I loved Grandia ll, but never saw the first one till your run. I guess me being older this art style is awesome and wished that the second would have followed it. Great run by the way very entertaining!

Late answer but it is glitch that exists on remaster. Only works on PC because Switch just crashes when trying, Using soft reset feature while the blue animation goes. It just changes everything during fight. Mostly after the glitch, boss just comes back. It isn't really researched all the way as why it happens exactly but at least it is a thing.

Have you tried speedrunning with the Grandia Randomizer they have a function to skip some cutscenes
