline, i have personally seen more than 3 people getting knocked down.
How did they construct this road without considering street lights and pedestrian crossing 🚸 there are foot bridges but are so dark and inhabited by criminals ☠
The lighting was there but if you enquire you'll find they were vandalized, so how many times will they be replaced if the society itself is not appreciating their presence 😮😮😮🤔🤔🤔
Sad!😢
This road at night Wacha tu 🙌
13:50 county iweke speed bump kama nne hivi na maximum 20kph hiyo itapunguza vifo vya watu.
Huezi eka speed bumps kwa highway engineers walilala kwa kazi Yao
The road has very few foot bridges and they are dark and infested by thugs and hawkers who are above the law. The lights are always vandalized on the road and on the foot bridges. Na haukukutana na ngombe bado! Try the underpass under the bypass, North Road uuliwe. To join the highway from pipeline its crazy.
Then it's not marked. Garbage blocks drainage kukuonyesha it floods and it's crazy. Matatus on Easlandroutes are owned by cops so they follow their own rules blocking traffic as they see fit! Outering is just a nightmare.
There should be street lighting at least it's quite dark.
So nobody is talking about the matatu driver who was operating his phone while driving speedily and how he switched attention after noticing the camera looking at him😂😂😂😂
Add more foot bridges and put up barriers in the middle
Can we also clean our streets all these unemployed people
The road have not meet the needs it was intended for, this is not new to the kurra and they know it
Our guy needs Urgent Security.
