    Can you do a video of "different methods for UX researcher study"

    • @Tifffster
      @Tifffster  2 года назад +1

      Hello Rushali! :) thanks for watching😆
      Sure I’ll put that in my backlog of topics :) in the meantime, I recall that there are a lot of super helpful YT videos on that topic, so I would highly recommend following Aona Yang and Kevin Liang. They’re UXR experts who’ve covered so many educational UXR content out there!👍

    Thank you for sharing these tips. I am actually scared because I don’t think there’s anyone would hire me especially I’m not from a tech or design degree.

    • @Tifffster
      @Tifffster  2 года назад +1

      I totally resonate with your fear and lack of confidence. I felt the same at some point too. Though, I would challenge you to think from a different lens though - UXR is one of the unique fields in tech that don’t require tech background. Coming from a diverse background helps you become a better human researcher. It’s a growing field and, while it takes time, you’ll get there with patience, passion, and diligence!
      Keep asking questions! I’m here to support🧡

    Hi Tiffany! Do recruiters/hiring managers usually let you know if there will be a case study presentation? I had a recruiter saying that nothing formal would be needed for the next interview, so I wasn’t sure if I still need to prepare for a presentation🥲

    • @Tifffster
      @Tifffster  2 года назад +1

      Hey JP! First of all, congrats on progressing thru the interviews!🥺🙌 That’s awesome.
      If they said that, it means you won’t need to prepare anything separately for that interview. No need to prepare a presentation just for them, but hopefully you already have something on your portfolio that you can walk them through.
      Note that it is highly likely (based on my experience) that they’ll ask you to quickly walk them through a project you’ve done in the past. This is where you CAN choose to walk them thru a case study project, but you can also just verbally walk them through a past project, as you would informally do a case study presentation.
      Either way, it’d be helpful for you to mentally prepare examples of end-to-end project and practice them out prior to the interview. Even if it’s not this particular interview, most interviews require being able to verbally or visually walk thru past project!
