Ok, so hearing that there is a “deeper” part of the hollow earth just gave me flashbacks to that old cartoon “Slugterra.” Where they are already in the “Caverns” which are underground pockets of livable space that host human and humanoid civilizations… but as we find out there are DEEPER caverns cut off from the normal caverns where this evil race live… Also wait… if the “subterranean” place is “below” Hollow Earth… wouldn’t that technically make it closer to the surface? Since any direction you dig in Hollow Earth would bring you “closer” to the surface of Earth?(aka the top of the mantle)
I think it’s more layers, kinda like an onion. So it’s hard to assume that there are more holes within hallow earth itself. I mean Hallow earth is like the ocean itself largely unexplored, plus in future movies this gives the writers time to world build.

The reason why Gia is the last living member of the Iwi tribe in Skull Island is because King Ghidorah's Category 6 hurricanes that merge with the surrounding storm barrier.
Imma be frank, I am a bit of a fan of the serious Godzilla movies, but I also do enjoy myself a spectacle movie with big lizard and big monkey fighting other big lizard and monkey. It ain’t for everyone I know but honestly it feels like one of those fun-to-watch old Godzilla movies with the flying dropkick and the victory dance
What I like about the American Godzilla/Kong movies is they're just leaning into what they are. They're silly movies with silly lore and they're not embarrassed about that. You kinda need a few dumb, non-pretentious movies to offset the glut of fart sniffing garbage we have been enduring.
And they're probably setting up a baby Kong and baby Zilla movie. Which sounds awful but I'm all for it.
The good kind of schlock that used to fill out a monster movie marathon, except with CGI instead of rubber suits.
Go watch any godzilla movie that isn't 55, shin or Minus 1 and come back to your comment
@nanu321 they're different genres tardo
@@nanu321Or even watch the scene of Godzilla griefing for jr.
Dude its possible to make a big dumb monster movie with good writing. Pacific Rim is a good example of that. So that isn't an excuse.
the mc nugget comparison is interesting because I cant relate. There's times when I crave some mc nuggets, there's never really a time I crave specifically this type of movie.
Pretentious "intelligent" movie nerds like you are their own cringe breed I swear 😂
I grew up watching the Bay Transformers movies, I remember all of them and will forever and I'll forever love them.
I didn't even know there was a first Godzilla vs Kong movie and won't care about anything about them either and probably will forget that they exist in another week.
I loved it when kong threw sand in godzilla's eyes, and then started dragging him
So many movies are that way now. They’re enjoyable enough in the moment, but there’s nothing that really sticks with you after.
That's literally all action movies.
@@Sigma_Male_Anti_Female The big budgets are, all the smaller are by the numbers romcoms and stuck up dramas.
It has been that way for YEARS now!
@@Sigma_Male_Anti_Female Nowadays, yes. There was a time where you remembered action movies forever, like Die Hard, Robocop, Rambo 2, and Terminator 2, just to name a few.
@@mikehunt4986 Yeah we remember them because they are amazing classics. But when people first saw them they just went home and forgot about it.
hollywood nowaday just throw all budget into VFX and let AI write the plot, so no-brainers audience can "oh..wow.." then forget everything after that
btw, i immediately know the result in of the 3rd wish xD
RUclips's algorithm is GARBAGE. Found this video on your twitter. RUclips didn't notify me.
I love this review. 😂 You are great.
Possum: “The plot’s going to resolve.”
(The plot resolves.)
Possum: “Called it.”
"Godzilla x Kong is One of Those Movies You Forget as Soon as It's Over," Ironic because Godzilla fans haven't forgotten about it and you are the same person who said, "I think you would be disappointed that Mechagodzilla is only at the end of the movie and dies almost immediately," despite that the film is called Godzilla VS Kong and the statement is false.
.
Just saying, sometimes you make points that can easily be disproven.
“Godzilla X Kong is one of those movies you forget as soon as it’s over” The poor dude must have Alzheimer
Oh come on, we gotta keep these movies coming. Godzilla x Kong forever! :)
Ok, so hearing that there is a “deeper” part of the hollow earth just gave me flashbacks to that old cartoon “Slugterra.”
Where they are already in the “Caverns” which are underground pockets of livable space that host human and humanoid civilizations… but as we find out there are DEEPER caverns cut off from the normal caverns where this evil race live…
Also wait… if the “subterranean” place is “below” Hollow Earth… wouldn’t that technically make it closer to the surface? Since any direction you dig in Hollow Earth would bring you “closer” to the surface of Earth?(aka the top of the mantle)
You're using way too much of your brain on this crap.
I think it’s more layers, kinda like an onion. So it’s hard to assume that there are more holes within hallow earth itself. I mean Hallow earth is like the ocean itself largely unexplored, plus in future movies this gives the writers time to world build.
You must have dementia lol
I'm watching it now it's lost my attention several times and I started doing stuff on my phone. It has like 15 minutes of you can't hear the words ppl are saying you can hear everything else but you can't hear the people's words which annoyed the hell out of me.
The final fight was funny for some reason.
I like any version of Godzilla, both Minus One and GxK are some of my favorite.
Jesus christ this dude is about as into movies as my old granma haha
I watched PenquinzO moist meter, but I didn't expect it to be so boring when I saw it. Im also getting really annoyed by all these monster downsizing. I liked when godzilla killed one or two monsters and serving was cool, alittle rivalry with scar king and godzilla. The movie felt short not enough godzilla
It is interesting that you said it is one of those movies you forget as soon as you see it because the only time that happened to me was when I saw ISS International Space Station
I watched that video 5 times but I still can't remember what that video was about.
I loved it. It’s my favorite film of 2024 already, nothing will compete with this for me at all
The thing that annoys me in this movie is how a lot of the monsters look like asset flips of kong or zilla.
I remember almost all of it
Why is this becoming a trend to have an X between 2 rival-ish characters' names? There's Godzilla x Kong and soon there will be the Sonic x Shadow game. Maybe it's a big joke for anyone foolish enough to look up the titles online without filter search on.
I don't know but I absolutely HATE it. It's stupid.
i think its an anime thing. and its less intense than vs or even v.
@@bloodlinefilms It should just be "&" or "and." The director of Godzilla x Kong even said that the "x" is silent. The whole thing is just stupid.
@@mikehunt4986Even when. i look at anime titles I always read it as “Hunter Ex Hunter” and “Spy Ex Family.”
X = 'cross'
Like crossover.
Nah, it was gold. Loved it. Fun ride from start to finish.
i watched this on wednesday the opening night here, and.. i already forgot what happend
Two days after I seen the movie and I still remember it quite well!! 😂
yeah nope, no way. godzilla suplexing kong, kong turning suko into a weapon, godzilla turning scylla into a crab risotto, yeah i will remember all of those for awhile. nothing forgettable about this movie. maybe some of the human characters maybe for some people. but they were ok.
I love your content.
This was fun and was the best installment since Godzilla
Possum's voice is hilarious 😂 he sounds like a drunker Mike Stoklasa from Red Letter Media
I'd like a McKaiju with medium McMothman Rings...and to drink...a large Kong, please.
This movie was not minus one but boi did i get entertained. The movie is dumb in a good way and it just exists to be a dumb movie . I really enjoyed it although the final battle felt meh and the humans felt unrealistic. But other than than that it was a pretty good movie
Thanks for the joke, Mr. Possum...... 😅😅😅😅😅😅
LKJDÑLKSAJFLÑKASDJFÑLKJLÑKASJDFLÑK

Imagine trying to compare this movie to Minus One even after watching the trailers 😂
That would be stupid af 😂
No, it wouldn't.
Womp womp
Seeing this while eating the 10 nugget McDonald's menu.
I still wait for this movie to come out on digital I have not forgotten
"Evil Monkey people.." is this a "Congo" sequel, yeah... thats how old I am... cuz is THAT where the evil killer apes went after that movie?? Cuz they didnt die at the end of "Congo" after all??? Had high hopes till you put it like all this
Hey, I liked that movie.
@@igodreamer7096 me too, thought the book was even better. An it's one the movies they haven't tried a reboot of yet too.
@@robertagu5533 You know, I remember hearing for YEARS that Congo was this massive box office flop but it all actuality it grossed a little over three times its budget.
why did goblin turn on the stove?
"Entertaining in the moment, but I don't remember it" is exactly how I felt about Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, which is the last MonsterVerse movie I saw. If that standard has continued I might check the other movies out since I'm okay with dumb, forgettable fun.
It's funny because of the way you tell it.
I like it
It is crazy how the same IP can produce such wildly different movies less than a year apart.
Anyway I gave up on the Monsterverse movies after King of Monsters. The human element is usually kind of bad in kaiju movies but good lord I hated that entire family.
