- Join us for a weekend of racing at the prestigious Silverstone International Circuit. It's the season opener for the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Championship and the first time Luke gets to race in his new car, Daphne. We share the highs, lows and drama that inevitably ensues at a typical race weekend.

Keith and Luke settle into the Hilton Garden Inn which is right next to the start/finish line and discuss the upcoming championship, Luke's hopes and aspirations and give a low down on his main competitors for the title.
Testing goes well in the new car, named Daphne, and Luke feels confident that he will be able to translate that to the races.
After qualifying in second place just behind team-mate, Tom, Luke keeps his position and starts putting in consecutive fastest laps. At the half-way point, just as he is about to challenge for the lead, disaster strikes and his wheel breaks and he has to retire from the race.
With new wheels and some minor repairs to Daphne completed, he makes an epic drive in difficult conditions in Race 2 to go from 22nd to 6th place.
It's not long before he takes the lead in Race 3 but a minor mistake costs him a few positions and he comes home in 4th place.

I don't watch racing, but man, I found myself on the edge of my seat during the in car video. 😂 Way to go Luke, you looked awesome. Going from 22nd to 6th is amazing.

Love the new car, I never used to be into car racing after watching all of the racing vlogs (and all other vlogs, "Disney fan here") I actually like it and understand it more. When I watch the in car bits of the race I am on the edge of my seat willing for the race to go well 😀

We think it was a faulty wheel. The outer rim sheered off leaving the hub still attached
