its insane ... 10hours of running almost perfectly through everything XD i have such nostalgica here XD i still remember when i played that as a kid and i had problems with beating Squid King or the 4 head drake thing XD ... best memories and congrats on thw world record :D
Yep Squid king is first harder boss in this game and Serpent isn't that bad when knowing that Gadwin normally single attack can hit all parts. Even Hydra later on is more awful boss. Also I would have better time also but I have been forgetting ad it here. Well it would be like 12 minutes faster which was amazing and I had great luck during that run. Especially amazing luck on the hardest bosses in this game.
Hmm it is interesting how much this video have views. Like I expected less than 100 as comes game which isn't exactly mainstream but not unknown either. Thanks for the all views which is really close to 1,5K. I try to remember put other videos here as well as I have better times and PC version having new glitch which I have couple runs but I probably would put the best time anyway here.
@@GamingtheOtterThere are couple big problems. They do not take easily any longer than like 4-5 hours of games at most. And then I do not have much time on my end currently. I would gladly take the spot, when having time and money to travel, if needed. Also it is known that long games are rarely part of anything else than their own events. Like the Grandia series had an event but I could not join because of the time as usual.
lol why did they port the ps1 version and not saturn... they didnt even add shadows back and water still looks awful among other things. could have easily been the definitive version but think ill stick with saturn. found this video wondering if remaster was any good. seems ok but very very lazy...
Levels 28-32 by end game. Higher than I expected. I didn't watch the whole thing but is that just experience gained from bosses or did you fight regular enemies too? I ask because I imagine avoiding or fleeing from encounters is faster for speed running.
Well there are few enemies to fight. Tower of doom the soldiers are impossible to avoid but mostly with fair play you beat them fast. Then slimes on dom ruins is small grind section. Mostly are just random fights which is easier to beat than escape when comes especially ambushes. And I do not expect anyone to watch this fully and I do have better times but I'm just lazy to put them here. But to the end it is mostly avoiding everything what you can.
Never knew you could cheese the Ruin Guard using a Dream Truffle on the boomerang, does it cause it to just glitch and keep it from attacking even once out of its confused state?
Yeah Ruin guard really not gonna recover after stunning the boomerang else than killing the boomerang. It is nice and only glitch for long time before finding way to skip some boss fights on HD remaster and only on PC version. Switch version and original just crashes with that soft reset glitch.

It's probably just outside of what would be considered obscure. There really are scads of 'em, and this one stands out pretty well.
