The point about skin is very true. A perfume from rituals which I have lasts about 5 hours on my skin, but when I looked up some reviews, most of them said it would last like half an hour

You are not joking about some not readily washing off. On me in cold weather I can apply Amouage’s “Interlude” in the morning, shower that night and and still detect it on me. Think I have after after heavier applications of “Blue de Chanel” and “Herod” by Marly, which is great because I never get tired of those two.
youre right about the temperature. I live in Jamaica and even fragrances like y edp evaporate very quickly during the day. i still pick up a little bit on my skin after like 7 to 8 hours though. but here fragrances work better in the evenings and night.

Probably the thing about living in a quite tropical weather is also affecting my fragrance wear, so I've pretty much given up.

I looked this topic up myself when I got into fragrances. The most common health risk are rashes and skin irritations or allergic reactions. That's why some fragrances got watered down. Many people assume that the companies just wanna save money (which is true most of the time), but actually many water down their fragrances bc of new regulations by the EU. I couldn't find any correlation between more dangerous risks like cancer (since perfume contains alcohol, it's also a little carcinogenic I assumed), but there isn't any. Health risks are an important topic but we can be 99%+ sure that we don't have to worry

I have 12 fragrances currently and most of them have decants (all except dior homme intense, lhomme ideal edp, and stronger with you intensely since they are super sweet)
I dont do on my clothes because it last more than I want to😭 especially in colder weather I cannot laundry them every single time I wear, but I want to wear another fragrances on same clothes without being mixed😭 Well... It last on my clothes even if I wear fragrances only on my body in colder weather anyway🤣😂😂😂 colder weather fragrances are usually so strong🤣
i've got two fragrances that last very differently from what most reviews say. i've got montblanc explorer which lasts for 8 hours on me and reviews say that it has poor performance. on the other hand i also have ysl y le parfum that reviews say that it has good performance and on me it only lasts for about 3 to 4 hours. i think skin chemistry is very important and don't believe in everything that reviews say.
I agree with skin chemistry... before i married my wife, she loved the scent of Armani on me, 20 years later, she disapproves of it. Foods that we consume may affect how they smell on us and aging process as we get older our hormones change therefore not smelling how we remember them.

Literally no fragrances last on me, either that or I go 100% nose blind, I cannot smell anything on my wrist pulse point past 3 hours, and I own 10 "beast mode" fragrance 😢
One of my all time favourite perfumes Lacoste red doesn't last long at all can you recommend how I can make it last longer or if there's clone out there
My dior sauvage edp is rain water, dosent last and ambroxin is not there. Very dissapointing, i have tested them many times, but one i bought is totally different, quite sad.

@@Thesilentwolf7610 They definitely project longer than that too but of course fragrances will get weaker as time goes on. If you want fragrances with monstrous performance you can go with scents like spicebomb extreme, mancera red tobacco or nasomatto black afgano.

What a bunch of BS !! I can't get more than 2hrs from some of the best most expensive designer colognes nomatter what i do ? I've bought isoEsuper ambrose boosters and spray 15-20 times and still no more than 2hrs. And I NEVER get compliments and I have some of the supposed best performers out there. So what gives ??

I did smell Dior savauge a few times on other people.
Travel decants are a must in a hot climate.

High 90s and high 90s humidy here and it will kill a fragrance so spray heavy in summer.we basically have 40 days of winter at about 40 degrees

YSL Y le parfum lasted on me for more than 8 hours. I don’t know if it’s because I got the smaller 60ml bottle.

Ysl y edp doesn’t last at least for me my batch is 2021 and it’s horrible doesn’t perform well or project. Have a 200 ml bottle, smells great though.
