Hormonal Balance Yoga practices and asana: Glad Glands (open level)

  • This is a sequential flow of practices that incorporate deep breathing, yoga asana and tapping to stimulate your glands from top to bottom. Starting in a seated position while triggering the pressure points on the forehead and back of the skull boosts the production of human growth and relaxation hormones. Practicing chalice mudra in Puppy pose opens up the throat and allows the thyroid glands to control metabolism and oxygen consumption. Intense tiger and fire breath bolster the parathyroids and regulate the calcium and phosphorus levels in the bones. Kneeling heart-openers and tapping into the thymus boost immunity. Sharp twists through the lower belly catalyze the pancreatic gland to control sugar levels. The adrenals are stimulated in Cs`obra pose to ensure healthy cardio-vascular and gastro-intestinal functions. The gonads are stimulated in Frog Pose and to enhance libido and procreativity. An inverted relaxation stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system response and makes your “glands”…. “glad”.

    Lost my period for a few months now due to being slightly underweight. Currently trying to eat more fatty plant foods and nourish my body back. Hopefully these yoga exercises will help!

      Don't worry you will get your period back. Keep on doing this sequence together with another Yogea routine for the endocrine system "Navigation reset".       Dear Mia, We actually have a migraine relieving practice on our channel which should help. You can do that one, and for the migranes make sure that you drink water amply and cut sugar and gluten from your diet!

    I went through a difficult early menopause , and now have such an imbalance of hormones am experiencing extreme discomfort during intimacy from lack of estrogen I believe as well as fatigue.

      Dear Lydiann, I would definitely recommend all of the hormonal balancing Yogea routines. I believe we have about four of them that are really helpful. But I also recommend to do a headstand every day for 3-5 minutes. This is the royal resetting poses and it actually balances the endocrine system in totality. If it is hard on your neck you can keep the toes curled under and have your hands beside your years and just lift the knees off the floor. That rabbit variation will give you the same effect. I also suggest for you to take some bio-identical estriol, which will reset your estrogen levels and will get rid of the vaginal dryness and fatigue. The one I recently suggested to another user is organic and harmless and it is a cream that you apply. Check out: BIOIDENTICAL ESTRIOL by ESTROLIFE and also Estrogen for Women by Life Extensions.       Yes, it is absolutely safe to do these poses. Try out our other hormonal sequences: Embodied Sustenance and Glad Glands. As you alternate all three, you will reap the best benefits.     What could help to put my higher testosterone levels back to normal? I had an outburst of pimples all over my body and there for I am now on the pill for a year, but that is not the cure, it just keeps things in control just as long as I take them.

Our Yogea hormonal balancing routines Happy Hormones, Glad Glands & Embodied Sustenance will aid in keeping testosterone levels down, however you have to regulate the levels with right supplementation and diet as well.     I just found out my progesterone is extremely low and my estrogen is slightly high (estrogen dominamce). I've been very sick. I am just starting out with yoga after not doing it for years. I love it. Question... any recommendations on a yoga routine to help with producing more progesterone? I want to have a baby in a few years. Thank you!!

      Thank you for your inquiry. Do not worry - if you are not old enough for menopause you will get your period back. Yoga is part of the lifestyle package that you need to consider, and this routine together with another Yogea routine Navigation reset will nurture your glands and help you regain your hormonal balance. However, I highly recommend for you to start taking the herbal supplement Vitex Berry by Gaia as soon as you can. You take two every morning for at least a year. It will help your ovulation to resume again and hopefully the period will come soon. Also acupuncture is great combined with Chinese herbs. Please, explore that option in conjunction with the Vitex Berry and see how it goes.       Thank you so much for responding so quickly! I have lost my period due to an eating disorder. I have been eating enough and at a healthy 20+ BMI for over a year now. It is really frustrating for me that my body has not healed yet. I am only 17, so I am pretty young. But my hormonal imbalance gives me horrible acne and it makes me feel terrible. I have tried vitex and maca, but it did not work for me unfortunately. I will definitely give the yoga a try!

      Hey :) I had the same problems. I lost my period för almost 5 years. I had many bad issuses with my body. I did a lot of exercise and I controlled my food. Than I stopped completely my exercise and did gently yoga and I tried to eat a whole plant based diet with a lot of carbs and healthy fats. I also tried to eat not that much Fiber, just a balanced diet. I gained weight and I stopped tracking cals. Yoga helped myself so much. I am on a good way to get an inner peace. You can try these things. Just live and be patient :)

      I would suggest that you try Yogea's prenatal sequence for the first trimester "Gift of life" instead of this one. This is pretty safe, but was not designed for pregnant women and we have prenatal sequences for all trimesters as well as universal ones. Check them out.       The facial hairs are a hormonal issue that needs to be addressed holistically. So I suggest you see a naturopath who will check all your hormones and glandular secretion and suggest a total body-mind plan to address the issue. Asanas are just an addition to this holistic regimen. I would say you could practice: RABBIT POSE, HEADSTAND, SHOULDERSTAND, FISH POSE, and SEATED FORWARD BEND.       Dear Vedavathi, I just responded to a lady who was suffering from a similar condition like yours. I had this as a young girl for months and what really helped me was my Yoga and Qi Gond practice. I would suggest you try and alternate all of Yogea's hormonal sequences (Embodied Sustenance, Navigation Reset, Glad Glands, Happy Hormones and pair them with some feminine routines like "Vibrant Womb", "Fertility Bliss", and "Glow-ying" . These routines contain all the possible poses and variations for resetting your mensrtual cycles. But as I mentioned above, you also have to get to the bottom of the amenorhhea and find out what caused it on a purely energetic and karmic level.
