Kong getting jumped and then clutching a 4v1 is my favorite scene

Kong is special he is literally built different and I feel it all comes down to his life struggles he had no choice but to have that battle spirit. With that being said he also doesn't see himself as Superior he is a true King I loved how soft he can be and turn that battle rage when he has to.
My favourite scene is godzilla going to sleep
I hated the scenes with Tiamat and scylla because they were so short WHYYYYYY

Like cmon, Tiamat, the kaiju that got a large chunk of a comic fighting godzilla meaning it was as much of a challenger as the mutos (in my opinion) gets chopped up into like 5 tiny equal pieces like godzilla was making sushi, just they could have don’t so much more with Tiamat. That’s my main problem with this movie
I think the main reason I was dissapointed was Godzilla, mothra, skar king, shimo, scylla and tiamat all got barely any screen time, the entire movie and story felt super rushed to me, which is why more time for these characters was not allowed. Even the no gravity fight, and final fight in rio all felt too short. Idk prolly a me problem

It was a roller coaster ride for sure. But let's be honest, the main villain was a letdown. They did not even come close to the threat of KG or MG.

Scarking was just linky, and shimo is just a pet, lol. Very disappointing. But I like it and will see it again. I want this franchise to thrive

Not the best monsterverse film but i still had a blast, i went in as a fan and enjoyed what i watched, my wife and kids loved it so thats all that matters to me.

@Media Madness - here in Prague…the premium format Imax screenings here in Prague have been 95% empty despite it being a huge 4 day holiday weekend with huge influx of people in town. Dune 2 premium format screenings were 98% sold out for the first 2 weekends and pretty full last weekend also [Dune 2 opened Feb 28]…
I’m betting theater operators will bump Godzilla x Kong out of Imax/premium formats after this weekend.

It bought in 285 million globally opening weekend. Dune is at 626 million *5 weeks in* so no clue wtf you're talking about ?? lol maybe Prague is just different but the rest of the world is tuned in
In the US, I went the day after it opened. It was sold out then about a week later went to see it in IMAX 3D and that was almost sold out! Prague must just not have a lot of Monsterverse fans!

The VW commercial is exactly what I thought too. I seen pretty much the same things you did, I just thought the little monkey was strange looking all together. I expected more of a threat from what they built up. The bad guys was nowhere near the threat of Ghidorah or mecha godzilla. I really wished the would go back to the grounded movies like 2014 and skull Island. It was a fun movie to watch, but in now way had the suspense of the first two in the monsterverse. Kong handed skar king his ass right from the beginning, how was that the greatest threat to the world yet? Shemu wasn't a total badass like I figured. Still a fun movie. I would be happy with just stand alone Kong movies, they can put a human element behind him, that can't be done with Godzilla. I would prefer stand alone movies if both of them and make them grounded again.

Feal to him, And plus godzilla needs some new form and this new feal to him with the pink feals great because im bored of this same old blue the pink is a great lead up to making the blue more important and better fealing color really.

No way! Jia and her friendship with Kong is the heart of these movies. It's what gives Kong depth and feeling. The thing that makes Kong great is that he ISN'T "a beast," he has a heart and he cares.
Movie was awesome, saw it last night on IMAX. I will going to see it again on IMAX 3D. I wish that I had a motion theater in my area. The action in the movie was grest, the human element did not take away from the movie, it was needed to give you a break from all of the Monster/Titan action. I was wanting more and was a little concerned about it's run time. Hopefully they do a Kong prequel about the great ape war and how Scare King came into power and gain control of Shimo. Overall I give this movie a 4 out 5. Definitely worth checking put 🙏🏾✌🏾❤️

The imax screenings here have been 95% empty all weekend…Monday is a holiday here also…and the biggest Imax here has 3 screenings…so far with a total of 13 sold seats. It’s bombed…hard.

These movies are just meant to be fun and mesmerizing to watch the script the storyline the actors take a backseat to those big dumb monsters going at it it's like watching wrestling you know it's not real but it's still fun to watch😊❤😊

The movie was brilliant! It was hilarious and action packed. Who gives a fuck about Godzilla Minus One. It had its time in the spotlight. Now it's all about Godzilla X Kong New Empire and it Delivered and the box office is agreeing. 2 thumbs up it's and awesome thrill ride!
