I’ve been a beats supporter since day 1, and that won’t change with these. Already ordered my pair in black and I’m pumped 💪🔥
I've had mine about 3 weeks now and I'm completely blown away every time I put these things on. Great noise cancellation for yard work to keep mower sounds out and for walking my dog, I use the transparency mode. I scored these on Amazon for $179 and at that price, these are no brainers. At $350, these are still worth consideration. If you are in the market for headphones and find a deal on these, they're a trip!
Honestly it's amazing that you're covering these. Personally I own the beats solo pro and I take these everywhere with me. I sweat a decent amount, and these things have survived a bunch of drops. Can't last a day without my beats.

I need that navy blue to go along with my blue solo pros. I've also been wanting them to add better support for Android devices which they did. I have a new found respect for beats since they dropped the Solo Pro they have far improved

My Beast studio version 1 was pretty good. My daughter is currently using them. Along with your grips, I had some grip with the design, and I hope you can test #2 out.
1: the headphone jack port design made using higher-quality cables with larger 3.5 casing difficult. Companies make more of the slim version today so it's not a big issue as it was back then.
2: For gen 1. When I don't use it for a week, you have to charge them for 1min even though the battery had 50% power. It felt like you had to power slap the headphone to wake up. SMH
3: The last was the longevity of the earcups. I didn't use my studios for almost a year. I finally decided to use them, and the cups decintagraded like I had them in a desert environment. My wife has the Bose QC3, and the cup gave out just last week. We bought them around the same time.
Great job as always Floss! Most definitely need to cop so I can have for the airport when traveling with my tablet.

One thing I think is going over ppl’s heads is the ability to have lossless audio. The Beats brand will always be second to AirPods in terms of the amount of features Apple puts in it so the fact that they included lossless audio play with these is pretty much confirmation that the next AirPods Max should be coming with full Hi-Res Lossless capability in some form or fashion.
air pods max has lossless as well, just that its only through a direct wired connection. same goes with the studio pros as they only have lossless through a direct connection. lossless is too much to be used over bluetooth
you're talking about using headphones with lossless features with apple devices that don't support lossless codec playback. nice.
they prob did that cause the next update is coming in like 6 years 😅😭🤧
@@Mikivli Um no. 😒 They didn’t introduce the lossless audio codecs until a year AFTER AirPods Max came out which is why it can’t fully support it.

Tried them. They’re honestly the quality of the AirPod max for way less. The build quality of the Max is obviously better but for less of the cost. The Beats are great. The XM5 are still the better all rounders

Flossy, another bangin' video review!! One thing to note though is that there is multipoint on Android and Chrome with these headphones. Just not with Apple products yet. Weird. They said it may come in a future update.
That’s not multi-point bro, that’s Audio Switch.. that’s means you can me switch between your Chromebook and other compatible devices, Same with IOS. You can’t use 2 devices at the same time on either platform.

I’ve owned three pairs of beats headphones over the years and every single one of them broke after a year of use. My latest pair were a pair of Beats Studios, which snapped where the headphones fold. I’m someone who treats technology with care and I only used them at home. Really disappointed that the design of these hasn’t changed from the previous version of the Studios. If you’re interested in buying these, make sure you get extended warranty with them before you purchase them.
Crazy ive had some beats studio 3 for about 5 years now and they still work perfectly fine with the same battery life.
My Best Buy Total Tech member at the highest level is what I am. It breaks I get a new one no questions asked 😊
I feel like since Apple bought beats, their products have gotten better, but less people know they exist since they don't really market them the way they were before.

The comment by that "hater" at the beginning might have been somewhat true back at the beginning in the first few generations of Beats headphones. They were panned and disparaged at first, but they upped their game, and for years now they have been recognized as a serious headphone brand.
Yeah I owed a pair of Beats Studio 2 (which has this same design ) and the build quality was horrendous. The leather on the ear cups started pealing after about a year of use. I replaced the ear cups and after another few months the plastic frame snapped. To compare I’ve had my Sonys for years and haven’t had any of those issues. I’m surprised apple kept this same design.
When I heard these were dropping, I really wanted Floss’s review so quick for that realness 💯🔥

My Studios have been absolutely rock solid and durable for 3 or 4 years I've owned them. They've been dropped and sweated in non stop at the gym, and the only signs of wear and the ear pads only just begining to fall apart from the sweat.
The only time Flossy lies to us is when he says he's not going to sing to us 😂 keep doing your thing floss
These headphones look solid, but personally I’m still holding out for those H2 Beats Fit Pros that we should’ve got months ago.
Just judging by the last two pieces of hardware they released imma say a new fit pro will also have a custom beats processor, not the H2

I still have my Studio's from 5 years ago, still works and sounds awesome, my go to gym headphones. Only thing that needed replacement were the ear cushions.

Apple buying beats made their products substantially better what the fuck are you talking about? Yeah they’re not as good as AirPods Max but they’re almost half the price. And the Fit Pros have every feature AirPods Pro do? Without Apple none of these would have H chips and the sound quality would be likely be a lot less clean as they were before the acquisition.
They would have sold less because Beats wouldn't have AirPods like features like FindMy and auto switching. So while Apple is purposely nerfing the Beats line, they still have features they wouldn't have if they weren't owned by Apple.
I agree, Beats would have been a dead brand without Apple integration.. They would be in the same level as Skullcandy

My issues with these is someone like me, I use my buds daily, almost 24/7 and because of that the padding on the ear piece started to peel from just the oils in my skin and the first time it happened I thought it was a fluke so I said ok I’ll give it one more try and I purchased a 2nd pair and the 2nd pair did the exact same thing at the exact same amount of time! It breaks down exactly at 10 months or exactly at a year and so the warranty that you get is expired! So you are out $350! So that’s my issue with any beats headsets

Studio 2s best bass muddy sound tho but 3s are the sweet spot
