It depends. I can no longer submerge my S24 Ultra under water. I shattered the back a couple of weeks ago only one drop. I didn't want to wait to ship mu phone to Samsung, so I went to a 3rd party to replace the back and I have lost my IP68 rating.

Just from the box you can guess because the real s24 Ultra comes with Usb-c to Usb-c cable so its really not that hard.But if they evolve and just pack a Usb-c cable it will be harder to know just from the box.

I've got personal experience trying to buy one of these fake 24 Ultra for my wife off of Marketplace, first and last time trying to buy a phone off Marketplace. These fakes have come a long way they are very convincing. The OS is very noticeably older android system running. It's a shameful thing that people are out there making these to scam people out of their hard earn money.
You know you could have dial some codes on the phone to see it is real or not, right? This is, by far, the easiest and most reliable method to know whether a phone is real or fake. It the box is open, obviously.
So I was watching this a few days ago and was planning on meeting someone to purchase an S23 ultra. Buuut things didn't work out, made a trip to the Samsung store and just bought an S24 ULTRA, a lot of the cases in there for the grey color looked like the fake case and feel as you described as I was looking around. The S pen supposed to have a button to open air actions located proximal to where one would place their index fingertip in penmanship eduquette. Another way to tell would be is to smell the S pen it will smell like an electronic or a burnt electronic smell. Going back to the outlines of the bezels snd camera punchhole. The bezel on the real S24U is supposed to look seemless and bearily noticable with sharper corners on the bezel corners of the screen. The notification bar and navigation bars blend in the bezel corners making the experience more immersive. The screen spacing between the glass digitizer is near none, so close that it looks as if you are actually touching the screen behind the glass and so close that when you look from a sharp agle it appears as if the screen behind the glass is what youre touching. It it will look real in digital form. Blacks are actually black (think of pitch black) and the saturation pops with colours. Now lets talk about the UI when setting up Samsung will always ask you for your samsumg account login especially in the newer one UI OS builds. Theyve always been more android alternative to apple when it comes to an ecosystem imo, and when it comes to backups and restoration with security theyre pretty good. Not the best but pretty close. So if youre looking to get a second hand device that is a flagship phone from samsung that has an os that runs post One UI 5.1.1 make sure it ask you to sign into your samsung account douring sertup. Also look in about phone and go to software information you should see knox software version in there knox is Samsungs security platform and it is the only way you can log into your samsung account through the device hardware and use key features like wallet, blockchain, pass, find, smart things, secure folder, cloud, microsoft one drive backup if associated, notes, anything bixby, any AI related features that samsung, Dex, and others that I may have forgot to list. On top of this if you have had a samsung device and have Enhanced Data Protecrion enabled, Samsung cloud will not recognize the fake device as One UI sends the IMEI along with all of the technical specs of the device to their servers to be verified through their database to ensure the device is lagitamate, hasnt been stolen or reported as blacklisted or in que to be either once a suitable connection has been found for that command to be executed. Within the UI settings you should also see device care and within that you will see diagnostics. Diagnostics is ran through the samsung members application. This directly tests the hardware and the software according to samsumgs standards. Samsung galaxy app store may update this when opened which is normal along with the app store itself. With that your new phone if lagit will definitely push you to sign into your google account and samsung account. Both are vital to get every feature out of your new galaxy S24 or any S flagship phone running the latest One UI.

Manual information from another samsung phone or older S series parts na dor phone probably the s23 ultra , a d then they bootloader an older S 23 ultra software and or last Note ultra software or hacked it etc lol 😂😂😂😂

This seems like it could be an assembly issue during production.
