    Today UC announced permanently test blind. But great point of how to still mention in the awards and recognition sections!

    If I want to do CS at UC Davis, should I apply to the School of Engineering or the School of Letters and Sciences?

    I applied to only UCLA and UC Berkeley as my reach schools and used CommonApp for my target and safe schools…would you recommend going back and applying to other UC schools as backups or just stick to the backup schools I applied to on Commonapp?

    • @soreyathach7314
      @soreyathach7314 2 года назад

      I’m a jr and depending on location I would still apply to other ucs as most of the schools are still top 50

    So unfair to not count SAT/ACT scores when we worked so hard to study. I couldn't afford SAT prep classes so studied on my own through free online stuff and scored really well. It's like med schools letting you become a licensed doctor without passing the MCATS. So crazy.

    • @sebootyaesthetic5209

  • @MandoIsSupaFly

    If UC are test blind, why can I still submit an SAT score on the application? If they were truly test blind wouldn’t they not allow me to submit a score ?

      It's such a dumb decision, all because some folks complaining through a lawsuit. Testing is the most fair criteria in the whole admissions process. There's so much room for fraud and wealth influence in the other areas.
