Do we need to warm up before..?? I just cant do warm up in morning after waking up.. These yoga poses are so relaxing.. I fall asleep easily right after doing these.
Hi there! I try to create the sequences with a warm up and cool down incorporated into the flow. There shouldn't be a need for a warm up before or a cool down after. But everyone is different. I don't know if I have videos that would fit specifically into either of those categories. I recommend a quick RUclips search. Hope that helps! Be well!
Welcome, Alex! I'm happy you enjoyed it. Yay for acupuncture! I had my first acupuncture treatment last week and it was lovely. I hope you have a great experience too. Be well!
Each needle felt a bit different going in. They're very thin. Some pinched, some I barely felt. Once they were in each had a different sensation. It was very cool. I don't have PCOS. I specialize in it though. Be well!
Me too! This was my very first yoga video years ago. Used what I had at the time. Fortunately, I’ve been able to upgrade my equipment over time. We all start somewhere! 😊
I have been doing many weight loss exercises... But nothing went fruitful... So I'm trying this. Pls.... Pray for me to get back my periods.. And can u pls give me an assurance as a hope.. Coz I'm so disappointed
Hi Manoj. I'm sorry to hear you're feeling frustrated and discouraged. I hope you find the relief you're looking for. And please remember, there's so much more to health and menstrual cycles than weight. I always encourage people to focus on wellbeing instead of weight and it tends to help. I'm rooting for you! 🤗

Hi there! I have more info on fertility and PCOS on my site, www.livefertile.com, that I think you'll find useful. Pcosnutritioncenter.com is another great site for PCOS nutrition information.
Hi there! I’ll be working on three PCOS + Yoga projects over the next few months (an e-book, a 30 day challenge, and a course.) I was wondering if you’d be willing to beta test them/ review them. It would be totally free to you since your feedback would be invaluable. If so, send me an email at kendra@livefertile.com.
Hi there! Yoga certainly isn't a cure (there isn't a known cure for PCOS) but I've seen it help a lot of people improve their PCOS symptoms. I hope it does the same for you!
Hi I'm Mary Grace I have this chocolate cyst as per my obgyne and my ovary is retroverted this king of yoga can help me if I do this everyday? God bless ♥️
Hi Mary Grace. If you're asking can this practice resolve your chocolate cyst and change the position of your organs, the answer is, not to my knowledge. If you're asking can yoga, in general, support reproductive and overall wellbeing when practiced regularly, absolutely. Please remember, PCOS is not the same as ovarian cysts or chocolate cysts (an ovarian cyst filled with blood.) I do hope you find the sort of assistance and support you're looking for. Best wishes!
Hi there! That really depends on your schedule, what other forms of movement you’re doing, and how you’re feeling. I often recommend practicing yoga at least 3 times per week (doesn’t only have to be this video) but some people will do more or less. Have fun exploring what works for you. Be well!
Hi there! It’s hard to say for certain what might help without seeing you and asking you questions but you might want to try out these tips: 1. Place padding under the palms of your hands to lessen the angle your wrists are in. 2. Try the cat/ cow sequence seated or kneeling rather than on your hands and knees. Hope that helps! Be well!
@@LiveFertile Best advice! I think due to all the information invading our lives, we forgot to listen to our intuition and our body. Thank you for all the guidance!
Hi "live fertile", I am also suffering from PCOS. Dr told me to lose weight do exercise take pills but i wanted to focus on diet and exercise/yoga. I have watched several videos but when I was watching yours I felt relaxed. I was so tensed that omg what will happen to me I have missed my periods. Will I recover or not am not able to sleep due to tension. But after watching your video am so calm satisfied that yes I will be ok. And I have decided to do a walk with Leslie sansone and yoga with you in morning and in evening also I will repeat the same. My height is 160cm and weight is 52 kg. Will this much of workout will work?? And in food am avoiding packaged foods and outside food. Freshly home cooked food with lots of veggies and lentils. Pls suggest will this much be enough to recover soon??
Hi Jyoti! I'm happy you found a sense of calm and confidence in your body's ability to find balance. There are so many things to consider when deciding what type of activity and how much activity is right for your body. I really can't say based on height and weight. We're all so unique, our bodies are so different. I encourage you to find a doctor and dietitian you can trust to guide you. I'm wishing you all the best! 🤗
Hi there! I wouldn't depend on it alone to address that, though there is research to suggest it can improve hirsutism. Only one way to know how or if it will work for you and that's to give it a try. I have an entire video on hair growth and hair loss that you might find useful. You can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/8J3KxaUNHZw/видео.html
Hi, my gyno has advised me to loose weight and exercise to recover from PCOS. Will just doing this every morning help me come out of it? Or do I need to compliment this with more exercise? Also, the pace and the way you teach is really wonderful. I have been exploring yoga videos and trying to learn it over the years but they all seemed so hard. You make us perform the same so easily with simple instructions!❤
Hi there! There's a lot of debate around whether weight loss should be recommended for PCOS. I tend to encourage clients to focus on how they're eating, sleeping, and moving instead of the scale. I'll be doing a video on why focusing on weight loss can actually make PCOS worse. I know that doesn't necessarily answer your question but I do think it's important to know that there are other ways to manage PCOS symptoms that are far more effective and less harmful than trying to lose weight. Yoga has been shown in the research to be beneficial for PCOS symptoms even without weight loss. Something to consider. I'm happy to hear you've enjoyed the pace of the video! Simple can be super effective. Be well, Kendra
They also told me to eat healthy and one day you will be fine...BT when ... And what about this pcos...I mean I want to get rid off this problem... And if these yoga exercise is beneficial for me then I can do it easily ...
Yoga can be beneficial to improve the symptoms of PCOS but there isn't a known cure for PCOS. If you and your doctor feel it's safe for you to do yoga, it might be worth trying. :)
I suspect that I might have PCOS since I have a bad hairiness issues but haven't been diagnosed yet. Do you know if this kind of yoga can help with this issue?
Hi there! Good question. I really can’t say. Hirsutism is only one of many symptoms of PCOS and there are other reasons one might have unwanted hair growth besides PCOS. I hope you’re able to get a diagnosis for your concerns soon. Once you know what’s behind your symptoms, you’ll have a better understanding of what will and won’t help. Best wishes.
Im loving ur videos the way u explain it is very soothing but i wanted to know if only following this video per day will be enough or i shld do anyother exercise with it or just walking will be enough with this yoga?im thinking of walking for 20 mins and following this video will it be better or i shld do 16 min exercise and then follow ur video? Id be realy happy if u clarify my doubt hope u will respond soon
I don't know that you need to be so prescriptive. If you're drawn to do other forms of exercise as well, enjoy. The most important thing is to move your body consistently in ways that are sustainable and enjoyable. Be well!
In general, I recommend people listen to their bodies during their periods. If a pose feels good or a sequence feels good, then it's likely safe to do. If not, rest is always a good option. Hope that answers your question!
Hi Vaishnavi. I can only imagine how concerned you must be. Yoga has been shown to improve menstrual regularity. But it's only one piece of the puzzle. I encourage you to explore yoga and the many other things that can improve menstrual cycles (nutrition, sleep, stress management, supplements, medication). And always discuss your personal health care with your personal healthcare team. I'm wishing you all the best. 🤗
@@LiveFertile thank you for this video, I have not got my period for the past 6 months. Stopped popping birth control pills. Was anxious and stressed but your video calms me down and for now even if i didn't get my periods I feel relaxed and better. ❤️ Thank You 🙏
Hi there. I encourage you to discuss your concern with your healthcare provider. Ongoing bleeding is always something you want to address as soon as possible with your personal healthcare team. I’m wishing all the best.
Good question! It definitely can. I wrote an article about the benefits of yoga for PCOS you might like to read. You can find it here: www.pcosnutrition.com/yoga/
Having ovarian cysts is not the same as having PCOS so I'm not sure I can help. How to address the ovarian cysts would depend on the underlying cause of them www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/ovarian-cysts/symptoms-causes/syc-20353405. Best wishes!
@@LiveFertile mam my ovary shows dominant follical measuring 14mm can we sat it cyst.... My periods is not regular.... But i have noticed some weght gain on my lower abdomin and also little more growth on face...... Is this pcos Or ovarian cyst. Plz rply
That really depends on what you ate, how long before practicing you ate, and what feels best to you. You can always try different things and notice how you feel. Your body is the best guide.
Great question! Generally, you inhale when expanding and exhale when contracting, all done through your nose during asana/ poses. For example, in cat/ cow you would inhale for cow (when you arch your spine) and exhale for cat (when you round your spine.) I recommend playing with it and trying even unconventional inhale and exhales to see how it feels to you. Hope that helps!
Hi there! The acne associated with PCOS is caused by underlying imbalances. Most of which yoga addresses and has the potential to improve. So, indirectly, it might. Everyone is different. So the only way to know if it will improve your symptoms, is to try it along with making other lifestyle related changes. Be well!
Hi my name is Kendra as well lol. But I have been struggling with excessive bleeding for months now and don’t want to take birth control will this help reduce the bleeding. I haven’t been diagnosed with pcos but I kind of figure this is what it is.
Hi Kendra! Without knowing exactly why you're bleeding, it's impossible to say what will help. I hope your doctor is able to run the necessary labs and ultrasound (if indicated) to give you a definitive answer about what is going on. Best wishes!
@@LiveFertile thank you! I did go the doctors and they did tests but I haven’t heard back from them regarding my blood test results but and my ultrasound is not scheduled until January because they are backed up but they did a pelvic exam and said they didn’t feel anything. Hopefully they can give me some answers soon. Thank you for replying!
I really can't say. Everyone's body is so different. And it's important to remember that yoga is only one piece of the puzzle. There may be other things your body needs to get your period back. I recommend speaking with your healthcare team to figure out what would be best for you.
I m suffering from pcos from last 6 months I m putting on weight & my belly is growing plz help me... I have not tried any exercise or yoga so how to start with or do I start directly is it safe
I always recommend having a chat with your health care provider if you're starting a new exercise routine. Yoga is typically safe for beginners and the videos I share are relatively gentle but it's better to be safe than sorry. Be well!
Hi there! Yoga while powerful, is only one piece of the puzzle. Combined with other practices and lifestyle changes, it really can make a difference. Only one way to know how it will work for you and that's to try it. Best wishes!
Hi there! That really is up to you, how you feel, and your schedule. I usually recommend at least twice a week (more if time permits) to my one-on-one clients but ultimately everyone has to do what works best for them. Best wishes!
Hi there! Good question. It's impossible (and technically unethical without fully assessing you) for me to say for certain. In general, if someone is underweight and it's impacting their hormones and menstrual cycle, movement/ exercise should gentle and reduced. It's also important to make sure the person is getting enough calories and other possible conditions have been ruled out. I recommend chatting with your medical team and a registered dietitian specializing in women's health. Hope that helps!
Hello! This is a tricky question with a not so straight forward answer. It really depends on how each person feels during their period. Some people feel great doing inversions and twists during their periods, others don't. Many yoga teachers encourage avoiding inversions (even gentle ones) while menstruating, but many say it's fine. Your best bet is to check in with yourself and see how you feel. You can always choose a different pose if the one offered doesn't feel good for your body. Be well!
I tend to create simple sequences that beginners have told me they enjoy. Ultimately, the only way to know for sure if it’s a practice you feel comfortable doing is to try it. I hope you enjoy it!
Hi Shruti! Many people find it uncomfortable to do yoga on a full stomach but everyone is different. There are no hard and fast rules around it, so do what feels best to you. I personally don't love how it feels to have a full stomach when I practice yoga but I also don't like doing yoga hungry. Somewhere in between feels best to me.
Good question, Zari. Yes, you can do yoga at any time during your menstrual cycle. You might find that the type of poses or yoga you enjoy changes based on where you are in your cycle. Hope that helps!
Hi there! Yoga can help improve menstrual regularity but there are too many other things that impact people’s periods for me to say this video will make your period come back this month. It certainly won’t hurt and might help. Best wishes!
You can but it’s a little more active than the type of practices I’d typically recommend before bed. You might like this one a little more for the evenings: Bedtime Yoga Sequence for PCOS ruclips.net/video/7Q40vmVZ5Rk/видео.html
Mam I am suffering from polycystic ovaries syndrome .and I am very skinny and thin actually underweight...will this exercise is beneficial for me or not... If i can do any other exercise so plzz tell me
Thank you for your question. In general, yoga can be beneficial for bodies of all different sizes. You and your healthcare team will best be able to determine if yoga is something you should explore for your PCOS. Be well!
I really wish i could give you a simple yes or no but i can't. I don't know your history. You mentioned being underweight. Some providers will recommend avoiding physical activity depending on why your weight is low and how underweight you are. I recommend asking your personal doctor what you should do. Hope that helps.
Actually I am underweighted from starting when I was a kid ... And l also go through several tests like thyroid test (TSH) n all BT test comes negative
Hi,im ur new subscriber n new to yoga n 74kg..have to lose weight..trying to conceive..i have PCOS too..hopefully this rutine can help me..easy and slow motion really do help me as a beginner..Oo..the audio is too low...anyway..TQ😘..
Hi Celina! Yoga can definitely be an important and effective part of a supportive lifestyle that can help with PCOS symptoms and help you conceive. I highly recommend seeking out a healthcare team to help you manage all aspects of your PCOS. I'm a registered dietitian and yoga teacher so nutrition and movement are the areas I specialize in. Checkout my website, www.livefertile.com, for more information about lifestyle changes for PCOS. Wishing you all the best!
That's a very good question. I really don't know. I'm not aware of any research about cysts and yoga. I can say, because it is yoga, it should still provide the general benefits that yoga provides everyone.
I want to try this, but I don’t understand 😭 I am just speak in Indonesian dan Japanese, can you help me? Do you can write subtitle on your video? In English, it’s OK, I will Translate letter 🙏

Hi there! You're welcome. It's my pleasure. I have some nutrition tips on my channel that might help. Be well!
Easy and effective... liked your video.. thank you for sharing this video
Thank you! I'm happy you like it.😊
Do we need to warm up before..?? I just cant do warm up in morning after waking up..
These yoga poses are so relaxing.. I fall asleep easily right after doing these.
It was created to not need a warm up first though you're welcome to warm up first.😊

Be well!
Did the acupuncture hurt? How long have you known about your PCOS?
Each needle felt a bit different going in. They're very thin. Some pinched, some I barely felt. Once they were in each had a different sensation. It was very cool.
I don't have PCOS. I specialize in it though.

Please remember, PCOS is not the same as ovarian cysts or chocolate cysts (an ovarian cyst filled with blood.)
I do hope you find the sort of assistance and support you're looking for. Best wishes!
How often should I do this? Everyday?
Hi there! That really depends on your schedule, what other forms of movement you’re doing, and how you’re feeling. I often recommend practicing yoga at least 3 times per week (doesn’t only have to be this video) but some people will do more or less. Have fun exploring what works for you. Be well!
Lovely tips
Thank you!
I have trouble with the beginning part because it hurts my wrists to be in that position for long. Any tips on how to help with this?
Hi there! It’s hard to say for certain what might help without seeing you and asking you questions but you might want to try out these tips:
1. Place padding under the palms of your hands to lessen the angle your wrists are in.
2. Try the cat/ cow sequence seated or kneeling rather than on your hands and knees.
Hope that helps!
Be well!
Hi! Thank you so much for making this video, Can I do this during my period?
As long as you feel comfortable doing the poses during your period, I don't see why not. Listen to your body. It's your best guide. Be well!
@@LiveFertile Best advice! I think due to all the information invading our lives, we forgot to listen to our intuition and our body. Thank you for all the guidance!
My pleasure, Camelia. Yes! I wholeheartedly agree. I'm all for knowledge and information, but nothing beats our own wisdom and intuition.
Hi "live fertile",
I am also suffering from PCOS.

Hey
I would appreciate if you can answer this.
Will it help in unwanted hair growth symptom of pcod?
Be well,
Kendra

Walang anuman!
You may discuss the problem with Ayurvedic doctor
Be well!
Can i do this yoga during periods days?
In general, I recommend people listen to their bodies during their periods. If a pose feels good or a sequence feels good, then it's likely safe to do. If not, rest is always a good option. Hope that answers your question!
Hlo its been 3 months that I have not got my periods .So will this exercise help me to get back my periods? I'm very much worried....

Does it help to regular missed periods?
Good question! It definitely can. I wrote an article about the benefits of yoga for PCOS you might like to read. You can find it here: www.pcosnutrition.com/yoga/
Is it helpful for irregular period too?
Hi there! If the irregular cycles are due to PCOS, then yoga can help improve menstrual regularity.
I have ovarian cyst. Plz...tell me, which yoga can I perform?
Having ovarian cysts is not the same as having PCOS so I'm not sure I can help. How to address the ovarian cysts would depend on the underlying cause of them www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/ovarian-cysts/symptoms-causes/syc-20353405. Best wishes!

Can we do it in the evening as well?
You can though it was designed to be a bit more energizing. You can always give it a try and see which time of day you prefer. 🤗
Dear sisy iam in Kerala thank you for you sharing this❤️
You're welcome!🥰
Can you tell me... that should I have my breakfast before yoga or after ???
That really depends on what you ate, how long before practicing you ate, and what feels best to you. You can always try different things and notice how you feel. Your body is the best guide.
Mam what is the correct method for inhale and exhale while yoga
Great question! Generally, you inhale when expanding and exhale when contracting, all done through your nose during asana/ poses. For example, in cat/ cow you would inhale for cow (when you arch your spine) and exhale for cat (when you round your spine.) I recommend playing with it and trying even unconventional inhale and exhales to see how it feels to you. Hope that helps!
Thankyooooouuuu xxxxxxxx

instead of doing it in the morning, is it ok if i do it in the afternoon around 5 pm?
Hi there! Feel free to give it a try and notice how it feels to you. Get curious and have fun.
Does this have an effect in reducing pcos acne?
Best time for pcos yoga is?
Hi there! The best time is whenever it works for your schedule. Be well!
How many days does it take to have my period back when I do this yoga?
Be well!
Does this really work for pcos? I recently found out that I had it, I hope it does.
Hi there! Yoga while powerful, is only one piece of the puzzle. Combined with other practices and lifestyle changes, it really can make a difference. Only one way to know how it will work for you and that's to try it. Best wishes!
Should i do it every morning?
Hi there! That really is up to you, how you feel, and your schedule. I usually recommend at least twice a week (more if time permits) to my one-on-one clients but ultimately everyone has to do what works best for them. Best wishes!

Hello.
I have pcos and I'm underweight.
Is It recommended for me to workout and do Yoga?
Hello mam!!Can I do this yoga during periods??plzz reply....
Be well!
Can I do this as a beginner??
I tend to create simple sequences that beginners have told me they enjoy. Ultimately, the only way to know for sure if it’s a practice you feel comfortable doing is to try it. I hope you enjoy it!
We've to do it empty stomach??
Can this do on evenings????
You can always try it and see how you feel if you do. There's no life-threatening risk in exploring it. 😊
Can i do yoga after menstruation and during ovulation?
Good question, Zari. Yes, you can do yoga at any time during your menstrual cycle. You might find that the type of poses or yoga you enjoy changes based on where you are in your cycle. Hope that helps!
Thank you.. ❤ i hope it helps me with my pcos...
Can i do your morning yoga.. then some exercise maybe after lunch and your pre-bed yoga daily?
I hope so too!🙂
That really depends on your energy levels, activity level, and schedule. You'll have to decide what feels best for your body. Be well!
Hello!
Does this yoga help loose weight too?
Weight loss isn't something I focus on. Can't say. Be well!
Hey Kendra
