After several weeks of watching videos and reading reviews I finally ordered the Beats Studio Pro from Best Buy, I have several different earbuds but this will be my first full size overhead headphones.

I just picked these up as well so far I’m really happy with them. I’ve watched a couple of reviews and the microphones really don’t sound that great. I haven’t had the opportunity to make a phone call and test them myself. So I’m basing this on the audio in the RUclips video. I’m very happy with comfort and sound quality. I’m also loving the included USB-C allowing me to take advantage of lossless audio in Apple Music. I also love the addition of a headphone jack, allowing me to use them with my external DAC and headphone amp. 😊🎉
I'd love to know if the Spatial Audio experience is exactly the same as the one in AirPods Max? I'm returning the AirPods Max because I find them uncomfortable but the one thing that really impressed me (apart from the infamous Transparency Mode) is Spatial Audio, which brings some songs with bright vocals to life like I've never heard before. It's seriously wild. So, I'd consider the Beats if the Spatial Audio is 1:1.
I think Beats surprised Apple. I think Apple initially had the idea to resolve the brand over time which is why they made the AirPods and AirPods Max. What’s happened is that Beats is holding as the number two earbud/headphone manufacturer in the US behind its parent company Apple and is bringing in Billions to still. Apple has what you call a very hood problem!
Just picked these up (in the brown) and so glad Apple added more bass back to these the previous version sound to me was terrible and just about all the bass was taken out.. these sound great
My studio 2s lasted me 9 years. Till the hinge broke. Well perfect timing that the studio pros went on sale. Going to see if these new ones last like the old ones.
First time viewing your channel, solid presentation quality and a great review. Looks like Beats is doing work. That mic sounds heavily compressed to me though, probably because of the heavy processing to keep the wind noise down. Would have been a good idea to also test it indoors so we can hear how it does when not doing battle with the surroundings. Thank you, keep up the good work.
Great review! But I have a question that nobody seems to be touching on. Since it doesn’t use Apples H1 or H2 chip would it still read my messages on my iPhone as I get them?
The only downside is the earcups. 1st if it was replaceable then I can probably use it to gym everyday for 365days a year coz I’ll have option to change cups daily, 2nd I’ll buy a mesh type to reduce the heat buildup
Beats Studio 3 are still better in my opinion due to the hard shell case coming with it not so of a snug fit with the ear cushion, and overall the loudness/bass is better. One pro the studio pros have is spatial audio which makes a huge difference within the audio making it sound as if you were in the studio with the person.

Any reason you leave out live listen and headphone Accommodations? Beat lacks HA, but does support LL, I think Max has both. Beats Solo Pro has HA, but not LL, now you only seem to get those features on a handful of devices. (Walled garden, but doing it to people with hearing issues, weird... and no one seem to care enough to cover it, not sure why it would hurt you to add that kind of information to the video, but let's leave out those annoying minorities...)
Dr Dre should of never sold Beats to Apple bc they will never make them an accessory that's better than the own Airpod Max.. Apple refuses to let any of its ACQUIRED product(s) outshine their own BRANDED product(s) therefore Beats headphones will truly never reach their full potential.
For an Apple use the MAX win but for an Android user the Beats win. The higher price and not being foldable and only minor advantages in sound, the MAX are not worth the price.

For what they headphones cost, the ear cushions should last a lot longer. Soft, yes, but flimsy and deteriorates quickly.
