Samsung user here, standby mode for me is a bit redundant. Why would I waste battery life for such a feature? I just don't get it, sorry.
I think it’s works just when u plug in the charger as u said i don’t see the point of an fuction that would drain more battery than usual
U can switch off Always on Display... basically you have an extra feature on samsung, whereas you dont have it on an iphone.. 😊
