hey what's the work life balance compared to UX designers? and is it a tough transition from ux designer to a researcher ?

Hi! I can’t compare side by side because I’ve always been a researcher. To clarify, I haven’t transitioned from uxd to uxr! To speak for myself, my worklife balance is usually awesome. I take ownership of my own research timeline, so I plan for my workload ahead of time so that I’m not overwhelmed or burned out.
